The hotel is good, and the service was very nice. There was a wide spread of options in the buffet. The initial room we were given had a damp smell, but as soon as I reported it, the staff promptly swapped it for a better one. Overall, it was a good experience.

Of course ITC is an awesome place to stay in Chennai. We stayed in their apartment style rooms with full kitchen and washer dry for two weeks. Rooms are old but comfortable and clean. One of my fav places to stay when in chennai. And primarily for the food. Breakfast, kunch or dinner there's always a different choice of cuisine and royalty in service to choose from. The Taj Wellington Mews in Chennai is an excellent hotel, very close to IIT, Madras and the Institute of Mathematical Sciences near Adyar area of Chennai.
