We've been here for Valentine's day menu and the food was excellent. Best was the main course, they really know what to do with meat. But the best part of the whole experience by far was the gentleman who was our server. Best server we ever met, even though we don't speak hungarian. Friendly, funny and helpful. We really recommend this restaurant.

Zita, lady who worked at the front desk was absolutely helpful and proffesional, we need more people like her. The hotel itself is "okay", rooms clean, breakfast nice. It has a sauna, but the room has enough space to put a jacuzzi in, so do it please. One more time-Zita very very kind and helpfull.

We were in the hotel Amstel - Gyor from 17 to 19 August this year. We are fascinated by everything. Rooms are clean and after renovation. Stuff is very friendly and helful. The biggiest issue is bad breakfast. Fruit and vegetables was already not edible, bakery old and very linited offer what to eat. Practically bread and butter maybe with jam or salami if you take a risk.Hotel restaurant was closed at that time.

It's really nice here. The staff was unexpectedly nice and the decorations were creatively designed. I have spent time mostly on the second floor: it has enormous windows with beautiful views. The meal was also great, but not the best I've eaten. My biggest complaint is the restroom, because I found it really small for a building this huge. I recommend the place to try!

I am staying in this hotel and dining in the restaurant for over 5 years. Here I find real Hungarian hospitality, no matter how late I arrive at night. Very friendly owners and staff, great food. The owner is a sommerlier and reached me a lot about great Hungarian wines. In summertime there is a terrace at the board of the river.

Very good familly hotel at walking distance from Gyor downtown. Very clean rooms and environment. The check in was a little bit long as the receptionist was new in this position and was not speaking easily englush. Nevertheless we have received good support to print our train tickets. Good breakfast as well. Very good ration price vs quality

I didn't miss anything. Approximately 18 minutes walk to the city centre. Accessible parking after passing through the gate - a big plus. Breakfast was sufficient for me. There was everything I wanted, the rooms were clean, neat. Tidy in every room. I will definitely choose this hotel on my next trips to Gyor!

Clean hotel. Very pleasant and helpful staff. Paid parking, but secure and spacious. Reception open 24/7, and the reception staff speaks English. The city center is a 15-minute walk away.

Great place to stay to travel anywhere. Spa facility is a plus and private parking provides easy access.

Decent hotel and offer sauna is a plus. Included breakfast is also great. Walking stairs with luggages is no fun.

The price is normal, the service was also, the only thing I'm taking off a star for is that a woman was singing around 4am and woke us up, otherwise the elderly gentleman at the reception was funny

We showed up without a booking at 23:30 as we were driving late and needed a place to stay for the night. The door was open and there was a doorbell to ring in the reception. The older gentleman, who I assume was the owner, came to greet us. We only speak English, and he did not, but he was very patient and communicated with us that there were unfortunately no rooms. No problem arriving at 9PM, with two dogs, and our room had entrance from the street. Very nice! Clean, and a nice host too! We recommend this price worthy hotel!

Really nice place, warm feelings. Gabro, the owner, I think, is very nice old man from first seconds we were in Also it's cheaper, than anything in town. Yes, it's not luxury hotel. But it is cozy guest house

Really nice place to stay, the hotel keeper is friendly and accommodating and it was fairly quiet. Abit annoying he lets pets stay but that’s a positive for some so generally a lovely little accommodation.

We had a late arrival. Even though we woke him up, the receptionist didnt care, he was even making jokes in Hungarian that only he understood. He was 70 years old. The room was probably older than him (and te TV even more) but it was cute. All in all a nice experience. Maybe a little bit pricey for this part of the planet..

Again pet hate unmanned Hotel. Says restaurant as a facility but does not exist. This is why I booked here so big let down. Lots of driving only to discover I have to drive again to find food.

Kind and professional staff on duty. Breakfast not terrible. Rooms clean. Not within walking distance to the city center but in perfect location for travelers on their cars.
