I've stayed here multiple times, and the experience is always great. The location is super convenient, very close to the train station, and the cleanliness is excellent. It's definitely a top value-for-money option for accommodation in Budapest. Highly recommended!
My stay here was absolutely terrible. The worst part was when the cleaning staff entered my room without knocking or permission while I was still inside. This was a severe invasion of my privacy and made me feel extremely uncomfortable and unsafe.
Furthermore, the hotel's service was disappointing. They charged an extra fee for luggage storage, which was not clearly stated during booking. This felt...
A good stay! The hotel is well located although maybe not the nicest area near the train station but fine enough. I traveled as a woman alone and felt safe and secure. The staff are friendly and helpful and speak English well. There is a little traffic noise but not bad at all and it didn't disturb my sleep as a light sleeper.
Great location, right by the subway entrance. The breakfast spread was generous and replenished promptly. The hotel looks exactly like the pictures. I'd definitely consider staying here again if I'm in the area.
The facilities are brand new, and there's a kettle provided. The accommodation is beautiful, quiet, and spotless. Transportation is incredibly convenient nearby. The headboard features a stylish map design, and it's very close to the subway station, right next to the train station. The guy at the front desk who checked me in was really handsome and spoke excellent English.
Stayed Feb 2026 for 1 night. As most reviewers have already indicated, the room was spacious and the bed comfortable. Although we were assigned a room facing the Keleti station and the main road, it was surprisingly not too noisy. We could hear the occasional police siren but it did not disturb our sleep.
One downside - we checked out early and wanted to store our luggage; we were surprised that...

The hotel is centrally located and surrounded by local restaurants in walking distance. The staff is very friendly and the amenities are amazing. I would stay here again for more reasons than one. This is the best Leonardo hotel I have stayed at in the world. Shout out to Noga for being very helpful.
The Leonardo Hotel Budapest was fine for a short stay. The location is decent, with some public transport options nearby. The room was clean but a bit small and basic. Staff were generally polite, though service could be a little quicker. Overall, nothing special but it does the job if you just need a place to sleep.
Everything is good, I really liked it, the girls at the reception were very friendly
I think the hotel is very good, but it's a pity that the water in the bathroom splashes easily and the toilet is a bit clogged. The front desk staff are very good.
The rooms are small and outdated, and the hotel is surrounded by residential areas. The subway station is about a ten-minute walk away. The breakfast was average. This hotel is generally considered inferior to other hotels in the group.
Just spent 2 nights at the Leonardo Hotel with the kids and had a great stay! The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, which made a big difference traveling as a family. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful—always around when we needed anything and made us feel very welcome. The whole place was well-maintained and clean, which added to the relaxing atmosphere. Would definitely recommend...

The hotel is located a bit far from the city center, about a 10-minute walk from the subway station. I'd recommend staying closer to the city center if you're here for tourism. This area is a little out of the way.
I was very happy with the hotel not to far from the city and shops all around will be staying there again.
Super nice hotel, nice breakfast, sparkling clean room. One recommendation is to provide complimentary water in rooms at least
The hotel is a solid option for a business trip. The rooms are clean and practical, and the overall comfort level is good for the price. While nothing particularly stands out, it offers a reasonable balance of cost and quality, making it a convenient choice for short business stays.
Here is a comfortable and clean hotel with a very nice and happy atmosphere and hotel staff are so polite and kind. Location is the best, close to M station and shopping malls are around😊
Breakfast?? Perfect😊don’t hesitate to book your room including breakfast ❤️
My wife and I are delighted with how kindly we were greeted and treated by the hotel staff, especially the gentleman at the front desk. The room was very clean, the beds were comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious. In short, we didn't want to leave. We will definitely return to this wonderful place because it's truly worth it. I recommend it to everyone who values the highest standards. Thank...

