We stayed at this hotel just days before our wedding, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. The staff were exceptional—special thanks to the reception team: Victoria, Maria, Peni, Mariflora, and Kostas, who went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable.

The hotel is perfectly located on the main street just before Fira, with a scenic 10–15 minute walk along a beautiful path overlooking the Caldera. Free parking was a great bonus, and the entire property was impeccably clean and well maintained.

We loved the on-site restaurant, enjoyed a delicious breakfast each morning, and made good use of the well-equipped gym. But what truly stood out was the service—every request was handled promptly, and any issue was resolved within minutes.

Highly recommended for anyone visiting Santorini. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay during such a special time.

For my second night, there was flushing water sound every hour from mid night, each time last for 10 min, make me awake whole night. I complain this to the manerger in the morning, instead of apologize, he said, why did you call as, we will move you to another room. I think it is not practical to change the room when things all over the room at 1 am.
This is amoemmorable night at De Sol hotel

Excellent hotel with great service
Right on the main street before Fira, about a 10-15 minute walk along a walking path with amazing views of the Caldera, free parking, the entire hotel is exceptionally well maintained and clean, excellent restaurant, good breakfast, wonderfully equipped gym, and above all - amazing service from all the staff, Every request and every problem was answered within minutes.

Wonderful oasis in a bustling beautiful island! The hotel is beautiful clean and the staff are wonderful. They are kind, very friendly and cannot do enough for their guests! The pool is a great place to relax and spend a lazy day! Food is delicious with a great breakfast! Will return

Not recomendee . It’s normal resort nothing special you even not feeling you are in Santorini because the location is far away and you need car to go to the center. Taxi is very expensive there. They said online that they have free shuttle to center but when I ask they said we don’t have shuttle but when I said it’s written online they said we have but it’s 5 pm . it was just at 5 pm and it’s picking you up at 8 pm . I booked executive villa with private pool and called them before I book and asked them if the pool is heated and they confirmed. But when I arrived the pool wasn’t heated and they said the heated pool just in the bigger villa . I booked again villa with heated pool and paid extra money $100 but the pool was not heated. They control the heat. Breakfast was excellent . Not recommended

Super clean and comfortable hotel that is close to Fira shops and all major attractions in Santorini. Breakfast and dinner are great. Highly recommended.

Great stay at De Sol, everything in our room looks new and the amenities are amazing! We were warmly welcomed by the staff at the hotel who were so amazing to allow us to check in slightly earlier. Room was huge with a sofa and sufficient amenities. The buffet breakfast was also great with a good range of food!

Serve food that looks like it’s been a few days

They say you can't use the sauna spa in winter because it's closed.
I think I should take a sauna in the summer.

It's a bit far from Thira. It's a 40-minute walk.

It's my fault that my English skills are poor, but the staff made me feel bad.
The hotel itself is clean and the breakfast is delicious.
Please note that the shuttle service does not seem to be available during the winter.
