Guesthouse Dyngja in Hofn

Really nice location opposite the small harbour. We stayed in the Studio (1) in winter. The room was clean and comfortable and several restaurants are just a short walk away. There’s a Netto supermarket 450 away and a couple of gas stations in the village. Worth filling up in Höfn if you are travelling either East or West.

Lovely little guesthouse, only concern was the size of the bedrooms, they are very small. We were only staying one night so it was okay but if staying longer you might want a bit more room. Restaurants right across the street so very convenient.

The service was not given a full score because it was a self-service check-in, and there was no on-site service. The phone and email contact was still very smooth. .
I didn't expect the hotel to be right across from the XHS Internet celebrity lobster restaurant. It was very clean. I took off my shoes and entered the room. It was very quiet. Although it was full, the guests were very quiet. I didn't expect the shared bathroom to be so clean. It seems that the quality of the guests is very high. We also cleaned the kitchen used for breakfast by ourselves. This feeling is very good.

It's clean and the location is great.

Room was clean, tidy and adequate for a family of four. The guesthouse is located conveniently to a cluster of restaurants, and easily accessible from the main road.

The owner of this B&B is very friendly, the kitchen equipment is very advanced, the indoor environment is clean, and the room faces the lake, which is very beautiful. I will book this B&B again next time. It is very good.
