Well located hotel, with easy (vaporetto and by foot) connections to all parts of Venice. Breakfast was included and was good. There is a supermarket a couple of mins away.
For those with mobility issues but does not use a wheelchair, please check what the hotel has in place to support you when the lift does not work. We chose this hotel as it has lift access to all floors. On the day we were checking out, the power was shut off for works (by the local govt and not the hotel). This resulted in the lifts being inaccessible, making it impossible for one person in our party to access the room. While the hotel was helpful in bringing luggage downstairs, it was concerning that they had no solution to help someone unable to take the stairs. We were fortunate that we had a solution that did not require help from hotel staff, but I am not clear on how someone with mobility issues and stuck on the upper floors would be able to move.

Our stay at Palazzo Veneziano was brilliant. The hotel is in a great location on the south coast, and within walking distance of all the areas of interest. Rooms are spacious and comfortable and the staff were extremely polite, professional and helpful. We will definitely be coming back for our next trip to Venice!

I just spent two nights at the Palazzo hotel in a junior suite and was completely satisfied. The front desk was courteous and attentive to your needs. They were helpful in reserving a water taxi for me. The room was spotless, the bathroom was large and the rain shower head was perfect after a long day of touring this beautiful city. The breakfast was plentiful as it had a large variety of food items to choose from, including eggs, yogurt, fruits, ham, rolls, croissants, coffee, cappuccino , etc. I would definitely return to this hotel again.

I have no idea why this hotel gets good reviews. In particular, we found the breakfast to be appallingly bad - sad looking food of poor quality and mobbed with people. We had coffee and then went out for breakfast instead. The room decor and outdoor seating area were tired, the bed was uncomfortable and sloped into the middle, the gaudy colors of our room (BRIGHT red) were not restful. We got a free room upgrade but I have no idea why a hot tub and second toilet upstairs are desirable. My husband hit his head incredibly hard on the steel beamed staircase in the room (under which the desk/trash can are placed). We left early due to unforeseen circumstances, but we were glad to leave. The front desk staff were lovely but the experience and spaces lacked.

Great service very friendly staff! Our room was beautiful and had a small sofa which they made up as a bed at our request.
Breakfast everything you could imagine
including espresso and cappuccino.
We also took a cab to the airport which was a lot cheaper than the water taxi. A nice steward helped with our bags to the former cruise terminal to a waiting taxi.
If you are in Venice for a few days, this hotel and location are worth it!

Overall great experience at this hotel. The location was top! Everything accessible.

They had a great complimentary activity + boat to Murano and the glass factory. That was a nice added touch.

The reception overall was friendly. Rima was the best! She took great care of us & was always smiley and friendly. She made dinner reservations for us always on time without hesitation. She definitely enhanced our experience at this hotel.

However, I found the check in process to be a little strange… the front desk guy wasn’t so welcoming & asked for our keys back after already having given them to us. Just overall not the most pleasant experience upon first impression.

The room wasn’t as nice as I would’ve expected based on the pictures when I first booked it but bed was comfortable enough + room was very clean. Breakfast could’ve been more varied too….

But Overall nice stay!!

The hotel is of a relatively high standard among four-star hotels. We booked a loft room and our family of three lived very comfortably. The breakfast standard was also very high, with a wide selection of bread, cake, cheese, ham, and fruit, and the service was also very good. However, since it was my first time in Venice, I didn't know that taxis couldn't go directly to the hotel, so I walked 1.2 kilometers with my luggage up and across the bridge, which was very tiring. I knew I could take a boat when I left, so everyone should plan well.

The hotel’s location is ideal—peaceful yet conveniently close to Venice’s main attractions. Breakfast was a standout, offering a wide variety of fresh, delicious options to start the day right. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and ensured our stay was memorable.
