Amalia Hotel Nafplio

Nafplio, Amalias Street (2 km from centre) 🧭

It’s a resort style hotel. Cozy but far from city centre so gotta drive.

This Hotel takes you to a classic hotel, perfect if you want to experience history. It has a beautiful garden for you to enjoy with a book. The breakfast was great. Is is close to Nafplio town and if you have a car, you should stay here. Loved every minute of the stay,

Large hotel out of town, but very quiet. Can be busy with tourist buses. Checkin & out very easy & quick. Stay incl breakfast & dinner. Both served as buffets. Lots of options with the night desert options hard to beat. Not sure how to order drinks. Good facilities with pool & gym. Room spacious with room that opened to a small courtyard. Wifi was OK.

Outside of town, but quiet and relaxing. Open spaces and pretty grounds. Balconies offered a cool breeze into the room. Breakfast and dinner had nice selections. Try the sour cherries next to the jams/marmalade and the sour cherry juice at the breakfast bar. Very nice hotel.

This is not what Google, absurd Americanism, would call a "cozy" hotel. It is well designed, stylish in a functional way and provides all amenities. The breakfast is excellent. The rooms are what you need. Especially if you make sure you have a balcony. There is a generous pool. Being outside Napflion is a positive advantage when driving to sites. No struggling through town and no struggle to park...

The room was smelling and dusty. We have asked to clean and tide up the room in the morning of 2nd day and they have just replaced the towels but not the linen. Also, the breakfast was poor with very low quality of food and personnel were careless regarding the cleanliness of buffet that was in a mess by the guests. Used to visit that hotel over the last 5 years 2-3 times per year and was the first...

Ippoliti Hotel

Nafplio, Aristidou & Ilia Miniati 9 (in the centre) 🧭

Good central location in the old part of Nafplio, a few metres from the sea. Bathroom needed an upgrade. The breakfast room lacked atmosphere (just in hotel lobby). Our room was on two floors which meant bed was in the attic and a bit dark. In future I would book a room on one level so I had views from the bed! There was no storage upstairs. Lovely views from balcony. Staff were wonderful, very accommodating

December is the slow season and this pace was affordable. We had 4 people- two adults, an 18 and 12 yo and when booked it implied that we needed two rooms. At arrival both rooms were made up as if there’d be four people in each. We might’ve all fit in one room but we just had both rooms, plenty of space and enjoyed scenic Nafplio. FYI many stores closed and restaurants empty which might be undesirable...

Staff is excellent. Extremely helpful and accommodating. Perfect location.

Nice hotel very close to but not on the waterfront . Staff welcoming and being a traditional hotel no tourist tax to pay. Our room was on two levels, well sequins comfortable but!!! The stairs to the bedroom are steep and narrow, not an issue, until, like me, you need to use the bathroom on the lower floor during the night! Then you discover those stairs being the same wood and colour as the floors...

We had a wonderful two night stay in Room 301. The room was quiet, large, and clean. The bed was comfortable and the staff were friendly. They even mopped the entire bathroom during our stay and sprayed our linens with a nice relaxing fragrance. The location can't be beat.

I seem to disagree with other reviewers about this hotel. It was our least favorite during our two week trip to Greece. First of all, the pictures on their website are definitely airbrushed or out of date. Our room looked great online but very tired in reality. Everything needs a refresh, especially the very old bathroom. Cleaning also needs improvement. The bed is a mystery - wood corners stick...

Grand Sarai Nafplio

Nafplio, Fotomara & 3 Potamianou Street (in the centre) 🧭

This was a beautifully renovated building for a boutique hotel. The staff was extremely attentive and responsive. Cleanliness was excellent. Wonderful room and very comfortable bedding couches.

We had a great stay. Room was wonderful and staff excellent! Some stairs to get to the hotel but very manageable.

This was a very nice hotel, located in the historic district and walking distance to everything. Our family of six had three different rooms. All had queen sized beds, well equipped bathrooms, and different sized sitting areas. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with nice views too. Breakfast buffet in the morning had a nice assortment of options/air conditioning. The rate we paid was fine.

Great location and a great hotel. The rooms were very comfortable and they had amazing water pressure too! I am very glad we found this place

Lovely property. Very modern but full of charm. There are some steps to property but if that isn’t an issue this place is highly recommended.

The Grand Sarai is the perfect choice if you're looking for something special. The room was fabulous, it was spacious and stylish and very comfortable. The view from our room was incredible- it's got to be the best view in town! The breakfast was delicious with so much choice. The staff in the hotel were really kind and helpful. I can't recommend The Grand Sarai highly enough!

