A unique hotel in a wonderful location: by the beach, close to the old port of Joppa and the Carmel market. The food at this hotel is a wonderful showcase of Israeli cuisine, and the chef deserves my congratulations. I recommend a room with a sea view, which will lull you to sleep and wake you up. The rooms are clean and smell wonderful. The staff's work is a mixture of professionalism and extraordinary Israeli hospitality. I felt very safe there. Every member of staff I met deserves praise because they try very hard. The reception staff took good care of us, regardless of who we encountered during our 4-night stay. I will never forget the first welcome by Noy and her warm ‘Shalom’. During a 10-minute conversation with Miri at the reception desk, I learned more about the attractions and extraordinary places in Israel than I did from hours of reading guidebooks. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to feel at home in Israel.

The breakfast was excellent the coffee always available was great and the staff gave me a bottle of wine for my birthday they were wonderful. The only thing about the room is that there was no luggage rack chair for your luggage to sit on so I had to put it on the floor.

I highly recommend the hotel. The location is great. Very close by the sea and close to a lot of restaurants in the neighbourhood. I stayed only 2 nights. The breakfast was nice. Missing maybe some normal bread but it was for sure very complete. Little downside. My room with seaview was nice thought the noise from the street is 24/7. For some guests this might be a problem.

Great for the price

Staff was very helpful every step of the way. Check in was easy with no surprises and very friendly Breakfast staff was very friendly and very helpful. Accommodated all special requests. Perfect location for the beach, great area restaurants, and walking on the promenade along the beach. Main street was a little noisy at times but did not affect to stay. Loved being so close to the beach and the promenade. We took morning and evening walks north to the and south to Jaffa. The hotel also made the parking in their garage very convenient with our rental car. Made the whole experience more enjoyable The room was big and we had a view to the sea, which was nice. And the room was always clean. The hotel felt very clean.

Small family operation, Arbas winery very friendly. Able to see and enjoy true Spanish food and wine in a wonderful inviting atmosphere.

Welcome in the room with champagne I don’t drink but ended up sipping just to celebrate.

They welcomed me with smiles inviting me to celebrate Rosh Hashanah by the reception area. The lady who worked at night was so helpful when I was worried no responding from Gett for my taxi reservation for this morning. All worked out. Will b back in Israel in March and if stay in Tel Aviv this is my #1 hotel completely differently of Orchid that wasn’t friendly at all. Thank you

We’re not lovers of the huge hotels along the Tel Aviv coastline but do like being near the beach. The Jewel is one of the few boutique hotels that’s on the beach & kosher. Rooms are small but beautifully designed . The bathrooms have large ,powerful walk in showers. Lovely L’Occitane accessories, dressing gowns,bath sheets & beach towels. We chose a room with a balcony that gave us views of the sea & constant lines of joggers on the promenade. Israeli breakfasts substantial with a great variety of salads Cooked eggs can be ordered except on Shabbat. Nice bar on roof . Wine bar in lobby but didn’t eat there as no English menu & waiter’s English not adequate. I pointed this out to the charming owner who said this would be addressed. The staff are very courteous,helpful & I must give a shout out for the lovely Filipino server at breakfast. Lots of lovely touches, particularly the refreshing fragrance pumped throughout the public areas. Highly recommended
