Hotel Lido in Gabicce Mare

My family (2 adults and 2 small children) and I stayed at this hotel at the end of June this year. Unfortunately, I can't leave a positive review for two main reasons.
I definitely have to mention the uncomfortable bed: the first night, we couldn't get any sleep. After pointing this out to the staff, they provided us with a topper and pillows, but while they did slightly improve the situation, they didn't prevent us from waking up every morning with back pain.
Another negative aspect was the food (except for breakfast), which was truly awful, although it improved slightly over the last two days. Furthermore, our 3-year-old daughter ate nothing but pasta with tomato sauce, pasta with meat sauce, pasta without sauce, and cooked ham (the grilled chicken was inedible). Now, I'm not expecting a children's menu with a wide variety of dishes, but what would we have done if we had stayed there for two weeks? Otherwise, we would have had to pay for dishes outside the menu, on top of full board. On two occasions, we ordered fries, which were promptly charged, despite having repeatedly mentioned our difficulties with food for our daughter. I wasn't expecting that.
On the plus side, the location, as the hotel is just steps from the beach (which is super convenient for children), and the size of the room.

Very disappointed at being accused of not paying our bar bills. Even with proof of having paid (several bank transactions in our bank apps). The wait staff is nice but young and has insufficient experience when it comes to groups and multiple people paying for their own drinks. Keep all of your receipts so this won't happen to you.