Athena Hotel

Nafplio, 11 Staikopoulou & Koletti st, Syntagmatos Square 211 00 (in the centre) 🧭

I had a great stay here. Friends were at another hotel and this was steps from them. Clean rooms, good air conditioning, perfect location. Breakfast was lovely and the ladies will make you fresh squeezed orange juice from the local oranges. The room was small but had a little balcony. The town quiets down after dinner so it was no problem to be in the middle of it all. If you arrive in the evenings...

small room, but everything was good

Room was clean and comfortable as advertised.

We loved everything about this. Location is fantastic.

Was staying in Athens and made a last minute booking to stay in Nafplio for a day. Booked the single room for €60 with breakfast included and let me just say what fantastic value it was. How this hotel is only 2 stars I have no idea. The location is fantastic and right in the middle of everything. The staff were incredibly accommodating, friendly and hospitable. The single room has a queen bed with...

Rooms were nicely functional with comfortable beds. Breakfast was very good. Staff friendly and attentive.

Dias

Nafplio, Papanikolaou & Mountzouridou (in the centre) 🧭

A great 3 night stay at this quaint hotel. We were originally booked to stay somewhere else but when that didn't happen we booked into the Dias, so glad we did. The staff, Kostas and Angie were so helpful in giving suggestions on the area and places to eat. If we return to Nafplio will definitely stay here again.

The room was what we expected for the cost, was very quaint and historic. Included every thing we needed. The two reception staff Kostas and Angie were second to none very helpful and gave recommendations for places to visit and dine. Big thank you to both. Martin & Mariea UK

A superb hotel in Nafplio’s old city. The staff were especially friendly and helpful, giving us useful tips about restaurants and local sites, as well as background information about the area. The breakfasts were also excellent! A great hotel from which to explore Nafplio.

Fantastic place, it's not the Four Seasons but they welcome you like old friends. The city is amazing and I wish I could have stayed longer than just 1 day.

Wonderful location and excellent staff. Very friendly and helpful! Close to shops and restaurants. The breakfast had great variety and was homemade.

Lovely hotel Lovely historical building, perfect location, staff so friendly, breakfast lovely.

Aion Luxury Hotel

Nafplio, 21-23 Othonos (in the centre) 🧭

Ideal location Friendly staff Delicious breakfast Spacious room Highly recommended!

Very nice stay, close to everything. Homemade food for breakfast. Lovely staff!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Avon, the staff were pleasant, accommodating, helpful, professional, courteous, and relaxed. The room was excellent, clean, aesthetically pleasing, the breakfasts were healthy and hearty, and the location is excellent as well. We did find an ashtray in our room, but nothing smelled of tobacco smoke, so I don't know that what was about, but other than this small...

Our stay at Aion Hotel was absolutely wonderful! The location was perfect, and the rooms were comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. But what truly made our experience exceptional was the outstanding hospitality. We accidentally booked our room for the wrong dates, but the staff was so accommodating and gave us a room without charging extra. Later, I got really sick and needed to see a doctor,...

Nice hotel with a central location in Nafplio. The hospitality is excellent and friendly and on request they even made us find espresso coffee for breakfast which is typically Greek. The general maintenance is a weak point, so much so that we requested a room change, which was granted.

The general design of the hotel deserves a major refresh, large carpets, dark room and fairly uncomfortable mattresses. Lunch there is not worth it, try in a cafe in town instead. Good location though, and everything was pretty clean (although a cockroach was wandering around in the bathroom).

Grande Bretagne

Nafplio, Filellinon Square, Nafplion port (in the centre) 🧭

The hotel has a great location, and I really like the decor. The breakfast selection is excellent. I would definitely choose this hotel again for my next vacation!

Pleasant scenery, excellent service and price, buffet breakfast, self-service ordering.

Very ornate, fancy. Very nice place. Great location. They lied about parking. NO PARKING. They expect you to park at the port. Which is always full

Great location, clean rooms, comfortable bed Cons: no tea/coffee/drinking water in the room; odor of sewer in the bathroom at night. AC difficult to operate.

This hotel, dating back to the 17th century, is indeed old. The rooms have very high ceilings and a small balcony facing the sea. The most bizarre thing is that they only provide blankets, not quilts. Perhaps it's because it's summer. The bathroom is very old and has a small bathtub. The cleanliness is so-so; there was a layer of dust on the telephone, suggesting other areas weren't very clean either...

