Hotel Excelsior in Gabicce Mare

We spent six nights at this hotel, which amazed me for a number of reasons. First, its central location, right on the seafront and right in the heart of the pedestrian zone. Then, the room, with a large glass wall facing the sea offering an incredible view, was very spacious and well-appointed. The food was always varied, offering a wide variety of choices, both at breakfast and at lunch and dinner, with three choices of first and second courses, as well as a wide selection of appetizers and side dishes, and fresh fruit and desserts every day. Last but not least, the staff were young, helpful, efficient, and friendly, from Nicholas to Kevin, from Mary to Eddy, and everyone else, who always had a smile on their faces and knew how to maintain a cordial relationship with everyone. Congratulations to Davide and everyone else.

A fixed stop every year to have the most beautiful sea view room in Gabicce. The rooms have been renovated and have every comfort. I would improve the mattresses, they need a good makeover. Like the elevator, making it faster would be perfect. Super central location and has parking. Obviously we can't miss our compliments to Edy who treated us like friends from start to finish. I hope that life reserves you much success and happiness but selfishly speaking we hope to find you there next year too. The boy in the dining room was also very kind and friendly, like all the ladies. In short, the staff really makes the experience and the stay pleasant, it's like being with family. We stayed in this hotel, right in the center of Gabicce and facing the sea, for a week.
We had a very good time, all the staff from the manager Davide, to the guys at the reception, to the guys in the room, to the cleaning ladies are welcoming and helpful.
Our room had a window overlooking the sea and a beautiful terrace overlooking the center equipped with clothesline, very useful for drying swimsuits and beach towels.
The breakfast is plentiful and includes both sweet and savory dishes and there is a wide choice of homemade cakes.
The buffet cuisine, served by staff and protected by glass with excellent daily menus. Compliments to the chef, super!!!

We recommend this hotel and will definitely return!

Apart from an initial misunderstanding and perhaps a few details, we had a very good time. :)
The staff is very very kind and works very hard.
The location is great; simply go out the back door of the hotel and you will immediately find the bathrooms with sunbeds in front of you. The parking service is very convenient.
The cleanliness of the rooms is always top notch, the cuisine is very good and varied. The people at the reception and the young guys serving stand out for their kindness, the others certainly for their experience.

We are a couple of husband and wife we ​​stayed in this hotel from 12 to 23 August 2023 with a couple of friends. We stayed in room 37 located on the 4th side floor with a balcony overlooking the sea where you could see beautiful sunsets.
The cleanliness of the room is remarkable, even if it is simple in its furnishings. Very kind and cordial staff from the cleaning lady (very nice and kind to us) to the hotel staff.
Food served as a buffet by the staff as many times as you wanted, delicious desserts and excellent and plentiful breakfast.
Convenient beach service 50 m from the hotel at the Paradise baths.
We especially thank the guys at the Nicolas room service and the little one in the group whose name we don't remember.
But a big thank you goes to all the staff.

Small family-run hotel, in the center of Gabicce Mare, directly on the beach.
Clean and basic structure, courteous staff, very good and home cooking.
Davide: a very helpful and easy-going gentleman .. we were very satisfied and as soon as the opportunity arises we will definitely return.
