Great accommodation, clean and with a beautiful view of the village. The responsible crew at the reception and also the cleaning team. I enjoyed staying there, will come back soon surely! :)

I was a bit worried initially from some of the bad reviews but actually pleasantly surprised. Rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. Yes it’s a university building some time of the year but actually really good. Highly recommend. Private en-suite bathroom too.

Rooms were ok, quite tight. TV in room was a pleasant surprise until we realized there are no channels. Cleanliness could use an upgrade - there was remnants of lipstick on the drinking glasses in the bathroom.

Despite the above still giving 5 stars due to exceptional service. The front desk staff, specifically Kasper, went out of his way to try and help us brainstorm solutions for putting through an insurance claim for a chipped windshield. Thank you again!

We have stayed in hotels like this before (college dorms turned hotel in the summer) so we knew what to expect. However the shared bathrooms were dirty, and had no soap, toilet paper, or paper towels and were not maintained.

The hotel in Iceland was not too bad, but for the price, I expected more in terms of equipment and services. The room was quite basic, and amenities were limited. However, the location is excellent and very convenient for exploring the area. Overall, it’s okay for a short stay, but there’s room for improvement.

Fun with the corridor names, I was in Jotunheim myself, which was a bit worrying, but I had my Thor's hammer with me so I was safe. 😁
Joking aside, nice hotel for me, good distance to everything, good service and nice staff.

This hotel ceases to be a student residence during the summer. The rooms are clearly for student use. There is an elevator available upon request and only for people with reduced mobility. The breakfast buffet is acceptable.
There is a proper restaurant on the other side.

The room was very clean, and parking was free. Although the bathroom was shared, it was also very clean. There was no kitchen, but the restaurant provided me with two plates. Overall, it was a very good experience.

Great room with private bathroom. It does not feel like a standard hotel because it is a dorm used as a hotel during summer - which is perfectly fine! When I had an issue with my room the manager helped me out great and went above and beyond what he was supposed to do! Thank you.

Hotel was ok, but the staff were unprofessional. The guy at reception burped very loudly (!!!) while we were checking out and the young girls working in the restaurant where less than helpful.
Share your experiences, help others make the right choice!
Think about what you would like to know if you were looking for a review about a place to relax. Please describe in detail what you liked and what you didn't. What would you advise to other guests and to the hotel owner. The more fully you tell about the hotel, the easier it will be for other people to make a choice and they will be very grateful to you!