The hotel was near the metro which is good and the room was quite small but it’s clean. The bathroom shower was too narrow and small, however, the staff was accommodating and friendly.
The room was clean, but there was virtually no service. The soundproofing was terrible; someone called the room at 2 AM, and there was constant noise and running upstairs and outside my door from 1 AM to 5 AM. It was quite a terrifying experience.
Extremely satisfied with my stay. The hotel was clean and tidy, and the location was super convenient. It's within walking distance to the train station and popular attractions, and the surrounding area is lovely and quiet.
Great location, very close to both the subway and train, and right next to attractions like Fisherman's Bastion. The staff were also very nice, ordering takeout was convenient, and the price was very reasonable. Highly recommend!
Great location, but no electric kettle, small face towe, showel capl and slippers. Remember to bring your own.
Basic necessities was given, keep up on the cleanliness.

Hotel is a great location, near the train station and public transport.
Room has a great size, comfortable bed and had complimentary water.
The bathtub is a bit high, so for someone with mobility difficulty might be hard to shower/bathe. The bathroom looks a bit rundown but it is clean.
Breakfast was great, fresh and with great options to choose from.

The room was very comfortable and clean, and the service was excellent. They offer a great variety of breakfast options. The location is super convenient, being very close to the subway station, and there are many restaurants nearby. Highly recommended!
Simple service but efficient.
Perfect location for Pest city center.
It was really a pleasure to stay at Medos Hotel. We booked a twin room. It was very clea, the bathroom too. Beds, sheets, bed covers all white and clean. Breakfast excellent and full. Many options for everything (coffee, cheese, ham, marmalade, cakes, breads, eggs, sausages etc). I would definitely recommend this hotel and definitely I will choose it again.
Staff was super professional and friendly, responded to messages promptly. Cleaning could be improved, as curtains had a big stain, walls could use a retouch here and there. Main bother with the room was extremely squeaky floor and bed frame. Overall, great place for the price.
The hotel has a very European vibe to it. We were on the 10th floor, but had to walk down 2 sets of stairs to get to our room !! I have arthritis and having to move our luggage was not easy on our own, this let the hotel down. Breakfast not overly great, if you like toast you'll be fine. I came here on a business trip and it was great. It was worth the price.
I cannot find any flaw to the Hotel. The rooms are clean, the breakfast is delicious and the staff is competitive and polite. Highly recommend
No flexible dates, travelling for business you need a hotel that can provide flexible dates. Not good for business travels.
Excellent friendly, competent service, client oriented. Parking in front of the hotel which is a huge plus. Cosy room with large balcony and nice view over the city. Inside door to separate the room from the hall door, which helps a lot with the noise. Good water for shower, hangers in the wardrobe, clean & fresh towels and linen. We enjoyed everything.
Very nice hotel, staff, and clealiness but a bit off the beaten path. There's almost nowhere to go in walking distane and the sign says bar and restaurant but they only have breakfast. For the price it was still excellent.
Great location, comfortable bed, price for drinks or food quite pricey

The room was nice, spacious and clean. Will stay here again if i travel to budapest in future.
This hotel offers incredible value for money, and it's super easy to get to. The rooms are huge! We arrived late, and our booked twin room wasn't available, but the staff were amazing and upgraded our room for us – a big thank you to them! We booked breakfast at the New York Café at the front desk; it was 30 Euros per person. As guests, we had a special dining area, which was beautiful and elegant...
The room was clean and spacious, well-equipped with great facilities. The service was excellent, and the environment was pleasant. There's a supermarket right across the street, and the central location is convenient for all the tourist attractions, dining, and transportation.
The location is fantastic, very close to the tram, and you can even use the New York Cafe's side entrance – it's an attraction itself! The room is spacious, and having a washing machine is very convenient. Amenities are comprehensive, just remember to bring your own toothbrush. Overall, we were extremely satisfied. The only minor downside was that we extended our stay by one day. On that day, we explicitly...
I really liked the location and the amazing view from the terrace. Initially, I was given a room with a view of a side street, but after speaking with the administrator, they offered to move me to the room I wanted for the second night.
I also enjoyed breakfast at the New York Café.
The rooms themselves are a bit dated, especially the bathroom, but everything was clean and in good condition.
ONE OF THE BEST HOTEL I HAVE EVER STAYED! The room is surprisingly big and comfortable, well-equipped too. The location is very convenient, just few steps from Metro station. I recommend it to everyone!

