We visited Santorini recently with 10 other family members for our niece's wedding. El Greco was our hotel of choice. Great decision!! Generally it's a beautiful place. The room is awesome, the pools and plants. The only minuses are: nothing special for breakfast (like in a typical 3-4 star hotel) and the pools not heated (not even one)

Wonderful hotel and service was great. Easy walk to shops 10 mins. Bar service at pool and Esmerelda was great. Breakfast not so good, food not hot e.g. bacon eggs etc. Location was excellent

Traveling with two kids, we really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are clean, and the location is excellent ,  less than a 10-minute walk to Fira and the bus stop. The breakfast was also good. The only downside was that the staff were quite rude and not very friendly, which was disappointing considering how nice everything else was.

The resort itself is lovely, but the view from our room was of a wall. No one at reception spoke Italian, and the sweet options at breakfast were disappointing.

Hotel has large, spacious room, and depending where you are located you are very close to one of the many pools the hotel has to offer. Breakfast was great - Michelle (or Melissa) was a star; she brought my partner honey ginger and lemon every morning to help with her sore throat. We had a great sea and beach view from our room. Beautiful hotel right in the heart of Kamari. Kid friendly, with kind and helpful staff. Breakfast in the mornings was delicious, with so many options to choose from. Great hotel, friendly staff, great rooms, great beds, low pressure water in the showers, great massage, great pools and nearby beach, very good breakfast. There was an island power outage but the hotel owns a power generator which allowed for some power to exist, better than nothing. There is noise from passing airplanes, but you get used to it, it doesn't bother at night. Good gym. Recommended!

Fabulous hotel, exactly what you would expect from a 5 star hotel in Santorini. Breakfast was fresh with many options. We stayed in room 204, with a beautiful balcony view of the Aegean Sea. Yanni, the front desk manager was wonderful, and very helpful. This was our first time overseas and Aqua Blue definitely made it an amazing vacation!

Got the senior villa and the view was not as good we thought of the caldera. The lack of view of caldera was a huge disappointment for the price. The villa was large and clean. The bathrooms and rooms were large. Full kitchen available except there is no microwave. It is not easy to get around or carry luggage around. There was a restaurant above us and it can get loud. Having read some of these reviews I was a bit concerned about having to get up early for sunbeds. I shouldn't have worried. For my second night, there was flushing water sound every hour from mid night, each time last for 10 min, make me awake whole night. I complain this to the manerger in the morning, instead of apologize, he said, why did you call as, we will move you to another room. Not recomendee . It’s normal resort nothing special you even not feeling you are in Santorini because the location is far away and you need car to go to the center. Taxi is very expensive there. They said online that they have free shuttle to center but when I ask they said we don’t have shuttle but when I said it’s written online they said we have but it’s 5 pm . it was just at 5 pm and it’s picking...

I really like the hotel environment. The small balcony in the room has a great view. The service is very good. The swimming pool is beautiful. You can sit in a chair by the pool to bask in the sun, drink tea, and daydream. It is suitable for friends to spend a vacation.

I really loved the hotel's ambiance. It was recommended by a friend in Greece, and I hope to bring my family here for vacation next year. Traveled with 75 year old mother who doesn't do stairs well so this was an obvious concern traveling to Santorini. This hotel was perfect for us! Recently stayed here with my sister. Ordered a Caesar salad with Parmesan during lunch and the Parmesan had mold on it. The kitchen said that is normal and it’s just the salad. By far the best burger I've ever had during my 33 years on this planet we call earth! The patty was super juicy and perfectly grilled, again, the best burger I've had! I'm unfortunately unable to recall the name of the cocktail, but that as well was incredibly good! All in all, most bang for the bucks, just a really great place with attentive and respectful staff!

My husband and I spent our honeymoon at this hotel and it was an incredible experience. The room was adequate, the food wasn’t bad although the staff had nothing better to do but make things up that it’s unsafe for us to drink or eat around the pool area unless food or drinks were purchased onsite. Kept being watched upon and made feel uncomfortable. It’s been my second time staying here and it’s changed for the worst as the staff mentioned things have changed in the last year.

This is a beautiful resort and the staff is attentive. However, it is a 20 minute walk into the shops of. OIA. This is next to impossible during the day as it is extremely hot shuttles are $25 for a five minute ride. I feel this should be offered to the guest free of charge. Other than that it’s a beautiful resort.
