Great location in the city center. Room are oldish with not good beds. Ceilings are so high 5 meters.
Breakfast is midrange with not so good coffee. There is parking for guests.

An amazing place to stay in Szeged and in the Summer since the rooms have AC. It is next the Cinema and the major tram line and all the nice restaurants and major attractions including the Cinema which is 50metres away. The hotel had nice staff. One thing though, the Hungarian Breakfast is like no other - it is as brief as a Mini Skirt with limited options.

Lovely hotel in Szeged, very kind and helpful staff. The breakfast was awesome and very filling. Close to a park and the Tisza river for a daily walk and jog. Rooms are clean and quiet. Beds and very comfortable

Very well situated hotel (15 mn from Central bus station & commercial center, 10mn fromAnna'sThermal Bath). Very nice service. Continental breakfast ok.

We had low expectations based on bad reviews. But got very good discount on booking and decided to give it a try. Hotel is absolutely beautiful. I'm not sure why it has so much bad reviews because it is average experience for Szeged. The "drunk" people you see in review are just kids going to club next door. There was no noise from the club at our room. Breakfast was very good again average for Szeged. Room size for some a problem, but heating was perfect, and heater in bathroom worked so we could dry out towels from spa. I dont need anything more than that. Bed comfy enough. Location is supreme. Parking in front is paid. Like i said for discount price very good experience overall. The staff is 5++++ very kind. Espacaly when we ate breakfast. The lady was marking sure we get everything. It was lovely :) and made us feel like we were at home.

Generally, nice, clean, quite, cosy and good price.
Polite and friendly service as well as centre location makes it excellent choice in hearth of the city.
Nevertheless, sometimes student might make niosy and disturbing.

OK, BUT WITH A HUGE PROBLEM: a neighbouring venue played techno music extremely loudly until 2.30 a.m. both nights (Fri. & Sat.), followed by a loud clean-up. If this was a one-off, fair enough; if it's regular, you may want to try somewhere else. We hardly slept at all. Worse, reception was totally uninterested and suggested we call the police if the matter bothered us. 🤔

OTHERWISE: This is an old-style, yet presentable, hotel which has been renovated in parts (the bathroom, for instance, whilst the furnishings remain untouched). It needs a bit of TLC. Service is very much old school, with smiles and efficiency not always forthcoming. The rooms are clean and spacious, if a little spartan though - e.g. no shower curtain or soap in the bath/shower. They were well-equipped with electric sockets and WiFi speed was generally 35 Mbps or better. The breakfast offer is reasonable without being sensational - it is also bacon-free and fruit-free.

The hotel is perfectly located near the centre of town in a quiet street with plenty of paid parking nearby. Access by car can be a bit tricky, so you would do well to pre-plan how you get there.

Helpful receptionist, nice breakfast, good rooms and the building itself is beautiful.

Very close (100m) to the hotel there is a great restaurant (see picture below) called Monster DownTown #monsterdowntown where you can get a great food and beverages.

Very nice old building. Rooms quite basic, clean. Great location in the center. No problem with parking place (paid zone). Breakfast ok. Good value for money

Very nice hotel. The room is old, but renew and clear. The bathroom small and clear too.
The breakfast is good and enough, but there are no vegetables just pickles. I love pickles for scrambled eggs. The price is not too cheap, but the juice made from sirup.
