4 star hotels in Volos

The hotel is located just 5-10 minutes walk above the lovely village of Portaria. From most of the rooms you have a splendid view over the bay and city of Volos which can be accessed only by car in about 30 minutes along a windy but scenic road. The hotel is divided into several houses with no central hallway. Therefore you have to walk along the parking site in front of the hotel in order to access...

Very nice hotel with friendly and helpful staff and convenient rooms. Nice outdoor pool and space for kids to play. There is a balcony with a beautiful view in the dining hall, we enjoyed our breakfasts there. Located not far from the village center.

My partner and I stayed at this hotel in what appeared to the off season as it was very quiet. The hotel was clean and well maintained. Staff were kind and helpful durning all interactions. There was plenty of options at breakfast and service was great. The on site parking was a welcome change from other hotels in the area. Overall it was a great hotel and I would recommend staying there.

Great location, nice facilities, friendly staff

Absolutely wonderful experience! Property was gorgeous and clean. Had multiple options for breakfast. Had a beautiful dining area and an in-house bar. Air conditioner worked very well, and the rooms were quite spacious. Area was very nice as there was much to see and do within walking distance. Would recommend and go again!

Wonderful hotel in Beautiful and cozy Portaria. Nice space in the rooms very good breakfast. Nice and clean pool. Very polite and helpful staff. In The village portaria wich is a walk of 7 min a lots of restaurantas... Can really recommend. I stayed for 3 nights.

Such an incredible service overall. They helped me arrange taxi to the airport without any trouble. Breakfast was decent and rooms were very spacious!

A beautiful and well preserved building in the most central location possible - just across the main port of Volos (parking available there). The rooms were fully equipped and clean. Loved the breakfast options! Staff friendly and accommodating!

Aegli Palace: A Modern Gem in Volos Aegli Palace is a contemporary hotel in Volos that seamlessly blends comfort and style. Its prime location, just steps away from the bustling port and city center, makes it an ideal choice for both business and leisure travelers. What We Loved: * Modern and Stylish: The hotel's sleek design and contemporary furnishings create a chic and inviting atmosphere. * Comfortable...

Hotel is lovely. An old building that has been renovated. Rooms are clean and modern. With a lot of details to amenities. Rooms are a bit small, there isn’t much space to open up luggage. Breakfast is good with a decent variety. Perfect location if you need to catch the ferry in the morning. Literally 100m from the harbour. For parking there is a private paid parking just opposite the hotel.

We spent one night waiting for our ferry to Skiathos since it is conveniently placed close to the port. The staff were very kind and welcoming. They also provided advice on where to park our vehicle. The room was very clean and the hotel had plenty of available towels. The bed was soft and comfortable with soft pillows and a thin blanket. Our room was provided with air conditioning, slippers and a cable...

The hotel is located right in front of the port, where you can leave the car (hotel guests pay 10€ per day at the moment) and enjoy Volos on foot. All the small details in the room made it perfect for a single traveler or a couple. The room had a small balcony with vie of the city and the mountains. The night view of Makrinitsa is fabulous. Although we were overlooking a busy street the room was quite...

Excellent stay, friendly staff, nice pool for a quick dive, sufficient breakfast, private parking, clean room! We"ll be back...!!

We stayed 3 nights at the resort and the staff was very nice and helpful. The rooms were very clean and we had a very comfortable stay.

I liked the traditional look, the service and the view. Hard for me to go up all the stairs because of my disabilities, next time I will ask a room with no balcony, they don't have stairs. In general I enjoy my stay. I was expecting a more traditional Greek breakfast with Greek cheese,Greek yogurt from small farms, Greek butter and handmade spinach pie. People very friendly and try to overcome difficulties

Great hotel in a cosy quiet place. Great View and romantic atmosphere. The breakfast was good but it needs improvement

We have stayed there for 3 nights, the stuff were super nice and answered every request with a smile. The breakfast buffet was very good with many different options.

We spent 2 nights at the Pelion Resort and it was very good. The rooms are big, with a good bathroom and good bed. They have a very good pool (I enjoyed all day!) and their service is very friendly and kind. Everything we needed, they were ready to provide. Also very good breakfast. We would return for sure!

Very nice place, unique atmosphere, picturesque view, polite and helpful staff, tasty breakfast. Would definitely recommend.

Bed was pretty hard and barking dogs all night but the town and premises were very nice.

We LOVED this area. My husband voted our stay here his very favorite place we went in the three weeks that we spent traveling around Greece and the islands!

The breakfast is very good. The hotel is maintained on the high level. The staff are extremely nice. We stayed in the suites (2 families) and had no hot water in the shower at any time of the day. Other than that all was good

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our accommodations were a separate beautiful cottage on the property with two floors and balcony. Parking was behind a gate, but you had to exit your car to enter the code to open the gate.

