Hotels in Cisternino

Good Hotel apart from food if you have dietary needs over all good.

Efficiently run hotel with fantastic views. Plenty of choice at breakfast and good food at dinner Comfortable and clean room with good air con They have a separate restaurant on site as well where they have tasty pizzas.

We spent 2 nights in the hotel which offers a good hub to discover the region. Not luxury but the essential services are ok. Rooms are quiet and from the terrasse you have a nice view to the sea. Parking available. A typical hotel used by many bus travel organisations who represent the bulk of hotel visitors.

We dined several times at **Pizzeria — Hotel Lo Smeraldo** and enjoyed every visit! The cozy atmosphere, combined with attentive service, made it a pleasure each time. One of the highlights was the incredible value—just 5.50 € for a half-liter of delicious, local red wine. The pizzas were perfectly cooked with fresh ingredients, balancing traditional flavors with a wood-fired crispness. The beautiful...

Great hotel for family as well as couples, so relaxing and loved the views.

LA TAVERNA LO SMERALDO: We had a lovely meal and a very enjoyable evening at the ground floor bistro (pizzeria) which has an extensive menu, pizzas being just a small part of the full offering. The service was kind, attentive, interested, available, professional and friendly. The quality of the food was good, nicely presented and well prepared (nothing fancy and dressed up, but simply good honest food...

Great place for a private event or a getaway stay. Beautiful historical structure with great service

This place is a real gem. Rooms were very clean filled with design furniture. Giulia and Giuseppe are the perfect host - we will be back !!!

PROS Excellent rooms Excellent position Excellent details Excellent food and bar Excellent place to disappear CONS Need more explanation at the beginning: sell your story, it is great Suggested by Giulia Torelli, we selected this place at its first year. Recommended as 3 days-retreat

The perfect masseria for a typical getaway (even with August peak season, crowded roads and Ferragosto craziness!). We stayed in the Trullo Sovrano room, impeccably clean and well-equipped. The masseria’s service was impeccable, the breakfast extremely rich and filling and the amenities exceeded our expectations. Highly recommended!

WOW! My family and I loved every second of our stay with hosts Giulia and Giuseppe. Great hospitality, genuine soul food and great decor! hope to be back really soon.

Beautiful and unique. Each bedroom is special. The reception is comfortable and accommodating. Design and style with an abundance of charm. Hosts are impeccable with your needs at heart. An oasis in Puglia.

Beautiful place, friendly staff, location is ok, close to Cisternina, a small and beautiful town.

Great stay again for this second year really enjoyed it, with great spot, food and team!

Generally this is an amazingly quiet and relaxing place to stay. It is an old Trulli village that had been lovingly restored to a high standard while resting many original features and a cosy feel. It has nearly everything that we expect- lovely rooms, bathrooms, great shower, comfortable bed, lovely grounds - pool and restaurant. It’s a great base to travel from but you’re best off with a car. The...

Fantastic stay! The rooms were incredible and the pool area was very luxurious. Very quiet and ideal for a few days as a break from travelling around the region. Would highly recommend

Really lovely stay in the Trulli hotel, a small family feel to the hotel but everything you could need for a really relaxing stay. You will need a car to get around but it is a good base for exploring different bits of Puglia and the trulli are really beautiful.

Loved everything about this hotel and would 100% recommend! We stayed at the property for 2 nights and wished I would have stayed a week! It was a perfect little haven nestled in a quiet area but perfectly located to visit all local towns around Cisternino. The hotel had everything you could want and more, from incredible cave style rooms, to a fabulous pool! The breakfast buffet was wonderful...

I was in Villa Cenci as a tour leader for a big group reunion from Poland; we had a two day cycling tour around the trulli area. The place is really fantastic, with a large garden and a swimming pool, ideal for a peaceful stay in the countryside; it is located close to many attractive places of Puglia. The staff was really welcoming and professional. The food was excellent at breakfast and at dinner...

The hotel was truly amazing, featuring very nice accommodations and staff who were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. The only drawback was the breakfast, but I suspect they might still be refining it since they were finishing the season. The people working there were exceptionally friendly, and the hotel's swimming pool and buildings were wonderful. I highly recommend this place.

