Where to stay in Miskolctapolca

I stayed at the hotel as a solo business traveler, and the experience exceeded my expectations. I would especially like to highlight the attitude of the staff, who were extremely friendly and helpful throughout; whatever I asked for, they handled immediately and with a smile. Regarding the wellness area, I found the swimming pool water a bit cold, and it was a pity that the steam cabin was out of order...

We just return from our New Year"s vacation, and we can only tell great things about this place. The room, the restaurant, the wellness are all five points. The only sadness is that we cannot give more than five to the staff. They were great, polite, kind, helpful, professionals. Thanks again, and hope to see you soon! We can warmly recommend this place

The bed was greeaatt!!! I slept like a baby all 3 nights. The food was really really good and the cherry on top? The team!!! The team was spectacular. I don’t know if it’s the training or the heart of Hungarian hospitality. But I genuinely am going back!

I would like to share my recent experience at your hotel. While the hotel itself was satisfactory, the service left much to be desired. It may have been an isolated incident, but we encountered numerous issues that fell below the standard we expected from a four-star establishment. Regarding dining, our first night was delightful, with a variety of dishes, including fish. However, the second night...

This is an excellent hotel. We were satisfied with all services. The staff is very kind and always smiling. We had half board, both the breakfast and the dinner were quite varied with many different hot and cold dishes. Every day there were different types of dishes. For dinner there were some appetizers, at least two soups, chicken, pork, beef, side dishes, vegetables, sauces. The dessert is not their...

Super clean, big rooms, excelent services, very nice stuff. Congratulation!

Travelled to this hotel all the way from Hong Kong, definitely worth the trip, had an amazing stay

The service was good. Our first room smelled like smoke, but the staff quickly gave us a bigger one, which was nice. The room was large, with a huge bathroom. However, it had no kettle or coffee machine. It also faced the central AC units, which were very loud at times, even at night. Breakfast was okay, not many pastries, but they were good quality. The location was fine, easy to park and close to...

I am from Brighton, the United Kingdom. The Hotel is amazing, situated in an idyllic place, the closest accommodation to the Cave Bath. The wellness area of the hotel is exquisite, we enjoyed ourselves like in heaven. The food tasted like at home. The staff is very polite, kind and always happy to help. Highly recommended, A+++ service! Thank you so very much!

We spent 2 nights in the hotel. We had a warm welcome, they escorted us to our room. The room is not a luxury suite, but it was clean, and apart from the 2 bugs that disturbed us at night, we were satisfied with everything. They probably came in when a balcony door was open. The wellness section was included in the price and we really enjoyed the pools. Unfortunately, the gym was closed, and I couldn...

We had a great Family stay in this hotel. Location is fantastic, room furniture is bit older but clean. Wellness part needs some improvement but still we enjoyed it. The best here is the stuff which is always very nice and helpful and also tasty meel they serve for breakfast and dinner.

They give a very kind service and it's realy comfortable in the hotel. There's also very good food :)

An old hotel very close to the city center. It's an older style hotel (rooms have physical keys and not key cards), but they are clean and overall OK. The staff was nice, the on-site restaurant offers quite a good variety of things at a reasonable price.

staff exceedingly friendly and helpful

It is a cost-effective accommodation option.

I would rate it at all about 4.4 because we had to wait more than a hour. If I only rate the food only then it is 4.8. The cause of the 0.2 deduction is that the portions weren't that big(or maybe just mine, because others were ok with the size). The service was perfect. Prices start at 4400 HUF. Everyone decides if that's much or not. But how the foods looked was gorgeous, as you can see on the pictures

Greta but ac in room as off but all other was ok

Nice place. Like in movie. Definitely more than we expected for this price.

A cost effective solution to stay in the inner city with convenient parking.

This is a go to for my unwind from jet lag after a long flight. Staff is so friendly and it’s such a great location

Modern, clean, comfortable room. Mini bar, good air-conditioner. Very convenient free underground parking with easy access to the room. Free very good breakfast. The only downside was that it was on a busy street, although the rooms appear to be well isolated. Right next to a shopping mall and a 10 min walk to the city center.

Good location, easy to park. Not far from city Center. Rooms facing the main road can be a noisy from the traffic. It has high standard, spacey rooms and a fairly good breakfast.

Stayed here with my partner, was very clean and safe hotel. Close to tesco, McDonald’s and shopping centre. You can control the room on your phone - enter the room and building, heating, request cleaning. I would recommend this to someone who is used to higher end hotels, however I wished reception was open 24-7 as other countries as there came a time I needed house keeping for towels and realised...

Nice, new, clean hotel. Good location. Amazing restaurant (ZIP’s) around the corner who also offers room service. Breakfast was ok but could be better.

Rooms are nice and tidy, bathroom is clean and large with a good shower. The bed is really comfortable and the pillows as well. Wellness part is really nice, play room for the kids downstairs is a bit warm and no windows(small issues) but it was fun playing for the kids. Breakfast and dinner (half pension) is fantastic, nice food, plenty choices and good taste. Only downside, when we went back in...

