Can see Aurora outside right outside the hotel, it’s quite clean but only the shower water will become cold for seconds

Very happy with our stay here. Cheap and cheerful. Rooms were small but cosy and blackout blinds were fantastic for a good night's sleep. View out onto lava fields was lovely. Breakfast was really great. A step up from the usual guesthouse breakfast we've experienced here in Iceland. There were fresh croissants, pancakes as well as super fresh bread.

Nice stay of 1 night Quite central for Lake Mývatn with petrol pump supermarket at walking distance. Quite a spacious apartment with 2 separate bedrooms and a living area and a good kitchen. Early check in offered for no additional cost.

Although it was old, it was kept clean, and the kitchen tools were well-organized with nothing missing. I also saw the aurora.

The hotel provides good service with helping the clothes washing. And u could easily pick up in the day. Soooo nice!

We stayed in a brand new cabin and although the door was fussy, it was cozy and served its purpose. I liked looking out over the lava flows to the lake.

Really nice campsite with good facilities. There was a problem with the hot water when we checked in, and a number of people in the reception office complaining, but the woman at the desk handled it all with impressive professionalism.

The service was excellent, the rooms were clean, the breakfast was good, and parking was convenient.

The place was very clean, and it was easy to check-in. The kitchen was big and well furnished, but got a bit disappointed seeing there wasn’t cooking oil, salt or pepper. The bunk beds were comfortable enough, but the lack of privacy curtains was a bit off putting. The room with two bunk-beds was very small for four people. It was hot, stuffy and poorly soundproofed. We spent three nights there and EVERY night there was quite a big fat spider on the ceiling. First night - spider has rappelled on the head of our son. He awoke, saw the spider above his face and awoke all of us. So far it was the best place we stayed in in Iceland. The room was confortable, the shared bathroom big and clean. The kitchen had everything you could need and the dining area was cosy, which isn't the case in many places. Would recommend!

Hotel room was good for the night. This space was very clean and close by to the town. The heated floors are a nice touch. Last minute we decided to try the breakfast buffet. For the price you t might be better to get some pastries or a sandwich at the local gas station as the selection of food was very limited.

The hotel is very nicely located next to Lake Mytvan and can see the sunset and sunrise from the dining room as well as the room. We saw the northern light ftom our room window.Breakfast is good and the dinner at the restaurant was fantastic.Highly recommended, one the the best hotel we stayed in Iceland.

Amazing location. Very close to thermal warm baths ( blue lagoon of the north *) and vulcano. The guest house is very cosy and the cabins also + the kitchen we could use was very well equipped. The double room itself with clean and comfy. The attached bathroom is small but also very clean. Also the staff was super friendly and welcoming. The location directly at the lake is phenomenal. Our group stayed in one of the cottages here. Beds were comfy enough. Kitchen was stocked with dishes and utensils to use. We didn't originally book here but we were sent here after our original room at a different guesthouse was impracticable due to water damage. We couldn't have been happier of what we found! This guesthouse was wonderful. The rooms were coozy and clean but more than anything spacious. On top of that you get to enjoy an amazing view while drinking coffee.

Wow!! One of our favorite stays in Iceland. We unfortunately got a flat driving to the hotel, and it was pouring rain, and we got delayed about 2 hours arriving to hotel taking away our only night experience- but the hotel was accommodating and checked us in no problem. Common areas are nice but the rooms are on the smaller scale. Sink in the bathroom was so tiny that it was very difficult to wash my face. Pillows were way too flat and had zero support. Breakfast was nice but same as everywhere else in Iceland. Dinner had a normal Icelandic price tag but don’t order the lasagna or mushroom soup.

The view is beautiful, the staff very friendly (and they know a lot about the area) and the breakfast is good. But the rooms are tiny and smell of eggs (especially the bathroom) and I don't like that you only get one room key. Also we weren't allowed to sit in the restaurant (only the small area next to it) because they waited for a group (they only filled 2 out of 10 tables).

Very nice hotel, pretty well situated when spending few nights in the area (and less expensive as well than others). Beautiful view over the lake and next to the craters' trail. Wow! Oli is a welcoming host and the property is sweet, natural and lovely. Tucked at the end of the road and adorned with terns the home features a hot spring in the backyard with a true hot pot, over 100 F. A little piece of heaven, Haraldur is the perfect host that makes you feel like home. The house and rooms are well decorated. There are 3 bedrooms and a big shared bathroom. The best of it is a swimming pool and a natural SPA of about 40 degrees. It is worth going!

A really nice accomodation with comfortable and clean beds, nice rooms and good breakfast. The view is astonishing and there is even a private hot tub free to use right in front of our door. Icelandic horses are right in front of our room, a mother and its foal. So cute! And we saw some soft northern lights!

Clean simple rooms, breakfast was nice standard fare, and they even had real maple syrup for the pancakes. The owner was so nice - it was about 15 minutes after breakfast was officially over (10a) and she asked the kids if they wanted more pancakes. Definitely caring, kind hosts.

We were on this farm in August 2021, it was a very nice stay, good breakfast, very nice spacious rooms and really nice hosts. Don't be afraid of animals if you stay here, sheep, chickens and their dogs Bruno & blueeye roam freely on the farm (I particularly enjoyed that). We enjoyed it very much, it was one of our nicest stays.

Easily the best place I have stayed on my trip around Iceland! The owners are the nicest people who make you feel so welcome. The rooms are great and the breakfast is homemade deliciousness. I will make staying here again top priority the next time I visit Iceland!

It was lovely and warm. The cottages facilities were satisfactory for our needs. The location was very convenient for exploring the Myvatan area. The views were fantastic, and would have been perfect for auroras. The Hot tub was excellent, easy to use and really nice way to warm up when it was -10c.

The unit we occupied was between two others. So, a little like a motel, but with a lovely rural atmosphere. Lovely little table set on the deck which overlooked the pastures. At the corner of the building was a hot tub which the owner filled upon arrival with geothermal water, which was then emptied after we'd gone to bed. We stayed at Langavatn Guesthouse for one night during our trip around Iceland. Customer service was amazing, and the rooms were clean and nice. The breakfast was simple, but had everything we needed. We had a nice riverside view from our room. The receptionist, presumably the owner of the guesthouse, gave us some great tips about the local area! 10/10 would recommend!

Good location, attention it is difficult to access with a city car. Kitchen and living room ok, however the bedrooms are poorly insulated.

Guesthouse a few kilometers away from Husavik. The house has 5 double bedrooms, a fairly equipped kitchen, a nice dining room and a corner with sofa and coffee table. The facility is clean and functional. Outdoors there are games (swings ..) suitable for children. The house is on the banks of a stream. Very characteristic! Recommended!

One of the best Airbnb at Húsavík! If you are lucky, get hold of Room 1. The only room with a great view! Easy check in and location is just 10mins away from Husavik town!

We cannot say enough great things about this guesthouse. Easy self check in, room was clean, bed was comfortable and bathroom spacious. The view from the porch was gorgeous. The big plus was the stocked kitchenette with a refrigerator. Not to mention the best cold water I have ever tasted coming out of the faucet. Would definately stay here again.

Quiet place to stay between Husavik and Myvatn. Remote check in was simple and the view was great. We loved the deck with chairs and table to eat dinner at with a view of the Atlantic.