The cafe off of this hotel is beautiful! Lovely atmosphere and beautiful seating and style. Full bar and coffee stand with friendly staff.

Aetoma Hotel

Nafplio, 2 Sq. San. Spiridon (in the centre) 🧭

From the moment we arrived, the staff at Hotel Aetoma made us feel exceptionally welcome. Even though we arrived early, they had our room ready right away and took the time to sit down with us and mark up a map with fantastic food and sightseeing recommendations. The location in Old Town was perfect for exploring the city and easily returning to the room to relax. The building itself is gorgeous,...

We absolutely loved our stay at the Aetoma Hotel. The communication from the beginning was excellent. We were provided with information on where to park, check in and about the area. We were greeted upon arrival and check in was simple. Akis gave us a map and shared recommendations on restaurants and places to visit. Our room was spacious, elegant — very classic. The best part about this hotel is...

Fabulous hotel. Gorgeous location and so central, pretty easy stroll up from the port carpark. The staff were outstanding, so friendly and helpful and the breakfast was great! Our room was spacious with a pretty little balcony area and the en-suite was modern. Everything was spotlessly clean also. Would highly recommend for a stay in Nafplio!

We stayed for 4 nights and it was wonderful! Everyone was helpful and friendly and the breakfast was delicious and definitely plentiful. We had an early morning departure our last day and they were kind enough to leave us breakfast to take with us the next day. They also had towels on hand to take down to the beach. The location was perfect. Very close to a lot of shops and restaurants without being...

We really enjoyed our stay here. We had the upstairs room in the Aetoma hotel which has a lovely balcony and terrace area, great for afternoon relaxing. It would not be suitable if you have any mobility problems as the stairs are quite steep (and it was good exercise to get our bags up and down). There is a square outside of the hotel, so while the road is narrow, you can drive up to the square to...

This is a small 5-room family run gem. The owner was born in and grew up in this house. We were in the top floor spacious room with an amazing balcony overlooking the square. Personalized breakfasts are the best I’ve encountered served in their sister property across the square.

Kanathos Pigi

Nafplio, Papaflessa, Aria (2 km from centre) 🧭

A nice hotel, with a helpful and kind staff, well designed rooms; a clean and reasonably arranged pool area. We would like to return there in the future!

The Kanathos Pigi Hotel was an excellent find, a truly fabulous hotel with outstanding facilities and service, just a few minutes’ drive out of Nafplio! We had a family wedding in Nafplio and stayed here for two weeks in August. The hotel manager, Lia, and the rest of the team made us feel welcome and at home from the moment we arrived. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a good-sized balcony...

Really, really enjoyed our stay here for 3 nights for the first part of our Greece trip. Nafplio is such a wonderful city to experience and the rooms, staff, amenities, and food were all exceptional. We felt so welcomed and very relaxed during our stay. Family of 4 with two teenage daughters.

Our stay at Kanathos Pigi was probably our best memory in Greece! Everyone was wonderful - warm and helpful throughout our stay. The rooms were large, breakfast was delicious and kids enjoyed the heated pool in April. We definitely hope to be back soon!

This is an excellent hotel for the price. Lia and the rest of the staff make you feel at home and do everything possible to make your trip special. It is a small hotel, but the rooms are generously sized, and all seemed to have a balcony. It is just a few minutes drive to downtown Nafplio, but you really can't walk to the town. The hotel is nestled deep into a residential neighborhood, that is...

Beyond our expectations! We booked the hotel because we needed a relaxing break for our road trip. Everything was amazing! Due to low season, we enjoyed outdoor facilities all by our own, clean, beautiful, comfortable! Breakfast was unbelievable great and not expensive at all. What’s impressive is in the room, they offer different kinds of pillows, we had a wonderful rest!

Wonderful place. Great view. Amazing breakfast. Room is huge. Just near Nafplio.

Love this establishment! The staff are both kind and accommodating. The owners have been beyond helpful. The food, excellent, the service outstanding, the view and pool, stellar!

this was the most relaxing 4 days of our 40 year marriage. we relaxes, took day trips to explore local ruins, fishing villages and Nafplio. the staff were well informed and friendly. The breakfasts were excellent and fresh made on the spot. And the afternoon "snacks" easily became our evening meals, delivered to our patio. The bar was fully stocked with variety of interesting local cocktails, beers...

We loved our stay here and can not wait to come back. The setting is beautiful. Pool incredibly inviting. Everything is very clean. The staff helpful and friendly. The breakfast delicious. It was great to explore and come back to this little oasis. We loved it and highly recommend.

