Auris Hotel in Szeged

I came with my cousin to celebrate my Birthday and I didn’t know what to expect but I was absolutely delighted with this lovely hotel! Its location was ideal 5min from the Dom square. Above all the staff were fantastic, welcoming and they made up the sofa bed for my cousin so we could both spread out! I was also greeted with a bottle of champagne for my birthday. The rooms were quiet, cosy and spacious! A special thanks to Virag on reception for her attentive service throughout our stay! I also have to add that the breakfasts was delicious so many selections of hot and cold food items! A lovely stay and a memorable birthday!

We, as a family (5of us) were very satisfied of everything. The room was nice and neat and tidy. The breakfast room was cozy, little but cozy… meals are good, I prefer vegan choice, there was some. Lication is perfect, downtown is 5 mins. And what really impressed me, I left something in the room, and they sent me it… thx!!

The location is somewhere in the middle between the city centre and the railway station, both can easily be reached on foot (if one doesn't have any luggage for the train). Reception was friendly, but I was first given a room that I didn't like at all. Number 701 is in a building at the back, on a third floor without elevator and with a tiny window. I didn't like it, so I went back to the reception to ask for an upgrade. It was possible for an additional 10 USD. This time I was in the main building, on the third floor with elevator and with a balcony overlooking the swimming-pool and a school. The room had no fridge and no lamp by the writing desk. The double bed with one sheet had two mattresses pushed together with quite a gap in between. The bathroom was equipped with a big tub, which I didn't need. What annoyed me there was the long faucet in the washbasin, which made it very hard to wash one's hands underneath it. Breakfast is in the cellar, but the choice of items was fine.

Pleasant stay on an attractive property
Property very attractive. Small but comfortable room. Well located. Staff attentive and helpful.
Some of the minor negatives. Lack of elevator in 2nd building not mentioned anywhere. No Kleenex in room. Had to request more toilet paper since only one roll was supplied for a 2 night stay.

What a lovely stay. Lovely room, beautiful bathroom. Car parking limited, but managed to get on site. Friendly staff, great breakfast! Would stay again

Very clean and easy access to everywhere we wanted to go. The breakfast was complementary and it was superb. During our stay, weather was very hot and the swimming pool was a welcome addition. Very memorable stay.

I can't wright a good review about this hotel because I made the booking from the beggining of October for 2 nights and when I arrived at the hotel in the evening of 7 of December, they told me their hotel is not listed on Trip.com so, my reservation is not available. They were full booked and here we are, not having where to stay night in December...awfull from their side.

We've just enjoyed a one night stay here. Amazing!

Check in: Smooth and helpful. Maps available and recommendations of local places to eat. Free lemonade and sweets.

Rooms: Spacious and clean. Furniture on the balcony. Little touches like chocolate on the bed, coffee pods, and free body wash and hand wash.

Breakfast: A wide range of options. Either hot or cold. Plus champagne.

Pool: Great with Jacuzzi. We did not use on this stay.

Staff: Friendly and so helpful.

Location: In the centre of Szeged and close to all the bars and restaurants.

Highly recommend and we will be back in the near future.

We arrived from Budapest for a two night stay. The staff and the were extremely helpful and offered help with the next leg of our journey to Serbia. A welcoming cool drink was appreciated. We were assigned a great room, with a jazucci (we didn’t use it)outside on our patio on the fourth floor. A free bottle of Hungarian sparkling wine was also appreciated. Overall a great experience. It was the seasonally hot in Hungary this August and air-con could have been a few degrees cooler.

It's a clean well furnished new hotel with a small but functional garden area + pool, very appreciated parking area at a great location.
They do not have a proper restaurant on site however nearby are a great selection of restaurants and even if you choose to order in that's an option which fits the many tables they have in the lobby area and rooms if you so choose.
The lobby bar/cafe/reception has on offer some drinks which is a welcome convenience.

Very pleasant and helpful staff.
