Hotel Bodrog Wellness in Sarospatak

No doubt about the five stars here. We stayed in one of the cheaper rooms on the third floor but it was lovely with tasteful colours and furniture. The lighting was pleasant and the bathroom met all our expectations. The only weakness was the bed: I found the two joint mattresses a bit uncomfortable as a double bed.
The wellness part of the hotel is superb with first class facilities and beautiful views. The breakfast was delicious and diverse.

A fantastic retreat for a family or for a couple. The wellness centre was very well laid out and had many options to choose from including a cold plunge, which was very refreshing and a massive hot tub and pool. The rooms are very clean and we’re very close to the spa. Highly recommend when staying in Sárospatak!

We decided to explore a bit East-Hungary and wanted stay somewhere close. Hotel Bodrog was a random choice and we did not regret it. Three hotel is in the center of Sárospatak with spacious parking lot. The room is comfortably big enough and in a very good shape. Breakfast and dinner are included and tasty, fresh variety of meals. Service is fast and polite. The wellness is clean and well equipped with saunas and jacuzzis. There are saunas programs on every Saturday night. Overall we spent a great weekend here and enjoyed this cozy hotel.

The place is luxurious. The stuff is extremely kind. The restaurant offers super healthy culinary courses. The terrace has comfortable seats, armchairs. Thanks a lot for the experience! We returned more times as everything was extra good

We had a lot of fun. Breakfast and dinner buffet with a wide choice. The room with a balcony is convenient, though not because of the view of the mountains, but because of the traffic, but there weren't many of us on the balcony. The wellness center is super! The staff is kind and helpful. Order and cleanliness everywhere. My heartfelt recommendation to everyone!

We will be back ... for a long time ... we will love ... they get to know each other :-D and we try to behave well ;-) There have been many improvements, they are constantly being built, improved, developed, both the rooms and the wellness, as well as the parking ... improvements and renovations are still ongoing, but they do not interfere with the rest ... GASTRONOMY - for breakfast a wide choice (from lactose-free and alternative plant milk, both hot and cold breakfasts), everyone (even children!) will find something to suit their taste, but if there is capacity, you can bake a request for example fluffy bread, as well as two types of soup and several main courses and side dishes for dinner, which can be diversified well I have no experience in treating a gluten-free / dairy-free diet, but a simpler lactose-free diet can be solved. STAFF - kind, helpful, young, everyone should be prepared to be a school hotel, so high school students and colleges are also present, but they are recovering and helping ... LOCATION - it is in the city center, every two steps from the Castle to the churches and the cemetery to the shops, post office, lottery to the pastry shop and restaurants, also nearby there is a gas station and a train station ... at the same time there are great excursions in the area (Zemplen WELLNESS - it gets better and better ... in addition to the pool, two jacuzzis, sauna world, salt chamber, massage ... in the new relaxation chairs it is great to swing, it would be worthwhile to put them on the wellness-relax terrace instead of a very warm sauna ...

Wellness has all types of sauna, pool and fitness to enjoy and sport. Staff is kind.
