Camping Portofelice in Eraclea Mare

Mixed Experience at Portofelice – Great Potential but let down by Service.

We’ve just returned from an 11-night stay at Portofelice and, overall, had a very enjoyable holiday – the setting is beautiful, the facilities are clean and well-maintained, and our kids had a fantastic time. However, repeated issues with customer service did take the shine off what could have been a truly standout experience. I’m writing this review to provide a balanced and detailed account for anyone considering this resort.

We had a lovely holiday here. The pools and jacuzzis are great. Beach is lovely and the location is great for Venice and surrounding areas such as Caorle and Lido de Jesolo. The staff were very good and friendly. The ice cream and food was quality. The setting is picturesque, birds singing, with lots of lovely pine forestry to walk around in the shade, and the atmosphere is very nice here. Some of the drinks are quite pricey and some of the supermarket food. But you expect this in more remote camps. The road can be noisy if you're near it, but there's not much they can do about that and we got used it. It got quieter when it was not the Italian bank holiday. They do 1-2 hours of loud music and water aerobics twice a day at the pool. It was a bit annoying when there were hardly any people there. But strangely enough once it was busier and warm you find yourself getting into it :). It's all in good spirit. Maybe they don't need to do this twice a day though as some people are chilling. But, overall it's very quiet, relaxing and calm here. We came here end of May and beginning of June. I would definitely recommend this place as it's a great holiday and in beautiful setting with a really nice atmosphere and great staff.

Great location, a 10 minute walk to a fantastic beach. Staff are brilliantly helpful and energetic. Be aware when booking that some pitches border the slightly noisy road on the eastern side, while others get the full benefit of the central evening entertainment!
Altogether a marvellous place for families with young children, but not so geared for children 11+

Very nice indeed! We stayed at the "Chalet Paradiso" and its quite spacious and well equiped. I love the closed area with its own little garden, especially great when you have little kids. Camping itself is very green and nice with a lot of activities for kids of different age. We will definitely come once again.

The best holiday ever! The accommodation (type Chalet) was perfect, there are a lot of programs for kids, sportprograms for adults as well (aquagym, and Maria's yoga courses were excellent). We'll come back, I'm sure! 🥰
