Astral Maris Hotel in Eilat

Room is not perfect specially a door

Good hotel. Nothing really special. I had a Nice room. There's a nice swimming pool outside on the roof. The meals are very good. There is no fitness room. Also no shoe shine kit and no sewing kit in the room. I couldn't find any reason to prefer this hotel over other hotels in Eilat.

I went with my partner for 3 days/2 night at the Astral Maris hotel beginning of August to relax/break the routine. The positive point - The room is a good size, with a bathtub and shower. The bed is comfortable. You get everything you need even a kettle if you want a tea or coffee. - The staff of the restaurant is great, helping and in a good mood. The dinner food was good with a good choice of meals. - The pool is big enough and was not so crowded. The negative point - When we performed check in the receptionist was not English speaker. We were able to communicate but a bit weird for a hotel in Eilat. - The breakfast was not amazing. Not a lot of choices and the cakes were not amazing. - At the pool, there is not enough deck chairs and umbrellas. On top, people are drinking glass bottles of beer and even smoke in the pool and the lifeguard or staff don’t say anything. Also, everyone put his music on his own speaker, at one stage 3 groups of people had so loud music on their speakers. Not relaxing at all. Overall the hotel is good quality price however they definitely need to be more strict on the rules at the pool as everyone does what he wants. A special thanks to a manager called Guy. He is amazing, friendly, helpful, polite and was helping/doing everything and everywhere at the restaurant, at the pool ..,, amazing guy.
