Hotel Adler in Gabicce Mare

We stayed overnight and got what probably was the worst room on the first floor facing the hotel's entrance, large parking, other hotels and a construction site. The room did not quite look like on the photos, they've made some really good professional photos of the place. In reality it's a basic and old-fashioned hotel, i wouldn't like to stay there again and having paid almost 140 euro for the night I feel like it did not offer value for money. Dated furniture, the shower was a hole in the room with a sink and some dreadful shower curtain. Toilet was in a separate room, balcony offers no privacy as there are no partitions with neighbours. I booked because of the proximity to the beach but the hotel is on the cliff so there's a steep walk through the park or less steep but lengthier walk across town. No point in staying there for the sea, a better hotel two or even three streets away will be a better bet. Not coming back to Adler, god forbid, but may come back to Gabicce Mare as the town is lovely and got everything for a great beach holiday.
