Hotel Edda ML Laugarvatn in Laugarvatn

First night go there, room was super hot had to open window, millions of mosquitos! The next morning I woke with a bunch of “mosquito bites” I told myself let’s give another chance, I came back the next night after been out, I laid in bed without T-shirt again room was too hot.! No windows open this time I started getting bites on my back it was BED BugsTHIS WHOLE TIME.. horrible my entire legs and arms were full of bed bugs. I ask for another room and it’s and I end spraying mosquito repellent but next morning different room same problem. Bed bugs.. just to clarify this is the the actual hotel they use a boarding school as second source once actual hotel is full. We called Hotels.com to get money back only for the 2 nights left, to get a different hotel, the hotel refuse to give money back even tho I couldn’t sleep in their beds, they expected me to stay there another 2 nights with this horrible scenario.. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!! I’ve been in many country’s, Jamaica, Mexico, Brazil, Honduras, republica, never had issue with BED BUGS, believe me I’ve only heard about it,but the inching it’s horrible even tho I applied a bunch anti-itching medicine.. I never expected to come to Europe and deal with this issue. Don’t get me wrong country it’s nice this was the second Hotel we stayed in, the first one was Frost and Fire hotel was amazing!! No ISSUES!!! Very disappointed with this hotel.. Edda i hope you take serious attention to this issue with bed bugs... I will never stay in this hotel ever!!! Iceland and everything else Amazing, just 1bad experience.. I hope this help people prevent from having problems like this on their vacation and paying for a hotel that’s it’s not worth or care about guess.. I had my 3 year old with me and as a parent I don’t wish this too anyone with kids! I hope this help other families and parents.
