Garden Hotel Michelangelo in Mestre

This is not a 4 stars hotel. The rooms were dirty. Stain on walls . Tv infront of the morror. And it's very outdated. If you want one night stand , this is the place. Otherwise better stay away. Dont let the bugs bite you. I do not recommend it at all.

WARNING!
The Air-Conditioning system only functions from 3PM until 09:30 AM, although the Booking reservation did not inform us of this condition. In a period where temperature at 10AM was close to 30°C, if we didnt leave the room until then it was unbearable.
The hotel is also extremely old-fashioned (like stuck in the 30's), very old equipment (we had a bed that had a radio system just above our heads ???), extremely small lift which creaked and cracked while going up/down very slowly(covered in carpeting as well, good luck not being covered in sweat while the lift takes literal 30 seconds to go up 2 floors)
You are better off searching for an AirBnb on the main island rather than saving 100 euros at this hotel.
Someone should also call Gordon Ramsey to come film one more episode of Hotel Hell at this place.

First,booked a room with a double bed,as together with his wife.And were given a room with a bed which has a mattress with two single beds.It was uncomfortable to sleep because of this!Secondly,the room was in which was a door connecting with another room in which they were strangers and they were very audible,though the door was closed was still worried for things and money in the room.Thirdly,the room was cleaned bad.With us at reception took 20evro for that and the room cleaned for us to the population as it was not cleaned and we could not move.I agreed to pay it for about only 15 minutes(that confused me,it is impossible for a time to clean well the room) when we walked into the room from the beginning it seemed all clear,but then the bathroom was terribly dirty..toilet not clean and not washed,the fridge is not working and even dirty.Before the last day we have disabled the right top corner of the room was terribly cold.Impressions and memories are not particularly pleasant.

This hotel has another business. I checked-in on October 29 and checked-out on 30. It was a group tour through the travel agency. I couldn't find my key room no. 211 when I check-out and paid €80 with credit card. I found the key next day in the morning and contacted the hotel. If I returned the key, I could get 80 euros back. But this hotel said can't refund €80. Anyway the key was returned on November 4, through the travel agency even. This hotel still has my money.

Avoid this hotel at all costs. Stayed here with a group. Some of the rooms got broken into and money went missing. There was no sign of force entry, so whoever done it, mist have had the master key. I've been talking to one of the tour managers and she said this happenes here often. Apparently multiple times in the past couple of years and hotel have done nothing to improve security. They could at least install security cameras if nothing else. If you decide to stay here anyway, make sure you have your valuables on you at all times. They usually go for money only.
Also the whole hotel is severely outdated and needs to be renovated.

The rooms were uncomfortably hot as the aircon was not very effective at all as there was merely air flow in the room and the windows could not be opened either due to no fly screen. A very basic variety for breakfast also for our group tour and very disappointing that our juices were even watered down. Considering we also paid just the same as anyone else to stay in this hotel it was very poor hospitality and I wouldn’t recommend.
