Hotel Delfino in Milano Marittima

The hotel is further out of the way than Milano Marittima and closer to Cervia. A five-minute walk takes you to Cervia by ferry across the canal for less than a euro. The hotel is seafront and has a very well-organized partner beach club, the "Oreste." The building is a bit dated, and the first thing that strikes you is the exterior. There are neglected flowerbeds, broken vases with dead plants, and a sidewalk littered with rubbish and weeds everywhere. Unsightly! It feels like a closed-off hotel. What a shame. And then there's the steep, long staircase to get in. It's truly absurd, considering a guest is almost certainly carrying a suitcase. The lobby is small, with a vending machine and three elevators. The staff is friendly and helpful. Another negative is the pool—specifically, the hot tub next to the pool. It hasn't been working for who knows how long, which also casts a bad light on the hotel. If the outdoor area had been more carefully maintained and the hot tub had been working, I would have definitely raised my rating. Because in the end, I was very happy with the room. It was very spacious, comfortably furnished, with a refrigerator and safe. The bathroom was spacious with a shower, a window, and a small balcony overlooking the sea. Breakfast was also a plus: delicious cakes, pastries, fruit, yogurt, and even savory options. Nothing to complain about!
