Sunshine Hotel Lardos in Lardos

A nice place to spend 10 days but with quite a few things to improve. There was some issues with the initially allocated room but that was sorted immediately, thank god. The family running the place is very friendly but some of the staff had a bit of a weird attitude which I found like I was not in Greece but somewhere else. The breakfast was the poorest I ever had in 10 years visiting this lovely country but they made me happy with a few fruits every morning. Location is very quiet and central on the island. The pool area was the highlight. With a little effort on the rooms (not even a bedside lamp? come on!) and friendly service, this could be a great place. Overall was a good stay but definitely did not exceed the expectation and the standards I'm used to.

Super nice hotel run by a family. The owner was friendly, like all the other workers. We usually ate the lunch at the pool and it was delicious. Specially the Greek salad, tsatsiki and gyros. We also ate dinner at the hotel and it was also delicious. Pistachio baklava was like a piece of art.

Excellent value hotel with great staff in a great location. Just had food at the restaurant and it was amazing, absolutely 5 star all the way. I doubt you find better on Rhodos. Genuinely an excellent venue and stay. Thank you Poppi and team 😎

Stayed here for a week and for a 2 star hotel it was great, nice room , great pool area, the hotels restaurant served fantastic food. The only criticism is the same as other people have mentioned is the breakfast, it was adequate but would be better if they had just a little more variety. But overall it was great value for money and Christina the receptionist was wonderful and very helpful.

Another perfect stay at this superb hotel. Family run, nothing is too much trouble for them, so helpful and friendly. Rooms spotlessly clean, beds so comfy. Rooms very modern and airy with great balcony views.
Pool area so peaceful and clean with plenty of sunbeds for everyone.
Bar area so relaxing and the best cocktails made by Steve. Perfect location for going into Pefkos or Lardos. Breakfast is also lovely, the freshest bread and eggs were a daily must. Thank you to everyone at the Sunshine, we will be back.

Lovely family run hotel. Very clean and rooms were very modern. The beds super comfy - the best I've slept in in Greece. Only downside was a bit noisy as on a main road but nothing much the owners can do about that. Would return and maybe ask for a room at the back.

Fabulous. A little gem. Very friendly and most welcoming family owned hotel. Poppy makes you feel right at home. Very clean rooms and the food in the restaurant is amazing. Will definitely recommend and we would return without hesitation.
