Lagomandra Beach & Suites in Neos Marmaras

One of the best hotels we have ever stayed at, everything was wonderful from the food, staff, facilities and last but not least the beach is one of the best in the area there.

Food is excellent. Stuff is very friendly. Perfect for families. Rooms are nice and clean. More space between sunbed would be nice.

We are a family of 4 with 2 kids of 6 and 13. I don’t usually leave reviews but this time I felt I could contribute something. Our holiday experience has been long haul, all inclusives and in Europe mainly villas and apartments with car hire. This time we only had a week available so it was easier to stay in one place. We booked with Jet 2 from Edinburgh. Price was very reasonable and actually overall we now realise it was a bargain. Jet 2 were really good. Thessaloniki airport was well organised and it was easy to get through in both directions. Flights were on time. Transfers left on time both directions and passed quickly. Lagomandra beach hotel is on the beach and behind it is Lagomandra Spa. The area is very scenic. We were the only British people there ???? They would welcome more Scottish people and its an obvious one from Edinburgh so maybe next year we will bump into some fellow Scots. The rooms are modern, comfortable, very clean and have daily cleaning and towel change. Its a small resort so its a short stroll to the pools and beach. The pools are quiet and have plenty sunbeds all with umbrellas. The pool bar has a large shared area with tables and chairs. The sea is perfect, its like a pool untill 2 pm when the tide is coming in. There are 3 beach areas The hotel beach has plenty of sunbeds and is really well organised. To one side is a large area where you can park yourself away from the sunbeds. The other side is a public beach with a wooded area. That’s where the usual watersports are. There is a well stocked shop on the site. We were half board and the food was excellent and varied. I recommend the Sauvignon Blanc if you like white wine. Very good Mohitos. The beach bar cafe has really good Pitta bread/ gyros and salad sandwiches for 5 Euros for lunch. The beach restaurant has the best calamari, grilled shrimps and general seafood and is very reasonable. Lunch for 4 with drinks around 90 euros. The beach showers actually work. The Spa hotel has evening Entertainment and organised kids activities. The main standouts for us was the work that Notis the manager and Aphroditi his assistant have done in creating the best team of people I have ever come across. They are all hardworking, happy and really eager to please. You quickly get to know them and they always welcome you with a smile. A thankyou and a modest tip goes a long way so bring some euros. The place is so well organised. Its a perfect family resort, we all loved it there. Criticism - we didn’t Like the olives Next time- we are taking a paddle board and staying 10 days.

I stayed in this hotel with my family for 10 nights. The location of the hotel is excellent, right on the Lagomandra beach, separated only by a small street that is not busy. We were accommodated in the building closest to the beach. The beach is nice and clean, the only drawback is that it is shallow water so much, which was a bit of a problem for us with small children. She is generally excellent. The room was ok in size, nice terrace, spacious and clean bathroom. We are also satisfied with the cleanliness and cleaning every day. We are generally satisfied with the restaurant, the food is varied and delicious. The employees at the reception were always very pleasant, ready to give recommendations for restaurants and the like, or to issue additional cards for the room if we happen to forget them in the room ☺️. Flaws in the room - very uncomfortable beds and pillows in the rooms, an old refrigerator that does not cool at all. Flaws in the restaurant - We had two situations with food - 45 minutes before the end of breakfast, they said that they were done with American pancakes and that there would be no more, and the second time, 20 minutes before the end of dinner, the same thing happened to me with fresh cucumber. Food from the beginning to the end, which is determined by the hotel's policy, should be available, and not some things just put away earlier and never come back. CONS in the hotel in general - very poor Wifi connection. GENERAL IMPRESSION - apart from these little things, I would recommend the hotel for a vacation because my overall impression of it is excellent! It will remain in our fond memories 🤗

I need to congratulate notis the manager. He and his team are so helpful, genuinely happy to welcome you and ensure that your holiday is better than you could ever expect. He is clearly a well organised leader and has put together a great team. It’s rare to find so many people dedicated to providing service with a smile. The overall ambience, the room, the food and the beach can only be described as perfect. We were even introduced to a Greek wine that rivals the best of the French Sauvignon blanc. I can’t wait till next year Thanks to everyone.
