Dont stay here. Breakfast is horrible. Only 1 fruit, toast, 1 paratha curd and boiled eggs.
More like a lodge rather than hotel. Very small entrance to the hotel too. Big cars like innova can get in after difficulty.

Hotel Diplomat is a comfortable and well-located property in Chanakyapuri. The rooms are clean, the staff is courteous, and overall the stay experience is pleasant and smooth. The ambience and service make it a good choice for both business and short stays.
However, the breakfast spread is quite limited. The options are mostly restricted to paratha, curd, papaya, one juice, bread, boiled eggs, and potatoes. It would be much better if they could improve the variety or at least rotate the breakfast menu to add more choices.
On the positive side, the food is tasty. Their butter chicken and mix veg are definitely worth trying. Another plus is that the hotel has a bar, so if you want to grab a drink, you do have that option within the property.
Overall, apart from the limited breakfast options, everything else is good and well-managed. A solid stay with scope for improvement in breakfast variety.

The place was spotless, staff was helpful and accommodating to my late check in and request to check of late check out. Had a wonderful experience

Staff is pleasant but facilities are now old and dated. Leaky shower doors which flood the bathroom floor. You have to run hot water tap for 20 minutes before you gat any warm water. Linen and towels are sadly old, grungy and thread bare Leaky bathroom faucets. See photos

Would have given 5 Star if the hotel had Hot water supply. Great location, clean rooms, good ambience but had to take bath with cold water even after informing the desk. At this price point hot water for bath is basic inclusion.

There was no parking for the car. Room was smelling. Ac was not working so there was no ventilation. Bed kept making sounds could not sleep for even 1 minute. Washroom was too small couldn’t even shower well. I had asked for a better room but they said this is the only room. I will write a review about the property soon. Experience was do bad that you expect me to click pictures of the property

Good location, poor service
Location is good but service is between poor and lousy. I had to wait more than 10 minutes in inchecking although there were no other customers. The rooms are not tiptop but ok. The co-operation between hotel and restaurant does not work.

Food is awesome. We had Kakori kabab, chicken Tikka and mutton Rogan Josh.. Everything was so delicious. Staff is little rude and arrogant. One of their staff noted wrong order and when we refused to accept it he started blaming us only and misbehaved.

The Oudh is a fine dining Awadhi cuisine restaurant. The decor (beautiful paintings, furniture & crockery) gives a feel that you are dining in the times of mughals.
Their menu translated in 7-8 different languages, has a large variety of awadhi dishes, some of them are never heard of before. The Oudh is my all time favourite place. One cannot start their meal without having the exquisite kebabs & mocktails (sharbats). Special mention goes for "hariyali kebab", "lehsooni malai tikka" & "barfeeli bahar".