Why is it only average 4.6 points, it should be 5.0 points, it's the best hotel I have ever stayed

Nice hotel with spacious and clean rooms, however difficult access to internal parking in the backyard. Nice and rich breakfasts, good assistance from the front desk service. Restaurant offer was not that attractive so we chose a different option for a dinner nearby

Friendly staff, friendly managers, clean rooms, very good food

We spent 3 nights in this modern 4stars wellness hotel. Our room was on the second floor but there’s lift. Everything was all right, clean and comfortable. The staff was polite and friendly, the buffet breakfast and dinner was delicious and we had a great choice. We spent hours in the wellness section, we enjoyed the jacuzzi and the sauna. They were free and we got extra massage for resonable price...

Unexpected positive experience - staff, jacuzzi, food. And I almost cancelled my booking based on some poor reviews, some coming from people with few or no other contributions, or having just one complaint, regardless the overall experience. Guys, maybe you didn't like it, but if you are for real, make sure you also rate other places, including the ones you enjoyed. Aurora deserves the 5th star because...

Very friendly staff, clean hotel very great atmosphere.

Very convenient accommodation in Miskolc, easy parking near hotel and wide breakfast options

It was a nice, very comfortable hotel with a good breakfast. It is just a short walk into the town square or a hike up to the mast for a great view of the area. It was during the heatwave, but the hotel was a good temperature. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Environment: Very good Service: Very good Facilities: Complete

Room was very well heated. It was placed to the Main street an with open Windows very noisy. Breakfast was great. And all clean!

arrived after midnight, everything was ready so I can go directly to shower/bad. Nice breakfast, friendly stuff at restaurant and reception aswell.

wifi don’t work but it’s pretty hotel 🙏

I just spent two nights at Fortuna Hotel. My room was small but clean and I had everything that I needed. The staff was so nice. They assisted me in every way..bringing me my laundry..bringing me the most delicious meals. I sad to have to leave!

Fine for a 3 star hotel, breakfast was good

It is beyond expectations. It's not really only 3 stars, I've seen 4 star locations in the same city that were far below this location. Very kind and friendly staff. Attention to detail, impeccable cleanliness. I recommend.

Extremely positive experience. Rooms are clean and well equipped, breakfast is not too versatile but it is delicious, staff is kind and helpful. 10/10 would recommend!

Nice place close to the cave spa. Around five minutes walk through a park. The ellipsum located on the other side of the road. Helpful staff, tasty breakfast with good coffee, and stable WiFi. The room was clean, the bead was comfortable. Three more additional character to reach the minimum.

Our room wasn't in the main building, but in a nice and quiet dépendance in front of it. The room was beautiful, clean and large, with a beautiful bow window. Parking is free of charge. Good breakfast (served n the main building) and friendly and helpful Staff.

The hotel is in an excellent location, about a 15 minute walk from the city center so no need for going there by car and paying parking. Staff was really helpful, the new rooms look amazing and the breakfast had enough choices to start a day properly, though I had wished for some more cereal choices or perhaps prepared fruit. On the flip side, and saying beforehand that this is a more personal issue...

It's a nice little hotel, we were here already once and decided to come back. The only negative is the very little food selection for breakfast, but it's not a deal breaker

A traditional experience, with clean, cozy rooms in a vintage decorated villa-hotel ,confort food and a quiet neighborhood. The staff ,very polite and comunicative.

Excellent small family hotel/pension in a perfect location in the park near the sports hall. Trouble-free parking, beautiful large and clean rooms, comfortable beds and a peaceful environment without distractions. The breakfast is rich with a very pleasant service, which brewed excellent coffee and constantly provided missing food to the buffet tables. I appreciate fresh Hungarian pastries. I have...

Great little cozy hotel, with an atmosphere of a noble villa! The staff is very friendly, the rooms are spacious, mine even had a bathtub which I love! Breakfast was good, and we were served by a friendly elder gentlemen who was wearing a uniform. So cool! Overall, great place, recommended!

Amazingly helpful receptionist — allowed me to check in early and even offered some coffee while I waited. It was exactly what I needed after a delayed flight! Breakfast was super Hungarian, which was comforting: fresh bread, delicious salami and cheese, and the good old TV paprika (a pointy sweet pepper). It might seem like an unusual selection compared to other hotels’ more “international” breakfast...

Amazing hotel Great location great price front desk ladies smile more

1 metal rod on the stairs holding the carpet in place is loose/broken. I almost fell of the stairs. I mentioned it to reception they did acknowledge it but did nothing. Perhaps glue it on if you do not have a replacement metal strip. That was the only negative point. Would definitely stay there again. Until next time!

Middle standard, Decor from the Age of Communism.

Central location nice views of the main street and very busy tram. Good solid breakfast. Clean basic room with and basic bathroom.

Its a fantastic hotel. Everything was very good and everyone was very nice. Its a komfortable.

Nice, cozy apartment with terrace. Very friendly and helpful personnel.

