Relais Ca' Sabbioni in Marghera

Stayed on 17th May 2012 pre cruise for 1 night. Central Venice was very busy and we couldnt get a room at a reasonable price. Beautiful hotel. Stunning bed and bathrooms.Small but perfect outside area. All the fixtures and fittings in this hotel are absolutely top quality. Receptionist were excellent, very,very friendly and helpful. Breakfast set up was a little odd however. It started at 7.00 but when we arrived at 7.10 there was nothing out.The very hands on receptionist had to help get a few trays out. Continental breakfast was very nice and served on beautiful classy crockery. I am not sure it was Villroy & Boch. It was however a very long breakfast as things just came out bit by bit from the kitchen. The hotel is situated directly on a busy road but that did not bother us. The bus stops across the road to take you into Venice, takes 30 minutes and costs only 1 euro 30 cents. If you are travelling from the airport you would need to get the airport bus to Plaza de Roma,Venice, then the bus to the hotel. You need to buy tickets before you get on the bus either from Plaza de Roma ticket office if in Venice. If at the hotel you can get tickets from reception or the campsite shop/reception 50 yards down the road next door. You can also get beers from the snack bar and it is very cheap in comparison to central Venice. 2 euros for a beer I love contemporary hotels and the concept of this stunning villa but it lacks something. I think a proper dining/ lounge/ bar area would help. The seating in restaurant was a bit ikea-ish and too modern to appeal to the majority I fear.

Beautiful rooms. Super modern, with comfortable beds and clean facilities. Staff are extremely friendly, helpful and make a nice breakfast in the morning. They also speak english which is very helpful. Close to Venice and great value.

The rooms are very nicely furnished, spacious, and have a great rustic feel. The staff are all extremely nice and eager to help. In addition the food is excellent and plentiful. A bus picks up across the street that makes getting to Venice proper easy and cheap making this hotel a great pick over the more expensive hotels in the city. Highly recommended.

Staff are super friendly and extremely helpful.

Breakfast is delightful, served by a friendly waitress, and has a huge variety including yoghurts, cakes, pastries, bread, juices, eggs, cheese, meat, cereal and bread

Amazing staff, beautiful villas and delicious food at the Antico Ristoro. This place is a very relaxing place and can make anybody feel well rested. Will definitely come back to Relais Ca' Sabbioni the next time when we will be in Venice!

By far one of the nicest hotels we have stayed in. Staff are extremely helpful yet not intrusive. Rooms are out of this world. Beds are very comfy. The bathroom is perfect. Drinks left waiting in the room on arrival with a personalised welcome note. All just wonderful.

It was a pleasant surprise to see inside of this boutique hotel. We initially thought we picked a lemon when we had to arrive from the train station. Fantastic guest services and check-in by staff. Even had a free upgrade to their suite room to our surprise when we returned from day visit to Venice.

Nice decor and free breakfast. Easy and cheap to bus from train station and Venice it self by regular buses. 5 star

Clean and modern style in lobby & rooms. The people that run it were very nice. For breakfast,it was brought to our room on a large platter display & delicious. Sadly, my photos are dark. It is in Mestre, 5 star hotel on Hotels.com. It is in Greater Venice.

Well where should I start?
The hotel itself is amazing and not distant from local shops. Public transport is available right opposite the hotel and will only take approximately half hour to get you to Venice. Precautions have been placed in order to keep staff and guests safe during the pandemic.
The hotel itself is rich full of history with an amazing, lovely romantic garden where you can spend your time with your spouse. The room itself was amazing, clean and tidy. The bed is is soft and great for your back with a lovely view of the garden.
The restaurant was sadly closed due to the pandemic however breakfast is available and the food is to die for, fresh.
The staff, including Michele and Silvia were very accommodating and have provided with an amazing and friendly beautiful experience in Italy. I will definitely will be returning and I’m glad for staying at this beautiful hotel.

Nice hotel 20 minutes by bus from Venice - bus stop right across the street. The staff was very nice, the breakfast service was wonderful with a great variety and the restaurant was perfect on a night that we didnt want to fight crowds in the city. Room was very comfortable and spacious.
