Lovely central location to lots of the most popular tourist attractions. We stayed two nights and three would have been better to cover everything we wanted to see. Lovely breakfast, happy hour drinks and restaurant on site. Perfectly clean and free parking on site.

The room was very good and clean, and the breakfast was one of the best we had in Iceland.
There is an option if you wish to be notified in case of Aurora.
Also the location is very good, at Myvatn lake, a nice place to visit.

One of the best hotels we stayed at during our trip around Iceland. Clean rooms with very kind and attentive staff. Very good breakfast and a great view from the rooms. Highly recommended!

Great location. The staff is friendly and very helpful. We were caught in a storm and spent 2 days, the only disappointment that we had no TV service. The food was excellent, especially the wild game menu.

Overall not a bad location. Food at the restaurant was great but you're in for a long dinner.
Upon checking in my room was over heated to 35 degrees Celsius. That's way too warm. Only getting one towel and no mat to put down by the shower led to slippery situation.

Nice modern hotel that stands by itself on a rise offering panoramic views in all directions. The rooms and bedding are comfortable and there are plenty of public spaces for guests to relax. The windows are equipped with roll down bug screens (the lake is renowned for its midgies). This was a first for us in Iceland. All in all a nice relaxing stop for us on our tour round Iceland.

Our stay here was so good we stayed for an extra night! The location was great given its proximity to Reykjahlíð and the rooms were clean and modern. The person at the front desk was very kind and even offered to make ginger tea when a member of our party came down with a cold. The giant windows were a huge plus and were the icing the cake. Additionally, the restaurant there was top notch!

Rather small rooms and bath rooms (as too often in Iceland). Decent breakfast. Good price in April.
