We stayed here four nights, accommodations spotless, breakfast buffet one of the best. Family owned, very helpful, very pleasant and great hosts. Willing to help in any way from rental car, to directions to bus routes. Highest recommendation on all levels

Family run, everyone so helpful and kind. Great location, rooms very clean and breakfast surprisingly good. Lots of areas to chill out.

My husband and I stayed at Ostria Hotel and let me just say — the best hospitality ever! The moment we walked in, Nikolas greeted us with such warmth that we already knew we’d love it. The rooms were cozy, and huge bonus — there’s an elevator for our (very) big luggage. We travel a lot, and we have to say this was the best breakfast we’ve ever had at any hotel. Fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. The hospitality from Nikolas and Theodore was incredible — truly grateful to them for making our stay unforgettable. I also have to point out how spotless and perfectly organized our room was. Honestly, we’d stay here a million times over.

This family run hotel is a gem to stay in while in Milos! We stayed here in June 2025. It is a close walk to the port of Adamantas, situated near many delicious restaurants. The staff are friendly and an absolute pleasure to deal with great recommendations! Our room was comfortable, clean and spacious with a nice balcony and water view. The breakfast was an absolute treat to start our day. We also rented a car directly from the hotel which was easy to do, priced well and ran great! We put it on order before arriving so it was ready to go when checking in. Thank you Miltos, Nicholas, Theodore, Vana and all of your lovely family!! It was a great stay and we hope to be back again soon!

Loved our stay at the Ostria! Just a beautiful 5-10 minute walk a long the water into Adamas where there are plenty of lovely restaurants, bakeries & shops. We really enjoyed the breakfast each morning & the beautiful roof top deck in the evening. We even jumped in the jacuzzi a few times! We rented a car through the hotel, which was very convenient. The front desks clerks helped us plan what towns & beaches to visit each day & were always so accommodating and welcoming. Hotel was spotless, the owners clearly take pride in their establishment. We dream of one day being able to return to Milos & wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!

Hotel Ostria is beautiful but I didnt want to pay the price of a boutique hotel. The young lady in the Hotel directed me to Hotel Ostria Studio apartments just two streets away, accessed in the lane alongside the Mining Hotel (well worth a visit). Sadly it has taken me too long to get round to review all the places I visited on my Island Hopping trip and I have forgotten the name of the lovely owner or BOTH these properties. The studios at that time were only weeks old and have been designed to a very high standard, shower with a built in light in the showerhead to indicate hot and cold, very cool! The owner is lovely, she is very accommodating and genuinely wanted to know what I thought of the Studios. The interior is cutting edge design and facilities and a breakfast tray of some rusk type toasts and honey is provided, with biscuits etc. I had a little patio which although overlooking the street, this is a quiet street. I was effectively on theback of the main apartment block which has a central atrium, just all very lovely. I paid 40 euros a night which isnt cheap but this was excellent quality. I had originally stayed one night in some Studios/Rooms a couple of streets on the other side of Hotel Ostria, which were good value, clean but the owner of those apartments lived in accommodation below the rented accommodation and his children screamed and ran up and down and banged doors until late evening which is no good if you re tired and want an early night.

First of all, there are two different buildings - Ostria hotel and Ostria studios, 5-7 minutes walk from each other. We were asked beforehand when we arrive to the studios, I marked the time period and asked someone to be in the building to give us the keys. But in the mentioned time there was no one. So my first advice - go first to the Ostria hotel (even if it's uphill), it's on the way to Ostria studios, and take the keys there. Another disadvantage - the WiFi didn't work at all. But actually for me it was even better, I could normally relax :) Other things are all perfect: location - in the quiet place 5 min to Papikinou beach, 10 min to the Adamas port; Room -spacious, comfy beds, AC, new stylish furniture, nicely decorated, "welcome" bottles of water, cleaning every day, adorable balcony we spent many lovely evenings at :) ; Breakfast - one of the best breakfasts (or even just the best) I ever had in Greece - traditional homemade Greek pastry, omelette, Greek cheese, toasts, various types of bread, various fresh fruits, Greek desserts, and each day it's the new set, absolutely adorable. Staff - super friendly and helpful gave us all possible recommendations on even what to see in Athens :) This place is highly recommended whenever you're in Milos!

August 2013 we stayed first at their studios and then at the hotel. Rooms very very clean, the studios had an atractive minimalist feel. Price was good for the season. the staff were friendly and helpfull.

My husband and I stayed here in July with my father and his family and had a lovely time. The rooms were very clean, the bed was comforable, the a/c worked like a charm (it would've been unpleasant not to have a/c) and there was free and reliable wifi. It was also very nice to have a small refridgerator and a small balcony with a view down to the water. The only slight glitch was that the shower cycled through hot to cold the entire time it was in use and wouldn't hold a consistent temp. It made showering somewhat less than relaxing since you never knew if you'd be scalded or frozen. The hotel is situated on the edge of town about 50 m up from the road. It was a little difficult to find initially by car since you must take some very narrow side roads to reach it, despite its proximity to the main road. It is about a 5-10 min walk to the center of town. The water closest to the hotel isn't particularly suited to bathing since it's where many of the small fishing boats are docked and there's not really any beach. The water is clear, however, and we did see several locals swimming in this area. You need to head southeast along the road out of town to get to something you might consider a beach. Its location did make it very quiet which was nice. Central Adhamas is very busy and bustling and I think staying closer to town would've been too noisy. The breakfast was very nice and served a selection of local pastries that changed each day. The bougadza was delicious as was the karpousopita which is a local speciality (watermelon pie). The desk staff were very helpful and gave us many suggestions on where to eat and which beaches to visit. My father's wife is Greek and so we communicated with the staff in Greek. I'm not sure how good their English is - they definitely do speak some English. All in all it was a lovely stay and I would definitely stay there again if I go back to Milos.
