Top noch amazing food! Kind staff. Averave accommodations. Long walk or bike or shuttle to beach. Non heated pools. Broken steamroom. Nkt much of a gym with limited hours. Arrived in our room with dorty towels on the floor from previous guests.
But the food was the best weve had at a hotel!
Going to Lignano for almost 40 years. First time in this Resort and we are flabbergasted. Amazing. Staff is great and friendly. The apartment was great and definitively not the typical Italian standard... Food buffets for morning and dinner were also amazing. It's far off from everything, so if you dont mind taking the bikes or the car it is perfect.

However, it is regrettable that the behavior of the hotel staff does not live up to the number of stars it has.
A waiter during our first breakfast was very rude when I asked him some help fort the orange juice machine....
During our stay, a member of the hotel came knocking on our door one to give us an "invitation" to an aperitif for the August 15 party. No price was mentioned on the document provided and we left immediately after the aperitif. Against all expectations, when handing over the keys to the apartment a receptionist (constantly making a sad face) tried to charge me €70 for a dinner that me and my family had never had, on the pretext that I signed up for the aperitif! When leaving, this person did not apologize to me for this mistake and did not have the courtesy to say goodbye. Unacceptable for a 4 stay !!!
Also everywhere you go you have to go with the car, that is not so great but if you go with the car you can see more of the city. Although it is not a beautiful city but if you are here for the sea than it doesn't matter.
All in all ,we had a good and nice experience and we would come back here.
The breakfast ist very good and the diner has much variability food for every person.
