The hotel is good, and the service was very nice. There was a wide spread of options in the buffet. The initial room we were given had a damp smell, but as soon as I reported it, the staff promptly swapped it for a better one. Overall, it was a good experience.

The entrance and lobby are spectacular. The rooms are a shocking disappointment. The furnishings were faded and the flooring scuffed. The first room smelled of wet dog. We asked for another room and that one smelled of mildew. They didn't have any other rooms so we settled for wet dog. We have visited there for a official meeting and conclave. The hotel is located on the prime spot and luxurious hotel close to the amenities of the city. Of course ITC is an awesome place to stay in Chennai. We stayed in their apartment style rooms with full kitchen and washer dry for two weeks. Rooms are old but comfortable and clean. One of my fav places to stay when in chennai. And primarily for the food. Breakfast, kunch or dinner there's always a different choice of cuisine and royalty in service to choose from. Rooms are decently spacious and quiet enough despite being in the middle of a busy city. Breakfast spread is lavish and yet can be s kil chaotic with too many people coming in at the same time. The rooms are spacious, the hotel offers a wide range of amenities (including airport transportation, fresh fruit daily, etc.), the service is exceptional, and the hotel bar offers a good selection.

I find their location is abit further away from main part of Chennai, the staff constantly check on guest which is good and everyone is welcoming with a smile. The lobby is great. Facilities is nothing to scream about. For the price I expect a bigger room and a better service all together

Hotel looks old and too far to some locations. Didn't like the room given on the first day. Front office staff Mr Akash was very helpful to change our rooms the next day. And the conceige ( I forgot his name) was very helpful too. We had a nice stay there.

The breakfast was excellent, as well as the services that the staffs had provided. However, the hotel aged, so some of the facilities in the room are malfunctional.

Great location, helpful staff, decent breakfast spread and large rooms make it a good pick. The beds, however, need an urgent replacement. Though the hotel asks guests not to smoke many of them do smoke in the rooms and that can be a challenge. I had to change my room/floor because of this issue. But, the staff was very helpful.

The room is 4-star, for example -uncomfortable bed, very old shower and no window. Receptionists and bellboys were charming but we had a bad experience at the restaurant with the waiter, also some dishes with low quality despite the very high prices.
