This hotel provided a truly wonderful experience during my two-week stay. The staff's friendliness was exceptional, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Their assistance with receiving my package was incredibly helpful and much appreciated. The comfortable accommodations and convenient location enhanced my overall enjoyment. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a pleasant and memorable stay.

The sanitation is very good, the breakfast is good, and the service communication is basically no problem. Bring a swimsuit to enjoy the sauna in the hotel. The address is between the train station and the old town, and there are almost no shops around. There is no kettle in the room, so if you are thirsty, you can only go to the hotel bar to solve it. It should be noted that the check-out time is much earlier than that of ordinary hotels.

Outstanding boutique adult only hotel with private balconies, great breakfast, large gym, and a lovely spa. I enjoyed my 2 nights here while taking a trip up from Budapest for the weekend in November 2024. The corner room with the private sauna on the balcony was absolutely perfect. Daily hot breakfast was tasty with plenty of vegetarian and pescatarian options. The spa was a highlight with a multiple saunas, baths, and steam rooms. The hotel's location is a quick 10 minute walk into town. I really enjoyed my stay thanks to the great service and amenities offered at Imola.

Overall impression of the hotel is good. Spacious rooms and common areas, service was excellent, rooms nicely designed, big shower. The only thing I am not used to was the air conditioning. I guess there was ceiling cooling. So you do not feel immediate reaction when selecting the coolest setting on the control panel, it takes a while, but the room temperature turned really nice cool by the end of a hot day. I did not try the wellness. I would probably prefer next time a room with balcony. We stayed at a room with access to the patio, but you have less privacy due to people using a small pool located in the patio.

Eger is a must-see vacation destination for us. Hotel Imola Platan has been our favorite for years. Spacious rooms with large bathrooms, a fantastic restaurant, a walkway directly out onto the thermal pools, and the atmospheric Old Town within easy reach—what more could you want? This year we stayed in a suite, and it was a perfect choice. The only downside was the view—unfortunately, we didn't have time to book a suite facing the thermal pools, which is our favorite view. Maybe next year. Breakfasts are very varied, and dinners are served—usually two options. You can specify a special diet when booking, such as gluten-free, and the kitchen prepares delicious alternatives for an additional fee. We highly recommend this hotel.

Comfortable clean rooms and friendly helpful customer service. The wellness area has multiple pools all of them with jacuzzi. Do not get the half board!!! Breakfast is ok but the lunch and dinner options are extremely limited and boring. All deserts taste like flowers and nothing really Hungarian. We got sick from the spices. Eat outside instead.

Price compared to value not acceptable at least for the time of my stay (business trip) gym not possible to use because outsiders were preferred to guests with blocking the small gym with a personal trainer. Wellness area closed but room rates fully charged. Rooms though are nice but I was very disappointed and staff did not help to compensate my disappointment. Maybe I was there at the wrong time but would sadly led to this feedback to help maybe to improve things for the future!

One of the greatest adult-friendly hotels in Hungary. Staff is very polite and welcoming. Spa is relatively big with different pools and saunas. There is a free of charge option to go to Eger city spa as well. Both breakfast and dinner are fantastic. Rooms are modern, clean and spacious. Amongst my favorite hotels of the country, highly recommended.
