Excellent service! Clean!

December is the slow season and this pace was affordable. We had 4 people- two adults, an 18 and 12 yo and when booked it implied that we needed two rooms. At arrival both rooms were made up as if there’d be four people in each. We might’ve all fit in one room but we just had both rooms, plenty of space and enjoyed scenic Nafplio. FYI many stores closed and restaurants empty which might be undesirable for some people but unrelated to the helpful and convenient Ippoliti.

Nice looking hotel located a stone throw from the harbor, close to restaurants and shopping yet very quiet at night. Rooms are spacious, tastefully decorated. Breakfast is good with wide selections, fresh squeezed orange juice is a plus. Service is great, staff help carry luggage to your room.
I would rate this hotel 5* if not for the following negative experience: I was wakened up in the middle of the night by an intense itch on one of my fingers and the back of my right hand. The next morning, I can see 3 red spots like insect bites and the back of my hand is red and swollen. I showed my hand to the front desk lady and asked to get a different room as soon as possible. The following day I talked to the front desk lady again and she dismissed my problem as just an allergy. I didn’t appreciate that comment as it is unprofessional, showed disrespect and irresponsibility. It took 4 days with a prescription cream for the swelling and the itch to subside.
I am not sure what kind of bug it was that bit me in the middle of the night while I was in bed at Ippoliti. But for sure I am not going back to Ippoliti if I was to visit Nafplio again.

Nice hotel very close to but not on the waterfront . Staff welcoming and being a traditional hotel no tourist tax to pay. Our room was on two levels, well sequins comfortable but!!! The stairs to the bedroom are steep and narrow, not an issue, until, like me, you need to use the bathroom on the lower floor during the night! Then you discover those stairs being the same wood and colour as the floors are quite dangerous in poor light. Even the main hotel staircase can be tricky for those with less than perfect eyesight due to the way the light colour offers little definition. The inclusive breakfast consists of all the usual fair offered in Greek hotels but we were not offered any assistance or guidance so were unable to order toast.

We had a wonderful two night stay in Room 301. The room was quiet, large, and clean. The bed was comfortable and the staff were friendly. They even mopped the entire bathroom during our stay and sprayed our linens with a nice relaxing fragrance. The location can't be beat.

I seem to disagree with other reviewers about this hotel. It was our least favorite during our two week trip to Greece. First of all, the pictures on their website are definitely airbrushed or out of date. Our room looked great online but very tired in reality. Everything needs a refresh, especially the very old bathroom. Cleaning also needs improvement. The bed is a mystery - wood corners stick out so far that I hit my shin at least for times. They also don’t give you a duvet; it’s a very thin top sheet only and I froze during the night at the height of summer. You can hear everything in this hotel - it’s old so there’s poor sound insulation. This was fine the first night, but not so great the second night when a huge tour bus arrived and the hotel was full. Breakfast was fine but nothing special. There’s also no coffee maker in the room. On the plus side, the location is fantastic and the ladies working at reception were very nice.

Lovely small hotel with wonderful staff
Very big nice room (family room with separate seating area with sofa bed), old fashioned furniture, high ceiling, spacious. Really lovely kind and helpful staff - all of them were wonderful. Complimentary use of towels for beach and bottles of water. Lovely breakfast. Lovely (tiny) pool. Great location on edge of town and close to town beach/swimming area.
A few negatives - Ground floor with some noise from road and no view. Bathroom very small, and no outdoor space to sit or even dry swimming clothes.

Extremely friendly staff, very clean beautiful rooms, perfect location. The pool is tiny so don't really count on it, however it can be handy if you don't want to move to the beach. The rooms are very nice, ours was very small but still beautiful, although they look like they could do some renovation. Overall a beautiful hotel with extremely friendly staff.

Amazing boutique hotel, few steps away from the water. Gallery of restaurants within few minutes from the hotel. Homemade amazing breakfast. Probably one of the nicests hotels we stayed in during our two weeks in Greece.
