Spa-Hotels in Budapest

Stepping in was a pleasant surprise! Such a beautiful hotel and a gorgeous room, with the enchanting Danube at night right outside the window. Truly lives up to the Marriott name – I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Budapest.

Location very nice, river view, Staff very warmful with great services. Buffet Breakfast very nice too, just need earlier wake up, otherwise long Q in line. Room very good with perfect view

Nice hotel at the Marriott Budapest that is located in city centre, good offerings and amenities in general - even offers the near Christmas markets directions

A clean and nicely located hotel with excellent river view. The rooms spacious, regrettably without a bath tub.

Before my trip, I spent ages looking for accommodation in Budapest, constantly debating whether to stay in Buda or Pest. I finally decided on the Marriott in the Pest district, and it truly was the perfect choice! ✔️✔️✔️ 🤩 Most of the main tourist attractions are in the Pest area. From the Marriott, it's super close to St. Stephen's Basilica, the Parliament Building, Liberty Bridge, and the Central...

The hotel boasts a prime location on the Pest side of the Danube, offering stunning views of Buda Castle and the river. Most major attractions are just a 1-2 km walk away, or a quick taxi ride. The hotel breakfast was also great, and the doormen provided excellent service. While the riverfront is vibrant with music and many bars, the hotel's soundproof windows effectively block out any noise, so you...

Excellent hotel location, very comfortable stay. The gym was a pleasant surprise.

Kempinski hotels are consistently good, as always. The front desk staff provided enthusiastic service, and there was always plenty of water. My trip through Europe showed me that there are indeed differences between hotels, but overall, this one was excellent! Thumbs up.

Clean, tidy, and a superb location. I recommend it.

Great location, very close to where you can take Danube river cruises, and there's a Christmas market nearby, which creates a festive atmosphere. The staff are friendly and the room is spacious. The only downside is that the price was a bit high when booked for New Year's Eve.

Everything about our stay was wonderful and relaxing. The location is very convenient, and the hotel itself is spotless. The amenities include Diptyque products, and the service was superb. It's definitely a hotel I'd love to stay at again if I have the chance.

I found the hotel and staff exceptional. Well located and easily accessible

Intercontinental hotel was amazing. Service, check in was straight off no waiting. Food in bar was lovely and served till late. Reserve a river View room amazing views of the castle the bridge. If I was being picky bed clothes a bir light we went in February and requested extra blanket. Its a bit expensive but honestly we'll worth it when you see the other hotels around you. We will be back with...

The hotel's location is excellent, within walking distance of the Parliament Building, and very convenient for all major city attractions. The family view room offers beautiful scenery with stunning river views, especially enchanting at night. We will definitely return to this hotel after our trips to Austria and the Czech Republic!

Staying at this hotel made our experience of Budapest even more enjoyable. It's strategically located and the staffs are friendly. Although the hotel is a bit old, it's still very well maintained and clean.

The hotel is a bit old, but its location is excellent. The staff's service was decent, and the breakfast offered a good variety. The view from the window of Buda Castle was absolutely stunning.

Everything was great. I informed them that I was coming to celebrate my anniversary and the hotel gave me a surprise. The location is great and the view is very beautiful.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, but the highlight was definitely the view. From my window, I could see the majestic Buda Castle and the river — a truly stunning sight both during the day and beautifully lit at night. It made my stay feel extra special and memorable. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Budapest who wants a mix of comfort and...

it was really nice of the staff, especially when they heard that it was cold in the room and the heater didn't work very well, the staff sent someone to fix it and gave us an extra heater! He was really nice and friendly. Breakfast was also good.

Extremely close to the train station yet surprisingly quiet, this hotel is a must-stay for anyone traveling by train in Hungary. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the heating was excellent, a welcome warmth in winter that was a pleasant surprise as it was the only room with a radiator during my two-week European trip. I was very satisfied. Breakfast offered a good variety, including an Asian...

Room was spacious but male staff and people we don’t know tried to come into our room. Their is a little balcony -＞ very noisy road siren sounds. You must have earplugs on to get some sleep. Don’t recommend too much. Unbelievably noisy at night

This hotel is great if you're just passing through, as it's conveniently located near Keleti train station. However, it's a bit far from the city center. Luckily, Budapest has excellent public transport. We bought a 24-hour pass, so it only took about 20 minutes to get downtown. The room itself was pretty standard and very clean. But I have to mention the noise issue. I specifically chose a room with...

Clean, nice staffs, near train station.

very quiet accommodation, room was clean and spacious hotel is near the train station what makes it a true gem definitely gonna stay there again!

