Jayam Residency Periamet Hotel

It is ok to either cancel your trip or sleep on roads of Chennai but never ever book Jayam residence in Chennai. I had a horrific experience there.
They charged extra and unnecessarily upgraded rooms to AC rooms as I reached in the late evening, I had no other option but to shut up and pay extra.

It's very Worst Lodge. This lodge Not Suitable For family Stay. Try to other Best lodge.

The hotel staff and oye both are very cunning and coordinated. They created an environment of openly looting customers money. Oye reserved the room as spot on deal for Rs.1000 non AC where photo appears to give as great deal. Once I went there on check in date the hotel staff firmly say they don’t have AC rooms. Later they say they have but it costs Rs. 600 extra for upgtage. They suggested change booking with oye or cancel Oye so that they can give AC room for 1000.When tried in Oye it don’t have room change option in same hotel. The customer service number dot work. Chat bot has limited options. When I canceled the booking as hotel denied entry it did with out asking even remarks and with zero refund. Now the dram from staff started here. They created check in and even new paper receipts for the advance at the front desk but they firmly say they don’t give them now. They only give with in one hour after checkout. They receipts are typical old style with carbon papers to create multiple copies obviously to give one to customer, one for government /hotel. If they are sending cuputer statements why on earth they choose full old style paper bills. Now the one night stay has all other issues as many customers said. They the rooms are decent the first room give has not water due to problems in taps and flush tank. AC don’t work in night. Lift only in afternoon during the check in times. I had to change to other room at night. As the trip ends in the morning once checked out once again the assured they send soft copy of bill. It is nearly 24 hours not received. It is first time in my life some body who writes paper receipts with even customer sign on it and reject to give a copy of it . Not a convincing reason. Well the most foolish part is once you go inside the hotel room there is a poster saying AC room 1000 and non AC Rs.800 as attached to this comment. This is convincing but you given the local market but how do we no this before hand from another city. The whole experience is to fool you and loot money as much as they can get irritating customer. Being nice with all this stupid actions earns only bad reputation. I don’t recommend neither Oye nor Jayam hotels Chennai if this their approach to customer engagement that lead to double payment, sub par room facilities on top misleading staff conversions. Wish them good luck.

This hotel service is very poor.Many times tv, ac does not work. If asked the people who work there do not have the right answer.When a call comes in from a customer service center they say the problem is not getting the right answer either.

Totally worst jayam residency.