Good location and staff are very friendly..I highly recommend this place to stay.
location is good, right in the center of Budapest. Easily accessible by subway, with resturants and grocery nearby.
Decent breakfast. Decent room. Friendly staff. Average big chain standard. Location us good with bars, restaurants and supermarkets close, if you are too tired to go fast after a long day of sight seeing.
No tea/ coffee in the room but free in the reception - but i like a coffee in my pjs before i dress and face the world.
Great time in Budapest, amazing breakfast with tradition Hungarian options. Cool theme “gaming” to the bedrooms. Next to a Lidl, and metro station to get into the city centre. Extended our stay by one night directly with the hotel too

Very good hotel ..very near to station to go airport ..near to all the touristy area by walking …I enjoy very much
Satisfied as always, especially on the breakfast!
Room is not quite big, but good enough for the cost;
Bath & TV programs are also nice, recommend to add more German program channels.
Summarize to say: I'll come again.
The location is good, walkable distance to the Liberty bridge (c. 10 minutes).
My room was located in a quiet area of the hotel, far from the lifts. However, my room was very basic with no kettle which could have been a plus for me.
Excellent location, lots of restaurant around the hotel. Attractions are within walking distance ( 5mins - 1hr). Hotel is quite neat and exactly thesame as advertised on the app.
Limited space even for a twin room, also, no kettle or hot water provided in the middle of the night. But good for those exploring Budapest as stopover point.

The hotel staff is attentive, helpful, and knowledgeable. The hotel itself is clean and located in a great area, very close to Váci Street and the bridges that connect the Pest side to Buda. We stayed at this hotel in Budapest for 3 nights. Our family room was not very big, but there was enough space for all of us. Everything was clean, although there was a bit of mold near the shower. The hotel has a great location, close to a bus stop, the underground and tram stations, and the Great Market Hall. A convenient choice if you want to visit Budapest’s main tourist attractions.
This was our first time in this hostel-hotel format, and we were really impressed. The private bedroom and ensuite bathroom were comfortable, quiet and modern, and the aircon was a delight! We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. The location is convenient, close to the bus stop. Check-in is only possible from 4 PM, which is a bit inconvenient, but they offered to leave our luggage there. Our room was clean, a little dated and rusty, but passable. They never cleaned the room or made the bed. It's true that it's old and not cleaned well.
It's an old building, so it's worn out.
But this hotel has a unique atmosphere and is cool.
It's a little far from the city center, but there's a bus stop within walking distance. (It's about 10 minutes.)
If you just pay a little attention to cleaning, you'll forget about the oldness and have a great time. The hotel staff are all very kind.
The property is an old style large stone house that has been renovated. It has an easy going ambiance as it might have been in the 50s. The neighborhood is 50s style residential, but easy access to decent restaurant and great outdoor coffee shop. Easy access to bus, or 40 minute walk, over the bridge, to the very heart of the city. Service was fine enough, but no breakfast.
An average hotel, the rooms were clean but with ants, the Wi-Fi is of quite good quality, the hotel is in a good location, 10 minutes by car from the center, the price corresponds to the quality, there is a working air conditioner, but we got a damaged bed. I can't say anything about the service, since I almost never contacted it. Good for a 2 star hotel.
We chose this hotel for our one night stay during our trip to Germany. We did not encounter any disturbing situations. The price was ***et reasonable. The cleaning was very very good. ***et is suitable for accommodation during visits to Budapest.

Very nice budget hotel, relatively clean we had no issues. Staff was very friendly, they let us check in early and then check out later because one of our friends was sick. Very accommodating, nice breakfast options and enough time even if you fancy waking up a bit later. Overall a good experience.
The breakfast was great, the hotel was clean, and it’s located in a quiet zone. Although the photos made it look like a 'grandma's homestay,' it’s actually a surprisingly large and nice hotel.