We had an amazing stay at The Corinthia. We received a warm welcome on arrival and a room upgrade as we were staying for a week. It was my birthday and Christmas during our trip and the hotel team left treats in our room for both occasions. All the staff we encountered were helpful and friendly. The bar area was a great place to relax after a day of exploring. Aspects of our room were a little tired...

Excellent stay at Corinthia Budapest! Beautiful hotel with elegant rooms, outstanding service, and a truly luxurious atmosphere. The staff were warm and professional, the breakfast was delicious, and the spa was perfect for relaxing. A genuine five-star experience in a fantastic central location. Highly recommended😍

What an absolute amazing hotel. Fantastic location, close to everything Staff were so helpful and friendly. Only down side was the room was so hot and nobody could help to turn heating off

We had a couples massage and spent several hours in the spa afterwards. The staff were incredibly friendly and professional from start to finish. The 90-minute couples massage was absolutely wonderful and deeply relaxing. The spa facilities are beautiful, with a jacuzzi, several saunas and a swimming pool. A calm and peaceful atmosphere that truly feels luxurious. Highly recommended.

Great historical building with very high ceilings in the foyers. Great breakfast buffet. Showers can go hot and cold but tolerable. Location is walkable to Hungarian state opera, high street shopping and good restaurants.

Good hotel in a nice spot - liked how I could walk to many parts of town or take public transit. The spa area is nice but at times not enough beds. Breakfast is superb with so much variety. Rooms were comfy and quiet.

Hotel location was great. However for 4 star superior, we was rather disappointed with our room. The room temperature was so hot and we could not control the room temperature as it was defaulted to heating, plus the location of room was also hit with  the sun, and top of this the fridge was releasing a lot of heat . The rooms was  small, but it was clean . If I was to stay here again, I would definitely...

The hotel was impeccable, both in terms of location and facilities. The breakfast was excellent.

Absolutely beautiful hotel in a perfect location. The hotel and room was immaculately clean. The staff were always happy to help and answer questions. Breakfast was decisions and varied. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Great hotel, staff were very accommodating and the spa was lovely. Perfect location too.

Sophisticated hotel in a convenient location. Staff here are very friendly and helpful. The rooms were decent in size, ours had a view out to the courtyard. Breakfast had plenty of options and was nice. There’s a luggage store at the hotel in case of early arrival. The roof top pool and sauna wellness centre was a lovely bonus and a great start to the day.

Shared spaces were beautiful and full of character. Rooms at the Continental were a little dated, particularly the bathrooms. Breakfast food was plentiful. However, I stayed for 2 nights and on both mornings the pancakes were not fully cooked, which was a little disappointing.

The breakfast was delicious, and I was happy to find miso soup, which is a nice touch for Japanese guests. The room was clean, but I was troubled when the body soap dispenser was empty. It was refilled during the cleaning on the second morning. On the day of checkout, while I was relaxing in my room, a cleaner tried to enter without knocking, which startled me. I recommend using the chain lock.

Nice and comfortable place to stay.

The hot water was inconsistent, the hairdryer was too weak, and the facilities were old.

For Standard in general o.k. More information regarding parking posibilities would be helpful.

Great value for money! The only downside is that the parking facilities could be improved.

I have stayed at Danubius chain in Budapest before, Helia which is a spa hotel. This is more of a business location being beside the Puskas Arena and the M2 subway line and the 1 Tram line which gives multiple transit options if not using a hire vehicle or taxi. Breakfast was very decent, service attentive and professional. The room was clean with a few minor issues ie bathtub not draining quickly...

Pros: -on a nice and quiet island -staff is helpful -my room had a nice view of the Danube river and a balcony for breakfast -robes, slippers, vanity kit were included in the room (but no toothpaste unlike what is advertised on trip.com) -thermal water spa is nice during off peak times and when less busy Cons: -bathroom not that clean (see photo of bug) -the quality of food at breakfast is lacking...

Great rooms, pools are clean, breakfast with varieties

A very good hotel that fully lives up to its four-star rating. Excellent spa facilities, great cleanliness throughout the hotel, and a polite, friendly, and welcoming staff. A comfortable and pleasant stay — we really enjoyed it and would happily return.

Hotel looks really nice, Restaurant and bar are pretty decent. I was a bit worried by some bad reviews, but the staff is extremely kind and ready to help, we had a really good time. The pools were a bit crowded on the weekend, on weekdays there is plenty of room. All I've missed was a small cooling pool or barrell with temp. around or under 20, but the walkway between Thermal pools was deep enough...