Incredible location and service - 10’ away from Nauplie in a very quiet and resting resort, w a view on the olivier trees. Everybody care of you, room and bed are perfects

Adiandi Boutique Hotel

Nafplio, Othonos 31 (in the centre) 🧭

The design is amazing so warm and welcoming you feel like you’re in a dream They really make you feel at home with the service, the cleanliness of the rooms, the breakfast is great So actually great everything

This hotel was beautiful and we had excellent service throughout our stay. The breakfast was delicious with all local ingredients and authentic dishes. It was great to stay right in the middle of Old Nafplio with easy access to everything. We loved our stay and would absolutely come back again.

Jelena helped check us in and was so welcoming. The drinks and breakfast at the restaurant were amazing. Everything was a short walk. I would absolutely stay here again.

Room was nice and clean and large enough so the 2 of us were comfortable. I enjoyed the location right in the heart of the town and action.

Wonderful stay in a great location in central Nafplio for shopping, exploring and restaurants. Vicky and the team made us feel very welcome.

Excellent location in amazing little town. Well worth the visit for the shopping, restaurants and chill vibe. The town is a much nicer Athens. Funky rooms and very nice staff.

3Sixty Hotel & Suites

Nafplio, Koletti & Papanikolaou 26 (in the centre) 🧭

A truly lovely hotel with a fantastic location in the Old Town. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Truly outstanding gem of a boutique hotel. It is, bar none, in the best possible location in old town Nafplio. The renovated old mansion affords very tall ceilings, and ornately decorated luxurious rooms. We had room 102 and it was perfect! The restaurant was superb and the included breakfast is fresh and amazing (12 days of it and we never tired of it). Last, but certainly not least, the staff...

We had a very comfortable one-night stay here. The room was very clean, updated, and had a good quality bed. Large soaking tub. Free, cold water. Breakfast was out of this world. They let us order as much as we wanted. It was all fresh and delicious. No extra charges. The only negatives were the bar downstairs, which played loud music until about midnight, despite not being too busy. Then there was...

Parking was easy if you can find a spot. Im sure in the summer it would be very difficult! The town seems safe enough. Its definitely not Athens!

We truly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful property. Our room is on the second floor with a large terrace. A jacuzzi and sun bed are to enjoy but still have the privacy thanks to the enclosure. The view is fantastic! The room is spacious and stylish with large mirrors. We have everything we need in the room. The location is very central yet you can drive to the front door to unload the luggage. Parking...

Enjoyed the food, the wine and the service. Didn't stay the night, but the donning room was great and the service was very good. My only objection, at the end of the event they started opening the umbrellas for the next morning before we had finished our drinks, which was a awkward for all.

Friendly, helpful staff. Clean, well appointed rooms and in a great location.

The location on the beautiful main square is perfect. The rooms are lovely, breakfast is excellent AND most important, the staff is superb— helpful, professional and going beyond in ways to make your stay memorable. The staff star is Tania—who arranged our trips, recommended where to eat- and took our dinner orders—and carried our luggage— a real Olympian! Thank you Tania!! You could manage the Grande...

Best location at the main square. Very clean and beautiful rooms. Met all expectations. Breakfast was (included in room fee) fantastic. Front desk lady (Vania I think) was lovely and super helpful. Will stay there again!!

Stayed here for 2 nights. The room was fabulous. The breakfast was incredible. The location was spot on…right on the square easy to get around. No onsite parking.

Room was fantastic. Loved the balcony for people watching as it looked out onto the square. Breakfast was wonderful. Fantastic staff.

Ilion Hotel Suites

Nafplio, 4 Efthimiopoulou Str (in the centre) 🧭

Place with character. Perhaps wouldn't describe room 33 as deluxe though, take a note that it has only small windows to the balcony. Plentiful breakfast.

Amazing service clean room great breakfast

The room was incredible! The antiques and decor were great! The balcony was such a great way to relax at the end of the night. The breakfast was very delicious and filling. The location was perfect for exploring the town. Staff was wonderful! Would recommend!

The most amazing service ever experienced in a hotel.

This place was wonderful. The breakfast was great, we looked forward to it everyday. The staff was very friendly. The location is great, quiet but so close to stuff. Recommended!

Loved staying here. Be prepared to walk up a lot of stairs to get to reception, but if you stay in one of the lower rooms you will be able to enter at Entrance B, which is further downhill and easier to get to.
