Aethrio Sunset Village Hotel in Oia

It’s one of the most beautiful properties I’ve visited abroad and with the best location in Oia. Fabulous large rooms, an amazing swimming pool, our daughter’s room had a private roof top from where we could catch spectacular sunset views!
Talking about the location, it’s literally 5 min walk to the famous photo spots near the blue domes and the bustling streets.
But, we did face some problems which I wish to point out. The freezer door in our room was squeezed in a corner and just wouldn’t open! Also in some rooms there is a flat step near the entrance which being the same colour as the rest of the floor has the tendency to make people trip and fall. Also the breakfast could have some more options.

This was the most beautiful terrace of a room I’ve ever stayed in. I don’t know if we got lucky or if their standard rooms all have a huge 360 degree terrace overlooking the main plaza AND the ocean on both sides. We saw the sunrise on one end of the terrace and the sunset on another. The service was also great as was the included breakfast. Will definitely stay here when we come back to oia Santorini

This hotel is absolutely beautiful. Everything is as advertised, and is meticulously clean. The pool area is a favorite, with plenty of loungers and seating. This is the best place to view the Oia sunset. There are two sunset viewing areas, but we were able to sit on our balcony and watch from there. The people working there were very warm and welcoming, and they were very helpful when needed. The hotel doesn't have an elevator, but they do have porters to help with your bags, which is greatly appreciated! The hotel is in the perfect area, with all tourist attractions and amazing restaurants within walking distance. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone, you won't be disappointed!

Loved our stay here. The room was crazy spacious and clean. Pool is well maintained. Plenty of outdoor seating to just relax. Super convenient to the whole village of Oia. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly and the daily breakfast was top notch. The rooftop is perfect for sunset views. Highly recommended

Beautiful little hotel nestled in the middle of Oia, with three convenient entrances taking you out in different directions. Breakfast was great, the service was superb, and the pool area was lovely, so peaceful and serene. The room was cosy, but aptly equipped. The WiFi wasn't great though and was patchy in the bedroom. Had a lovely stay all in all!

This is a lovely B&B Hotel in the heart of Oia. The staff were wonderfully helpful, friendly and welcoming.
Upon arrival, we were greeted in reception by a fantastically friendly chap, given some apple juice, and shown a map of Oia and the island. This was really helpful to get us settled and oriented.
We were given the most amazing double suite (number 18) which has the sunset terrace on the roof (see photo's for the sort of beauty you can expect). The suite itself had a gorgeous traditional greek open lounge, bedroom and large bathroom.
Complimentary water in the fridge, large bottle just 1 Euro from reception.
Breakfast is also traditional greek and local delicacies are made each morning to enjoy.
The pool area is beautiful and also has great views as the hotel is on the North slope of Oia.
These people really care about their hotel and their guests, on hand to help whenever you need them.

Stayed for 3 nights, lovely 2 bedroom apartment, fantastic sunset views, great location, kind and helpful staff with good spoken English, limited breakfast but it’s still a 5 star for the price

Really nice hotel, has a real vintage santorini feel to it with classic furniture and layout of the apartments, staff were so friendly and helpful throughout our stay.
Really clean and spacious rooms, pool area was nice, very few sun loungers though.
Perfect locations in the heart of Oia, five minute walk to all sunset restaurants and bars.
