Artemis Village in Karterados

As long as you have a car, property is convenient. Not the best but you get what you pay for, especially for Santorini. Photos shown in ******* are not exactly same and condition us not the best. There are overhead planes taking off and landing, so a little noisy.
Would recommend the owners invest in power backup. We lost power one night which was manageable but the water supply also got cut which was extremely inconvenient.

The trip began with being told that I couldn’t get an airport pickup because of my flights arrival time. I booked here because of that feature, but when I called to confirm my arrival time, I was told they don’t do pick ups between 3pm and 7:30pm. Which was disappointing. So I had to get a taxi from the airport which cost me €25.
My welcome was very warm and the lady host gave me all the info I would need for a pleasant stay on the island.
I was again disappointed to learn that instead of my apartment being close to the very lovely on-site pool, I was in another block which was further down the road.
The apartment itself was lovely. Very clean and spacious.
However the aircon did not work.
I had a partial sea view, but I mostly saw sand and gravel from the balcony.
There is no restaurant, so getting food was not exactly easy.
There was the option to order in which I didn’t mind. The was a sea view bar a few mins walk away but the options are very limited for vegans/vegetarians. And 20 mins walk away, there is a ‘supermarket’ which had most things one could need on holiday.
Overall I enjoyed my stay as the pool was lovely and the loungers were nice.
And I got a pick up to take me back to the airport at the end of my trip.
I wouldn’t return, but that is just because I would want to be in an area with more dining options.