Excellent room with a fireplace, central heating and all amenities (including wood for the fire) included. Very pleasant staff and great breakfast. Parking included and very nice central location.

Fantastic property, right in the middle of town across from the docks. Restaurants are walkable, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the food and drinks at the rooftop bar are fantastic! The staff knew everything about us after the second day, and we looked forward to starting and ending our day with Costas pn the rooftop.

We stay here whenever we have to spend a night in Volos. Very comfortable, super clean, very friendly staff and always helpful. The included fooftop breakfast is a gear way to kick off your day. The room interior is not as traditional as you might expect but more on the modern side.

I went there to have a late night coffee. The view was amazing and we eventually took a hot chocolate, which was quite bitter but nice and a hot green tea, which tasted awful... (they should peek a better tea quality). The service was very nice and the view was also beautiful as well as the decoration of the coffee place - quite modern

Me and my daughter were guests for 3 nights at this wonderful hotel. I decided to celebrate my name day in Volos and especially at 1910 Lifestyle hotel. Our stay was more than lovely. All the amenities are superb. The cleanliness is at highest level. The brand they use for the hand wash in the rooms' bathrooms is incredible. Furthermore, I have asked at reception where I can buy it from. 😉🙂😊 The food...

From the moment I stepped in, I could tell this hotel was something special. The design is modern and effortlessly stylish — exactly my vibe — and everything was spotlessly clean. The location? Perfect. You can step out and be right in the heart of the city, yet still enjoy a sense of calm when you’re inside. The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely kind, which made me feel instantly at home....

It’s a lovely cafe on a roof of the hotel which opens a view to the sea and mountains! A great place to work and enjoy the atmosphere of the city. As for the menu, you can find good healthy alternatives for lunch or dinner. Prices are not too high, and the personal is quite friendly.

I visited Volos for a day and decided to go to this hotel, here's my experience. I asked for a room with two single beds but they gave me a room with one single bed instead without informing us about the change. The parking lot was so tiny and miserable that at one point we decided to park outside because of how hard it was to park there. The room was fine. the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was...

Everything was amazing except the loud noises from the heating or central air conditioning ? at night, had to wear ear plugs to sleep

The hotel was convenient to the train station and Hertz. It is on the edge of the lovely walkway along the sea. The beds were two singles pushed together, not very comfortable. It was clean and a bit dated. The breakfast was adequate.

A nice hotel with helpful staff not far from the wonderful waterfront district.

Everything was amazing, I strongly recommend this place to anyone. I would not stay anywhere else ! Φανταστικό μέρος! Καθαρό, ευγενικό προσωπικό, ωραία φαγητά, όλα τέλεια!!!!! The hotel is in within walking distance to the port into different cafeterias.

For a brief one night stay on the way home from Greece it worked well. It's a predictably good modern 21stC hotel overlooking a small park and the port. Decently sized rooms with comfy beds, a chair or two, functional a/c and a bathroom with a (stumpy) bath. The b+b breakfast was good and the place is within easy walking distance of a bunch of small traditional restaurants. Free car parking is available...

It was very nice. They had plenty of parking. Room service was quick. Breakfast was pretty good.

Nice view, good breakfast, ,lovely hotel

The hotel was ok although the bathroom in our room is in need of serious renovation. In our room there was no kettle and cups like the room next door. When we asked about it they said its because the other room was at a different category! The pool should have been heated due to low temperatures. The breakfast was good.

Excellent service from the staff, wonderful views of the mountains and town below, great morning breakfast. The only thing that lowered the rating was the beds were extremely hard and the air conditioner didn’t keep the rooms cool. Although, these are common findings in Greece. Would stay there again.

Nestled in the breathtaking embrace of Pilio mountain, Xenia Hotel redefines the meaning of a luxurious getaway. From the moment you arrive, it’s clear that every detail has been thoughtfully curated to create an unforgettable experience.

We in December as a couple really enjoyed the area, view and hotel. I knew it was an older built hotel but therefore knew it would have more spacious rooms and higher ceilings and parking. It was better than we expected with helpful staff.Breakfast and restaurant ver good nearby with good vibe and food. Can walk to village center also. As there is lots of traffic in the mountains at this time its good...

Best place to stay in portaria!!The service is so professional, the rooms are out o this world and the breakfast is with local traditional products.Very clean rooms, beautiful view,We got upgraded to a better room so kind from this gem hotel.Keep guys the good work!!!A magical place to stay for your vacation!!!!

The hotel is good and our stay was pleasant. For the price of it though, I would definitely expect a better breakfast. The road to get to the hotel is a tiny/tight street with big stones that is unsafe. We parked the car and didn't want to move it again because it was scary. They really need to put a traffic light or offer help from the hotel.

