Achtis Hotel in Afitos

Just the most relaxing place We keep coming back - we know we will always get a warm welcome and feel like one of the family. Nothing is too much trouble and everyone is so friendly . The village is beautiful with lovely bars and restaurants but the food and the new bar at achtis rivals any of them so you do not even need to leave the hotel to be totally spoilt

After a few years not going to The Achtis - we decided to come back. And everything was just, if not better as we remembered it from our many Family holidays. Everyone there can't do enough to make your stay special. This time was the first time without children - perfect for a couple get away too. The garden is gorgeous... The food was delicious... Every staff member is so kind and make you feel so welcome. We already booked for 2026 :)

We returned to the wonderful achtis for our 6th stay in August and honestly it gets better each time! with the ongoing constant yearly improvements they continue to make. On our late pm arrival we were collected from the airport in the new hotel personal car transfer that they do in house now themselves by Lillia and Achiles. Once there we were taken to the new cocktail bar where kristina was waiting to make our favourite drinks to which she always remembers. The new bar is absolutely beautiful with so much attention to detail given,as always with everything that is done in the achtis! Our room was kept spotless as always and the food is just amazing. We were there for 10 nights and ate in the hotel for 9 nights only once eating in the lovely village which is a shame but the achtis food is so good and relaxed atmosphere we just didn’t want to eat anywhere else. The addition of the personal airport transfer is something else that makes your time that bit more relaxed and the new cocktail bar again that little bit less wanting to leave on an evening which gives you even more relaxing vibes. We love coming here and look forward to our next visit! Also every member of the achtis team(family) are fantastic and are a massive part of our whole experiences over the years!! A wonderful relaxing week spent here for some much needed down time. The welcome when we arrived was personal and we were shown round by Lilia and Andronikki after some champagne and cake. By the end of the first day all the staff knew our names and made us feel like part of one big family. It well deserves 5 stars or more, all the staff and owners hospitality was superb - it really is one big family. The hotel is lovely and tranquil at this time of year. The food was outstanding. The Breakfast buffet has everything you can think of and the dinners we had in the restuarant were amazing. We ate in Afytos village a few nights but then came back to enjoy the bar. The room was exactly as the photos show it. We will definitely be returning and can't wait!!

Attended September 25, to celebrate my mother in law 80th birthday gift with my family. Age group were 1, 28, 58, 59 and 80 year old. This was my wife and I, 4th visit in 4 years which says a lot about this wonderful hotel and staff. From the time we where greeted at the airport, to the time we left we were treated like family and not paying guests like you do in big hotel chains. Ever time we have been, the hotel have changed and improved which is hard to believe they could on excellence. The hotel is super clean in all areas, with each room decorated uniquely styled with each room with a view of the fantastic pool area. The rooms are cleaned by 3 hard working cleaners who always give you a smile. The gardens and pool area is Beautiful and well layer out, with plenty of beds around the pool with light music being played in the background. If you want a my quieter area, there are beds dotted around the garden area for that private touch.Food and drinks can be delivered to your location. The food is top level of a high quality and variation for every taste. All the food is made at the hotel by the talented kitchen staff. We have eaten the breakfast, lunch and dinner at the hotel which have been a great experience. Because you get that personal service if you fancied something different to what’s on the menu, they will change things to please your request if they can. Staff are 5 star. They are everything and more from what you would want, when you go to a hotel. They go above and beyond to make your time there, a special experience. They always remember your name, to your favourite drinks, food and likes. They work long hours but always join you with a smile and a chat. All the staff from the cleaners, maintenance, gardener up to the owner are kind and great to be around. A big shout out to Lilia, Kristina, Julie and Androniki. If you want a relaxing time in a family run boutique hotel, then this is the place you won’t regret it. All these 5* reviews don’t lie.

Returned again to our favourite hotel and it just gets better..... As you walk through the door you step into a beautiful calming oasis where the best staff welcome you like family and nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are all unique, tastefully decorated and kept immaculate by the amazing cleaning ladies. There is always an enormous choice of delicious home made food at breakfast and in the evening, prepared to the highest standard by Gabriela and the team. The pool area and gardens are very chilled with lots of different choices in where to relax and the new cocktail bar has a lovely friendly vibe in the evening. Special thanks as always to Lilia, Kristina, Julie and Androniki for looking after us again.

We returned to this beautiful hotel for a second time. From the moment we arrived it was like arriving at a family home. All the management and staff remembered us and in particular our 14 year old foodie son! The rooms are stunning, impeccably clean, cleaned every morning by the lovely smiling cleaners. All the staff are always smiling and happy to help, in particular the lovely Christina and Lilia on hand for any requests. The food at the hotel didn’t disappoint again this year, the breakfast was always different and plenty of it! For a small hotel they really do cater for everyone, even taking requests from our son for his favourites! The environment is so peaceful, relaxing and beautiful making our stay like no other within its own little oasis. Every morning our 4 year old would join the owner to feed the fishes in the stunning pond he loved this and he is now his new best friend! You know you have found a special place when you leave in tears as it’s like saying goodbye to family! We will be back and can’t wait to see everyone again. Thank you just doesn’t seem enough x

Like all Couple holidays we were looking for a nice relaxing Hotel and after visiting this Hotel the reviews speak the truth from what we read, the moment you walk into the grounds you are greeted by Lilia and she made us feel so special and not just another room booking at a reception desk. Lilia makes you feel so welcome and personal with a chat about the Hotel with a glass of prosecco and some local Greek cakes, the Hotel was so private and no matter where your room was you were over looking the pool, rooms were spotless and cleaned every day, the food in the restaurant and Bar was fabulous and the staff also made it personal by knowing your name and willing to sit and chat with you. Pool service available while chilling and the gardens are so nice to stroll around and you will never be left without a sun lounger as loads to choose from. Peacocks walking free throughout the grounds called Kevin and Penelope, plenty of Drinks and especially the cocktails made by Christina are so nice, the village is only a 5 min walk from the Hotel with plenty of Restaurants to choose from and the scenery if gorgeous. I would 100% recommend this Hotel and are already planning a return trip.

What a find! I actually don’t want to tell you too much about this hotel as it’s a secret gem! However… if you choose to go to Achtis Hotel you won’t be disappointed! The hotel and its grounds are stunning!! The staff are exceptional and the service is personal and 5*. Afitos is a gorgeous traditional Greek village with plenty to do. Actually everything about this holiday was wonderful! Would we recommend it… absolutely!! Would we go back…absolutely!!! See you soon!

We stayed here 6 years ago and I gave it 5 stars then. If I could give it more stars this time I would as they have improved perfection. Little improvements like the new cocktail bar. Improvements around the pool and lots more. The hotel is ideally located just a 3 min walk to the beautiful village of Afytos and a 10 min walk to the beach. The restaurant is also exceptional. Breakfast is amazing. Even homemade bread !! Lunch and dinner both just as good. One evening we had probably the best lamb shank we have ever had. All the staff are still the same as 6 years ago. I work in hospitality and I have to say they are the best. Every single member of the team is amazing. They even organise tours for you. We did a wine tour organised and escorted by Kristina. Amazing. We wish we had booked for longer as 7 days wasn’t enough. We will definitely be back. Thank you team Achtis. Xx