The hotel provides water dispensers with fresh drinking water available daily, which is very convenient and contributes positively to overall comfort. In addition, fresh juices are offered, providing a pleasant and refreshing option throughout the day. It is also worth highlighting that there is a selection of desserts available without added sugar, which is a thoughtful and health-conscious offering...

Nice spa, nice rooms and a great location The breakfast restaurant is to small and it need some more places for coffee and cold beverages Its also not easy to get an appointment for the spa. Most are booked out for same day And I missed a good a la carte restaurant for dinner There are no restaurants around the hotels. And it would be nice and easy to arrage the sauna sessions on a daily basis in the...

The location is great, close to the city center and about a 20-minute drive from the airport, so getting a taxi is very convenient. The hotel restaurant serves good food too. All in all, it's very convenient.

Thank you so much for this trip. Everything was great — the hotel, the location, and the service were all excellent. Much appreciated!

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel and I am truly impressed by the overall experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff were welcoming, polite, and always ready to help with a smile. The check-in process was smooth and professional, which made a great first impression. The room was very clean, spacious, and comfortable, with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. Housekeeping did an excellent...

I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The staff was friendly, professional, and always willing to help. The location was convenient, making it easy to get around. Overall, it was a relaxing experience, and I would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

The breakfast was plentiful, and the environment was great. Highly recommended.

A large busy tourist class hotel, a little dated but comfortable enough  3 small lifts, 2 working  Stuffy room . Hot sunny day in late October but air con in room disabled and only heating available, at least you could open the window. Great location for driving access from motorways, easy public transport or uber/bolt access to the city, €15 parking was the best I could find. Breakfast very busy but...

Rooms was good, reception service was very good. Restaurant ok. I could not enjoy spa access during my 3-day stay, so the reception handed me a card as I was checking out: I could have used that same day in case I had free time . I very much enjoyed such kind gift.

Great location, close to the airport Rooms where a bit dated, not much but just needs a slight facelift i.e. the apartment rooms contains an old school microwave, decor needs a uplift but otherwise very satisfied. Rooms are very spacious and temp controlled. Service was great too. Staff were very helpful

Amazing water park, perfect for both kids and adults! There are so many different types of pools and entertainment areas for children, as well as a great variety of sauna rooms for adults. I especially loved the outdoor pool that connects directly to the indoor one — you can even swim out! We didn’t get a chance to stay in the hotel. But highly recommended for a fun and relaxing day in Budapest! (No...

Amazing family-friendly resort with great water attractions and clean facilities. The indoor water park is huge, with slides for all ages, wave pools, and relaxing saunas. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the breakfast buffet offers a wide variety of fresh options. Staff are friendly and helpful, making the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. Perfect place for both kids and adults to...

Absolutely awesome! An excellent place we will definitely return to. The room was spacious (junior suite) and fit well for a family of parents + 3. The staff was mostly friendly, and the option to eat with no wait at the place useful. Absolutely recommended as a retreat near Budapest for families

You will.be charge for ice!! The bridge not cooling enough and is incredible they charge for ice!!!

The hotel was quite cold for the two weeks of my stay due to a technical issue. Unfortunately, the spa area—which was the main reason I chose this hotel—was also too cold to fully enjoy. The hotel itself is old, with dated furniture and very basic amenities, but everything was clean. There’s nothing particularly special about the place, however it offers decent value for the money.

The place looks good for family and friends.

The hotel is pretty good, and the breakfast is decent. The heating in the room works well too. It has that vibe of an older domestic hotel. You can get to the city center and tourist attractions directly by taking the H5 light rail, which only takes about ten minutes.

The hotel has excellent access to the city center, which I consider a big advantage. There is a tram and a train nearby, making transportation to the center easy and fast. The hotel itself looks nice and well maintained; however, the rooms would benefit from a small renovation. The biggest disappointment for us was the wellness area. During the first two days of our stay, the water in both the pools...

A bit of the beaten track, but good connections and the uber taxis are super reliable and reasonable. Room just ok could be better/ cleaner but bed comfy. Service was brilliant though and breakfast was busy but well handled.

Good hotel. Nice staff. Good food. The spa has 3 pools with different temperatures and three saunas. The only very small problem is that it is about 4 km to the major attractions, but that's not bad at all because you can walk more and if necessary you can also take public transport! Otherwise, a very nice place!

This was my second time that stayed in this hotel, and im so super satisfied and happy that i decided to stay here, so it means that this is sure not my last visit to Ensana. The cleanliness was impressive especially in the Spa centre. This time i ve used also the gym which exceeded my expectation. The food in the Platan restaurant was one to die for, very delicious and with a wide selection of food...