I spent 6 nights at the hotel. Beautiful views, crisp, clean, safe room, serene pool. Wonderful service, kind, family run staff who offered ideas and transportation. Lovely variety of fresh fruit and breakfast options with made to order espresso or cappuccino each morning. Flavio spoke English and was the most helpful and friendly person. He lent me a correct charger. Also the rest of the staff...

I stayed at this hotel in Puglia and can highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Itria Valley. The location is perfect, well-connected to all the main towns in the area. The property is well-maintained and immaculately clean, with a beautiful pool and huge, comfortable rooms. Breakfast was one of the most pleasant surprises: rich and varied, with many carefully prepared artisanal products. I really...

Such a beautiful place to stay in. Travelling with a group of friends around Apulia and south of Italy. We stayed for two nights. The hotel has big rooms and comfortable beds. We liked the location because it’s in the middle of the nowhere and gives you the option to travel around without worrying about parking spaces. We saw Lecce, Ostuni, Monopoli, Polignano a mare and Bari all of them within an...

March 2023 (mind you it's off season around here) Great value!! Beautiful location and kind people.

I had the pleasure of staying over the weekend and had a great time. The room is very nice and spacious even with a veranda, clean and recently renovated. The owners are very kind and helpful. At breakfast they served us a plentiful and fresh breakfast, not packaged, even a freshly baked donut. I'll be back in the summer to take a dip in the pool 😜👍

The hotel is located in a beautiful setting and in a quiet area, it enjoys a beautiful view and a decent swimming pool. Externally the structure is very beautiful, internally it is a bit dated, especially the rooms. The hotel is huge, so I don't know if there are even newer rooms, perhaps recently refurbished, but certainly our room was definitely not worth the price we paid. We were also a little...

If paradise exists, it's there. We were alone in the world, surrounded only by nature. We were able to recharge and live at our own pace. I would gladly go back.

Très joli, très calme, l'accueil des propriétaires est parfait. La piscine et les aménagements extérieurs sont tops.

Bel giardino e bella piscina, luogo spazioso. Alla notte si possono vedere tutte le stelle, bellissimo. Ogni casa ha il suo spazio privato, in piscina tanti lettini.

Amazing place, the owners are great people!

Great apartment (booked through AirBnB) in the middle of the fields and trullis of Apulia. The old walls exude authenticity and you feel transported back in time.

Live a fairy tale both for a day and for an infinite stay

I appreciated with their hospitality. The property was beautiful, and the breakfast was filled with home grown fruits and home baked goods. Absolutely recommend this place.

Set in the tranquil countryside a couple of kilometres outside the charming town of Cisternino, Masseria Peppeturro combines authenticity and comfort in the best possible way. It’s still a working farm, and the two original trulli on the property have been renovated into spacious guest accommodation. (We and the friends we were travelling with stayed in these; there are other, non-trulli apartments...

Lovely breakfast, with the scrambled eggs and mozzarella a highlight. Easy to find just out of town, Rino was friendly and welcoming. The Pool was great, and the Trulli was unique. Easy to park the car, and plenty of options for buying food nearby for the built in kitchen

This was a great place for my family to stay in Puglia. It’s located conveniently to act as a base to take day trips around the area. Keep in mind that your vehicle’s GPS will probably only get you close to the property—you’ll probably need Google maps to get you to the actual site. The property is an easy four-minute drive from the lovely town of Cisternino, where you’ll find all of the groceries...

This B&B is fantastic for exploring Puglia; it's in the middle of the area covering Alberobello, Locorotondo, Cisternino and Ostuni, and you can also easily reach out to many other towns and cities in Puglia. The masseria is a great peaceful B&B, in the middle of olive oil plantation. Rino and his family are welcoming and kind hosts, and are doing everything to keep you well. We got tips for traveling...

Friendly hosts, clean accommodation, good breakfast, excellent location. The pool is clean and in a very nice environment among lots of greenery. Quiet. The owner was generous despite our mistake in booking the apartment and easily exchanged it for us for trulli at no extra cost. Really nice!
