Breakfasts were exceptional with a big variety of foods including fresh fruits, excellent coffee and juices. The central conditioning was working properly even on tropical temperatures. The hotel staff was super nice

This resort offered a truly relaxing escape. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the surroundings were beautiful, and the service was excellent throughout the stay.

Avoid The room was ordinary. Agria is a beautiful town.

Nearby beaches has blue flag award for water cleanliness and other 32 criterias. Parking is spacious and the garden is lovely. The hotel is beachfront but instead of the beach, it has a floating platform

We decided to celebrate New Years Eve in Valis Resort. As far as I am concerned it is the best Resort ever. The staff is very polite and smiling. The junior suite very big, two rooms, two bathrooms

Comfortable beds, mattress and pillows. The cleaners experts willing to help. The buffet was large with a variety of flavors. The waitress were polite and helpful. Last but not least the Valis Spa

Gym, hot tub, and sauna use was all free. Resteraunt was pretty decent as well. They also offer massages but they need to be scheduled. Overall, a fun, semi- luxurious place to stay in the city!

Had a great view with a nice patio. Room is simple but practical. Was the only visitor at the pool which was enormous and plenty of sun loungers and umbrellas

Beach was small and rocky but folks were using and enjoying a swims Dinner at the restaurant was nice, the orzo pasta was delish and the cherry cheesecake omg so good! Overall a solid choice in Volos with ample parking and an easy walk into the main town

Lovely place in Volos. Easy to approach with big parking. Nice SPA and beautiful garden by the sea with very good coffee and sweets.

Hotel established in perfect location. Probably best sea view, amazing open buffet breakfast. But hotel is old my dear friends, furnitures old, carpets old, need to redecorate

The breakfast is excellent and the restaurant, while not innovative, is solid and certainly up there with your in-town options

Swimming pool and fitness room cost an extra charge of 15,- EUR per day and sauna another 10,- EUR per person on top. Therefore we never saw people using it and this seems to be intended

The hotel is divided into several houses with no central hallway. Therefore you have to walk along the parking site in front of the hotel in order to access the wellness area

We had a spacious junior suite with our own fire place. But when we lit the fire, the whole room was full of smoke despite a closed glas fire door

Different people were not very helpful and we always had the impression that they were glad when we did not bother them with questions

The personnel at the reception seems not be prepared for foreigners even though they spoke English quite reasonably

It seemed that others had the same problem since the room smelled already smoky on the day of our arrival

Great location, quite, in the woods, great view, very nice environment, spacious rooms, very clean. The pool is a great plus, you can swim during the day and you can enjoy cocktails and drinks by the pool at night

We stayed 3 nights at the resort and the staff was very nice and helpful. The rooms were very clean and we had a very comfortable stay.

The breakfast has everything you need and is served until late. The hotel offers also a good variety of food all day long, which is also a great plus. There is also a jacuzzi - we did not use it though

Excellent stay, friendly staff, nice pool for a quick dive, sufficient breakfast, private parking, clean room! We"ll be back...!!

A small kids playground is available and I think there is also a small football court. Pet friendly to those how are interested. The owner and the staff are very kind and helpful in every way they can

I liked the traditional look, the service and the view. Hard for me to go up all the stairs because of my disabilities, next time I will ask a room with no balcony, they don't have stairs

Very good looking room, very clean, great staff, and a very cozy Christmas environment; what else could you ask for around December? The lobby is a place to have a seat and enjoy a book or in case you have to work, take your laptop/tablet and be productive

Great place to relax and visit Pelion and Volos. Fantastic restaurants in walking distance in Portaria. Nice pool and good breakfast buffet. Would come back!

We in December as a couple really enjoyed the area, view and hotel. I knew it was an older built hotel but therefore knew it would have more spacious rooms and higher ceilings and parking

As there is lots of traffic in the mountains at this time its good to plan to get going before 10am to any destination

The spa was an added enjoyment so I believe after researching price vs amenities I give it top marks!

We had the so called “honeymoon suite”, a spacious room with a large terrace and also a jacuzzi, and, following the Covid rules, we had the opportunity to enjoy the hotel spa just for ourselves

The rroms are awesome. The service is excellent. The breakfast, amazing! The people of the hotel, very polite and helpful. There are also a sauna and a hamam (with artificial steam) included in price!

The space between the bed & the wall on one side was very small and the curtain reached to the floor, so it was very difficult to pass through, especially at night if you need to go to the bathroom

The staff made sure we got feed and kept us informed about the situation with the rain even though they were not taking care of their homes that were being damaged by the storm

Beautiful, atmospheric and clean hotel in a central but quiet location with a great view. The services are good and the staff is friendly. We haven't got the chance to experience the spa yet

When we arrived in Makrinitsa we were meet by Vlasis who guided us where to park our car, then assisted us with our luggage as he guided us to the Hotel giving us a small tour along the way, when we arrived at Melanthi we were greeted by Kiki with a welcome drink and conversation it was as if we have known Kiki and Vlasis for years

Superfriendly owners, excellent views of the city of Volos, many breakfast items, within steps of the main square with trees that are hundreds of years old, a sight to behold....

We also experienced a level of care that goes far beyond expectations: our son accidentally left behind a pair of very expensive shoes with custom orthopedic insoles and Kiki personally transferred them to friends of ours staying at another hotel 20 minutes away

This is everything we could not dream of in a holiday accommodation and location. The moment we walked in, we felt very welcome. The place is beautiful, very well looked after, very clean and has a nice atmosphere
