Be careful. I made a reservation with Stella CasaBono a number of months ago. Yesterday I received an email saying that my reservation was cancelled- with no explanation or apology. I wrote to the hotel and they did not respond. I wonder if it is for the best that we not stay there.

Stella casabono is a beautiful b&b all newly renovated, clean and comfortable. Josepe and Roberto helped us a lot with organizing our visit, recommending places to see and restaurants. Breakfast is delicious,

Awesome location, fabulous room great breakfast and terrific service. I have run out of superlatives.
Roberto and Giuseppe were extremely good and informative, pretty much the Sulmona Tourist office.
Would visit Sulmona again just to stay here.

The service was amazing. Roberto and Giuseppe were wonderful hosts. Hotel is in a cool section of the old town of Sulmona. Breakfast was exceptional too. Comfortable bed as well. We thoroughly recommend Stella CasaBona

The stay was excellent. Very nice. Very comfortable. Roberto was very very helpful Location is great. Just at the city center. And also the parking arrangement was convenient.

This property was in a great location in Sulmona Italy. The room was fantastic! Breakfast excellent with a choice of a traditional Italian breakfast (coffee, fruit, danish and juice) or eggs, ham, coffee, juice and fruit. Great town to walk around in and the hotel was central to the center. We loved it and wished for more time!

Ideal location for visiting not only downtown Sulmona but also the close-by national parks of Majella and Parco Nazionale d'Abruzzo with the amazing villages of Scanno, Pescasseroli, Pacentro, Pescocostanzo. The small, family-run hotel is easy to reach by car, however a special permission (provided by the host) to enter Sulmona center to unload/load your baggage is required and long-term parking is available in a public parking garage nearby (5-minutes walk). Rooms are spacious, comfortable, in an impeccable condition, breakfast was served by the owners in person (Roberto and Giuseppe) in the classic setting of an Italian coffee shop. On demand, Roberto recommends and meticulously prepares the essential tours in the surrounding area.

The pillows are the best I’ve slept on. Giuseppe and Roberto, your hospitality was fantastic. You accommodated a 3 month old baby, our laundry and everything in between. Great location, very clean and modern rooms. We will back next year. Once again, thank you so much

I can’t adequately express how wonderful our stay at Stella Casabono was. The hotel’s owners, Roberto and Giuseppe were incredibly warm and welcoming. Their restaurant recommendations were spot on and a delight. Mostly though, Roberto and Giuseppe treated us like family and were extremely accommodating when we decided to extend our stay in Sulmona. The hotel’s location was smack dab in the center of Sulmona and an evening stroll through town became a delightful daily ritual. The rooms in the hotel are large, well designed and the amenities were equal to any 5 star hotel in Rome or Paris. The beds were comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. On our next trip to the Abruzzo and Sulmona we stay will stay at Stella Casabono because, why not—it was a perfect stay.