The staff is very nice but they weren't really at the height of the situation .... It can be chosen from the breakfast menu (we would have been happier with a buffet breakfast if we had half board ....) and the amount is not enough to last us until dinner. Dinner .... Well .... you specifically eat what you get. If you don't like the menu of the day, you can go hungry ...

We had no problems with the cleanliness, the staff is very kind, helpful and close to the spa. The food is really a meal, it could be done much better with the same ingredients, or at least more of the 3 dishes. I also understand that there is no air conditioning at this level, but not a single mosquito net can be installed on the window or door? The first day we had to bother a big wasp. And the continuous...

Flóra pension "RETRO" type pension - PLEASE UNDERSTAND THIS IN A GOOD SENSE! ! ! I've been to them several times! Once, I only traveled there I didn't even know where I was sleeping (even before the time of my smartphone and years !!) I arrived at night (non-stop boarding) without notice. they greeted, they could give me a room. 100,000% CORRECT! Then and now: Staff are completely flexible, (I don...

Amazing quality and very nice hospitality especially for this money. Really grateful and happy with this place. Keep it up guys!

The first impression was excellent all the way until one problem after the other kept popping up. The hairdryer did not work at all. The towels are due for replacement. The bathroom floor got flooded during the second night. The shower door was broken although it got fixed immediately. The flooding did not occur consequential to the broken shower door but due to structural shortcoming. No management...

Lovely little hotel with tidy and cozy rooms. Unfortunately breakfast was not available due to renovations of the dining room. (Or rather the pandemic circumstances.) The adjoining pizzeria was open, though, but it wasn’t too welcoming and suitable for dinner so I left. Moderately priced, they helped with parking and the owner was kind.

Close to the center of miskolc and not too expensive 👍👍

Modern, super-clean room, good working air conditioner, 1st class mattresses, uber friendly and helpful landlady.

Great food, always tasty and yummy. They have hungarian and street food! I recommend It!!!

That wasn't too bad to be honest

Stayed here for 3 nights, arrived from Budapest, explored Miskolc and Lillafured, then travelled on to Eger. Easy walking distance to plenty of goodbus and tram stops, and the centre of Eger. Slight hill to go up between breakfast and the accommodation, but not a far distance at all. Friendly, helpful welcome. Staff spoke enough English for us to communicate well. Superb twin bed apartment, clean and...

Vocation is very good. Staff is friendly but doesn't speak English. The good and clean room, with TV, kitchen and necessary utensils. - very early check out (10:00) - breakfast could be better

Great place. Great food. Great animation and help service. Very polite and cute stuff members. :) Nice and big rooms. Also great vine celler under the building so every day something special!

Superb hotel and fantastic historic restaurant with some extra features like amazing collection in the vine cellars. Say no more, must see! Highly recommend if you are visit and stay in Miskolc.

Such a warm welcome on arrival and an absolutely gorgeous suite with huge bath. Very impressed with home style cooked breakfast eggs to order. Dora the hotel manager extremely knowledgable about where to go and what to do. Highly recommend for an authentic experience.

The rooms are clean and well maintained. There is Wi-Fi, a fridge, AC and comfy beds (thin, relatively stiff mattress, which was OK for me) in the room. The bathroom is fine (could add some shower gel or toothpaste though). There is a beer garden next door. If you are unlucky, the beer garden will play music until 11 PM which can be bothering even through closed windows (which have pretty good sound...

Con is don't have hair blower inside the room

Modest price, calm neighborhood

We had an excelent time here!! We were here on a Saturday night, so when we arrived for dinner there was live music and great atmosphere. The food was good, they have quality draft beer, our waiter was super polite and everyone at the restaurant had fun , we were dancing with other clients, even the musicians were dancing with us😊. P.S. Even though we don’t understand the language, the stuff, the musicians...

A very cozy place Good food.Excelent service.

Peaceful, silent neighbourhood, lovely staff, clean and comfortable room (love the scent of the blankets :)), easy to park on the street as well. Delicious "bundáskenyér" at breakfast :) Very close to cave bath.

Good stay. You can take a bus for 15 minutes into town (number 20 bus stop across the street) and you can walk 10 minutes to the cave baths. The room was clean, shower was hot with good pressure (though the door wouldn't close all the way so it got the floor wet). The wifi, fridge, AC and TV all worked. The little balcony was nice. The bed was comfortable enough. There was no housekeeping but whenever...

The grill restaurant was our favorit. Menu is great and the staff is exellent, they are so kind and helpful. Earn this money

Excellent service, excellent steaks

Very good, its cheap and nice😃

Friendly staff, very nice location, clean rooms, with window shades. The experience would have been better if the bed and pillow wouldn't be a disaster. The rooms are not sound proof so there was a lot of noise coming from everywhere time to time. The breakfast contained the cheapest store brought products, although the eggs and hot dog tasted fine, everything else had disturbing quality. The freshly...

Amazing and proper steak house. Waiters are super helpful to suggest the best for you.
