PLEASE DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL

The only good thing about this hotel is the location.
The hotel needs serious restoration, it’s so fragile I am afraid if someone sneezes it might just fall apart.

The room fittings are seriously very old.
The bedding is old and discoloured very yellowish, and when I questioned they said “ Ma’am it’s not”

I ordered soup and it had half a bottle of black pepper almost impossible to eat. The sofas in the reception area is stained and looks unclean.

I also found dust under the bed.

The washroom was clean and upto the mark, no complains except there was no hand-wash, there was everything else ( shampoo, body wash) and I had to order my own hand wash. I wonder do people not wash hands.

Staff is very very very rude I have never seen this before.

One last thing very very very uncomfortable mattresses.

PLEASE DO NOT MAKE A MISTAKE AND BOOK THIS PLACE

I recently stayed at The Capitol and also attended a business meet there. The conference hall was very good, well-equipped, and comfortable for a professional gathering. The lunch buffet was also good with a nice variety of dishes. While the rooms are good and the hotel’s proximity to the city center is a huge advantage for commuting, the breakfast was not excellent and could use more improvement in terms of taste and spread. Overall, a solid choice for business events.

I had booked a room in hotel for a conference purpose via third party and confirmed my booking by calling directly to the capitol hotel staff name Sangeetha. On the day of conference morning I asked about the confirmation and checkin time and the staff confirmed . At the time of checkin the reception staff Chandrakala said that they can't give the room because it was not confirmed, talked with the manager who gave vague replies. I got the room by paying extra money.
About the room-Very bad and old room without any cleanliness.
Please think twice before Booking a room in this hotel.

For the prices they charge, it's definitely not worth it. found a cockroach in my breakfast, The facilities are old and not updated, 1 lift in the whole property. The internet is open network and check the phone in image sic and the charges are of a 5 star.. That too I paid in advance.
Had just moved from Chancery which was way better.

The rooms were good and spacious but had to be behind the reception for very small things required in the room like the room given to us had issues with washroom, had to get it repaired. After multiple requests, we got another room allocated. But the worst is the hot water service, inspite of repeated request, there was no hot water. Again had to call up the reception and get it fixed.
Definitely there is no doubt about location since it located at center of the city.

Thank you for the great experience at Hotel Capitol, Raj Bhawan Road. The location is prime and easily accessible. Rooms were well-maintained, staff was courteous, and the overall ambiance was classy and peaceful. I especially liked the food – both the quality and variety were impressive. Highly recommended for both business and leisure stays. Looking forward to visiting again!

Location is very nice and walking distance to cricket stadium. Hotel premises and facilities also good.

Rooms and interiors are very old and needs an upgrade.

Prime location. Rooms might need some renovation, especially the bathrooms and plumbing system. otherwise service and food is good.

Zero for cleanliness. Even the tissues on the table were smudged with dust. The wash area looked terrible.
