Valentina Guesthouse in Budapest

Good location as its right in Budapest center. Around 6-7 mins walk to the metro station.
However, the place is quite small and not in the best re cleanliness especially the bathroom. My room is room no 1 which is ok in term of size for an apartment with a big window but since its in the street, it was really really noisy throughout the night when the rubbish collectors worked at night and people having fun. Oh and you can hear the noise from your adjacent rooms too. I couldnt sleep at all for that night. Lucky I only stay here for 1 night.
One good thing is the owner let you store the luggage if needed.

I payed for a bedroom with its own bathroom, and there was 4 room with one bathroom. Morning I cant sleep because of the noise. Not recommended.

Avoid!
- Unbearable cigarette smoke smell. The smell seemed to have mainly come from the guest staying in the room next to us. The walls also have absorbed the smoke of what seemed to be years of smoking inside. To make things worse, my wife (who also stayed with me in the room) was pregnant at the time.
- paper thin walls. We heard everything that the other guests were doing and the street was noisy as well.
- very unprofessional, unhelpful, rude host
We haven't gotten any sleep that night we stayed here.
