Disappointing Experience at Saliris Resort Spa in Egerszalók

When I first saw the pictures of the Saliris Resort Spa in Egerszalók, I was truly impressed. The stunning visuals and the unique salt hill formation made me believe this would be a top-tier spa experience. With such high expectations—and especially considering the 10,800 HUF entrance fee—I assumed everything would be well-maintained and of excellent quality.

Unfortunately, my visit turned out to be a major disappointment.

Inside the spa, the facilities were noticeably run-down. The outdoor area was poorly maintained and far from the relaxing atmosphere I had imagined. What bothered me the most, however, was the state of the thermal pools. The water in the medicinal pool was far from clean—there were pieces of skin, various floating plastic objects, and clumps of unidentified debris. It was unappealing and unhygienic.

On top of that, the service at the snack bars within the beach area was painfully slow, adding to the overall sense of disorganization.

I left the spa completely disillusioned. A place that charges such a high entrance fee should provide a much higher standard of cleanliness, service, and overall experience. Unfortunately, Saliris did not live up to its reputation or price tag.