19/06-22/06 Very cosy hotel very polite people very convenient spot in the town of Myconos!Great breakfast very quiet!!The staff was very professional and friendly!Always at our disposal!Thank you all!See you soon!I have already made recommendations to my friends

The location was great. The staff were exceptional. Friendly and eager to help out with anything. Very easy going atmosphere.

Nice spot with a lovely breakfast, parking is for the brave or someone from Greece :)

Very friendly and helpful staff.

This hotel is discreetly located in a very secluded alley in the town center, with a small parking lot at the entrance. You just need to boldly drive in from the alley entrance. The hotel rooms are spacious and clean, and the rooms on the back of the second floor have large balconies where you can enjoy the sunrise in the morning, gaze at the church bell tower on the opposite hillside, or watch the...

Beline hotel is one of the best of its peers. Very comfortable room and mattresses with a nice view and reasonably size bathroom. Nice, fresh selection at breakfast. Plenty of parking and excellent location. Clean, well maintained facility with a friendly team.

Beline hotel is one of the best of it’s peers. Very comfortable room and mattresses. Nice, fresh selection at breakfast. Clean, well maintained with a friendly team.

We loved our stay in Belina hotel in December. The room was very clean, cozy and warm with a fireplace! The bed was very comfortable. Excellent service, the owners are very kind and accommodating ensuring that we have everything we need. Big advantage the parking in the heart of Portaria! I fully recommend it!

After spending 5 nights in Thessaloniki and 4 around Bulgaria, it was with great joy that we arrived here. If we had know just how wonderful it was, we would have stayed longer. Not only was the village absolutely charming, but the hotel was just what you would imagine for a beautiful family-run inn in the mountains of Greece. Elias was a fantastic host and he gave us the best tips. The room was comfortable...

everything was great. when you enter to hotel you will be having warm welcoming of mr Ilias. you sent me something good on change I don't know, but this would can find whatever you need in the room. the size of the room is good and the temperature of the room is also good. you feel like you are at home. the only bad thing is there is a smell when you enter to hotel. thank you for everything

I recently held my book presentation at this hotel. I cannot express enough my gratitude for the service and the cooperation! I want to thank the staff and the manager for going the extra mile to make this happen. Thank you!

Very friendly staff. Mant thanks Xenia, who made us feel home. Their breakfast is nice and comprehensive. It is located very close to the center and many cafes. I recommend it.

The hotel is nice but need a renovation. The air conditioning in the rooms doesn't function proper. The breakfast is very good, while breakfast you may order Greek coffee also for free. Beach is in 15 min walk distance. Ask the room with the view to the sea. It is very strange for us that the hotel building has an oil gas station inside it from the main street side.

Loved this hotel and the people! Will visit again soon!

It is in the city, on the seafront, with a nice park in front of it. Very convenient. Nice breakfast, clean room with amenities provided. On the other hand, it’s facilities need some refresh.

Quite and clean!friendly and hospitable employees and the cleaning ladies always with a smile! tv in the room not that good descent breakfast! not a single reason not to come back! 4 night's stay!

Valeni Hotel is a perfect choice for every possible season. Our experience during July was amazing. Rooms, view, breakfast, facilities and staff are all super professional, kind and always at your disposal. We also hosted our wedding at the amazing balcony of the hotel, facing Volos city and Makrinitsa village as well. Everything was on time, well organised, and most importantly, punctually executed...

A Truly Exceptional Stay – Highly Recommended! We had the most wonderful experience staying at this hotel as a family of five (with kids aged 16, 14, and 9). From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth and care. The hotel itself is stunning, elegant yet comfortable, with thoughtful design details that truly elevate the atmosphere. Every space feels intentional and beautifully...

Unique design, full of beautiful pieces of art, situated in a quiet and serene atmosphere! Staff is amazing! Friendly and effective! Breakfast was excellent!! I honestly cannot say enough!!

We had the absolute pleasure of staying at Valeni Boutique Hotel in Volos, and I can confidently say it was one of the most exceptional hospitality experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded expectations. The breakfast buffet each morning was a true delight — fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. It set the tone for each day with the perfect blend of local flavor...

Beautiful hotel with extremely helpful staff, the room was nice with a private balcony and big shower. The pool and pool bar were wonderful with amazing views of Volos harbor and sunsets. Breakfast buffet was probably the best I remember from any hotel I've been to- they make all of the pastries, cakes, and local specialty items in house- the honey balls and custard cakes were delicious

Valeni is a beautiful gem of a hotel in Greece! The most comfortable beds and pillows, the warm welcoming atmosphere, the views, the crackling fire with the twinkling lights looking over the view of Volos - all unbeatable! But the best of all are the staff led by their amazing manager Angeliki. You can tell everyone enjoys their job and this is a rare find not just in Greece but anywhere these days...