We had a very pleasant stay at the hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff was friendly and helpful throughout our visit. The spa and wellness facilities were excellent and very relaxing. The location is great, surrounded by nature, yet close to the city center. Overall, a very good experience and we would gladly return.

The hotel was beautiful and spacious, and our room was very comfortable. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The spa and gym facilities were excellent — if you’re using the spa, having flip-flops is very handy. The island itself was calm and peaceful, especially with the snow in January, and we enjoyed taking the walk every day. There is also a running track around the island, which...

Loved every minute of our 6 night stay. The hotel staff were kind and very helpful, the rooms were well equiped, clean and spacious. The hotel lived up to its name and is indeed grand! The spa was such a lovely addition to our stay and we used it every day we were there. The breakfast was good, there was a day that the food was poor (cold and very dry) but this was only on one day and the days after...

A fantastic hotel. We returned after a 13-year hiatus, and it was just as wonderful as we remembered. Even on hot summer days, the island stays cool, and from the hotel windows, you can see lush greenery instead of hot, stone buildings. The thermal complex is good; it can get a bit crowded, but if you time your visit well, you can enjoy the pools with only 3-4 other people. The breakfast is fantastic...

A beautiful hotel, nestled in the heart of magnificent nature. It was extremely peaceful. Thank you for the lovely birthday gestures.

The bathtub in the room is very high and slippery, it's easy to slip, but everything else is fine

No Safe Personal information!!

Great location, very clean structure

Excellent service and 100% recommended

Sevdik , kaliteyi hissettiriyor, rahat yatak , kolay ulaşım , odada terlik yok , kahvaltı da sıcaklar çeşitli ancak lezzetsiz ,

This hotel is in the city center, close to the Danube River, and very close to the most famous Chain Bridge. The Fisherman's Bastion is still so charming, and the natural city under the sun is so harmonious and beautiful.

Excellent clean hotel, sauna and the gym are open 24/7. Also bedding was super comfy

Everything was good. Check in was comfortable, we checked in early almost 3 hours before the check in time and they didn’t ask anything. Room was very spacious with comfortable bed. Staff was supportive and helpful. Location 10/10, cleanliness 10/10 room 10/10 good and drinks 10/10, accessibility 10/10.

The location is excellent, right outside the tram and subway stations. The hotel's buffet was decent, though the selection was quite limited. The cleanliness of the room's floor felt a bit lacking. Overall, it was still pretty good.

The room was quite spacious, with the window facing the inner courtyard. The breakfast was very rich. It's definitely worth experiencing. It's also very close to New York Cafe!

The hotel's location is excellent, right downstairs from the Red Line Metro and tram station. It's less than 20 minutes to Fisherman's Bastion and other attractions. The room was quiet, and the hot water was plentiful and heated up quickly. Breakfast was quite rich. The gym was a bit small, but the view was nice, allowing me to relax my eyes while running. The only downside was that I had requested...

Courtyard by Marriott is definitely more of a business-focused hotel. It is on the pricier side, but overall very comfortable. The staff deserve special mention — they are consistently friendly, polite, and helpful. Breakfast is average for my Asian palate, but I appreciate the effort to offer a wide variety of dishes each morning. A few things could be improved: The gym feels too small and gets...

An unforgettable stay in one of the most beautiful hotels in Europe. My wife and I had the pleasure of staying at the Four Seasons Gresham Palace in Budapest, and the experience was absolutely exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the grandeur of the building and the elegance of the Art Nouveau architecture. The hotel perfectly combines historical charm with modern luxury....

We had an amazing time at the 4 Seasons in Budapest. Hotel very good - it was busy due to Christmas, but still quiet and always available for residents. Spa was excellent and we were the only people in the pool which was lovely and relaxing. In terms of location - perfect for site-seeing of Buda and Pest. Looking onto the river and near all transporation. Christmas markets interesting and safe...

We had an incredible stay at this hotel. Anastasia at the front desk was particularly welcoming, friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our conversations with her and her insights. While this is clearly a luxury hotel, what really stood out was the genuine hospitality from every member of the staff. You can tell they are proud to work here and they sincerely want to take care of you — it’s not an act, like...

Four Seasons Hotel Gresham Palace Budapest is an absolutely wonderful place to stay and truly lives up to its reputation. From the moment you walk in, you’re surrounded by beauty, elegance, and a feeling of genuine warmth that makes you feel instantly welcome. The building itself is stunning — a beautifully restored Art Nouveau palace — and the location couldn’t be better, right by the Chain Bridge...

