Hotel Atulyaa Taj

I would say the money you spend here you rather go to another hotel. When we walked in there we felt racially discriminated even though we are Indians but we are treated differently to the white tourists. As soon as we arrived they gave us a room that was on the ground floor that was supposed to be “an upgrade” to our booking. The bedding in the room was in an appalling condition as well as the bathroom. We went back and asked for our original room booking. They still chose to give us a room that was not worth the price we paid. The bathroom fittings were in terrible condition and there was no hot water. The one night the water ran out completely while I was showering. I feel like the staff at this hotel give good rooms to white customers only as we found that they even put other local indians into rooms in the ground floor which is not in great condition. I am disappointed to be treated in this way as a foreign tourist myself. The only good thing was the breakfast and the location is a 10 minute walk to The Taj Mahal.