If you don’t stay enough once, you will continue next time.

The rooms booked by Ctrip are always in the worst locations, and the hotel will not change this status even if there are many vacancies. What's more terrible is that for the same price, you can get a good location through ***********. I don't understand. This time, two different rooms, with the same price, were booked through different companies, and the result was like this. Ctrip should think: why

The location is good and the staff is helpful and the breakfast is good

What an Excellent Hotel for my business relax, Thank you my Dearest, see you soon

The hotel was good the room was all renovated and so the bathroom perfect shower pressure with good amenities refrigerator. Kettle tea and coffee. Bottle of mineral water..around the hotel there is several supermarkets but not many restaurants a bit far from city center.

Feel like 2.5 stars accept the breakfast Cleaning is minimal Under the bad was a lot of mess Also hotel service not the best Looking good in the picture but wont compare

Great location and friendly staff.

Good service, good views and good location, recommended with 5 stars.

All good !!! Close to everywhere

This hotel is in an ideal location close to the opera and St Stephen’s Basin in the heart of Pest. The staff are friendly and welcoming and helpful , available all day long. The accommodations have super comfortable beds, crisp linen and classic and functional bedroom layout that includes a safe, fridge and kettle. The ensuite shower room is well appointed, includes a hairdryer shower gel, hand wash...

It is a very nice hotel near to the opera house. Walking distance to famous landmarks. The room is not very spacious, but they have everything needed for the stay. And also, love the christmas decorations.

It is a very nice hotel near to the opera house. Walking distance to famous landmarks. The room is not very spacious, but they have everything needed for the stay. And also, love the christmas decorations.

Great value and a great location. Walking distance from most attractions and of course the Danube River. Breakfast buffet was excellent with a wide variety of choices. Clean, attractive. Would go back anytime.

Had a good time at this hotel. Staff were friendly, and the room was clean. One thing to note is that since the hotel was in "winter mode", only heating was available in the room, if you want cooling, you will have to turn off the heater and open the window for cooler air to come in. I did encounter some occasional wifi issues in the room (on the 1st floor). The gym was really small and outdated,...

Ridiculous and completely unacceptable! At 8:00 AM, someone opened our room door without knocking or permission. When we complained, the front desk casually claimed it was housekeeping. Are you serious? Who starts housekeeping at 8:00 AM — and without even confirming if the room is occupied? This is not just unprofessional, it is a serious safety and security concern. Guests should never feel unsafe...

Overall okay, clean and neat room. Comfortable bed.

Great location. Clean hotel. Low water stream and not warm enough

Excellent hotel, nothing was missing — highly recommended!

Everything is good especially breakfast

nice location and good quality hotel

Very good location In city centre

The rooms were excellent – spacious, clean, comfortable, and cozy. The breakfast was fantastic, and the staff were wonderful!

Super hotel! The receptionist was very kind and helpful. We had breakfast included on the morning of our departure, and since we couldn't actually sit down to eat, they prepared a very nice picnic for us, which was a great surprise. Excellent breakfast and super clean rooms!

The location is convenient, very close to the subway and bus stops. You can take the 100E bus from the airport directly to the hotel, but for the return trip to the airport, you'll need to go one stop forward or backward to catch the 100E. The hotel breakfast offers a good variety and is delicious. It's definitely worth recommending a stay here.

Wonderful hotel, spotless and meticulously maintained, very centrally located.

Very convenient in the city Centre, clean and modern! Would definetly recommend

The room was right next to the train station, which was super convenient. The breakfast wasn't really suited for a Chinese palate, but the hotel service was excellent. This will be my first choice for future travel due to its convenient location.

The hotel is located in the city center, which is a plus.

The location is super convenient, with a mall right downstairs and a supermarket across the street, making shopping a breeze. The front desk even gave us chocolates, and the service was amazing. Highly recommend!

A lovely and nice hotel - as per usual Crowne standard Cleanliness: spotless Room: modern and spacious, love the design! Breakfast: one of the best in town - a lot of options and large sitting area, plenty of seats choice Amenities: standard, but a good gym and spa! Location: not the closest to the city centre but close to metro, 2 mins walk, with a shopping mall underneath it

Great hotel, the reception desk was helpful. Location is near most of the fun.

Hotel staff are fantastic, everyone is very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast is excellent. Rooms are new. Location is also excellent, on the edge of the city center / main tourist area on the Pest side, with metro, buses and tram stations all next to the hotel.
