Efficiently run hotel with fantastic views. Plenty of choice at breakfast and good food at dinner Comfortable and clean room with good air con They have a separate restaurant on site as well where they have tasty pizzas.

We spent 2 nights in the hotel which offers a good hub to discover the region. Not luxury but the essential services are ok. Rooms are quiet and from the terrasse you have a nice view to the sea. Parking available. A typical hotel used by many bus travel organisations who represent the bulk of hotel visitors.

Clean hotel. A bit far from everything. Not worthy of a 4 star. Very small individual rooms. Poorly soundproofed. No air conditioning. Cramped shower cubicle. No storage. Uncomfortable pillows. Everything to ruin a stay. Very good breakfast despite unsmiling staff! In short. Move on.

We had a triple room that looked like a cell, low beds, soft mattresses, outdated furniture, sad lighting, air conditioning that didn't work. We asked to change rooms and they refused. A real disaster, it's in the middle of nowhere.

I chose Puglia because the region seemed to offer me a lot and it did. The hotel is quietly located on a hill surrounded by a nature reserve. Unfortunately the walls between the rooms were paper thin so you could hear every sound in the room next to you: talking, phone calls, snoring, moving chairs etc... not very soothing. The acoustics in the dining rooms were also very poor and when there are many people, people can barely hear each other because of the noise. The swimming pool was closed despite the nice temperatures around 25°C. I would not recommend taking a short walk in the surrounding forests because from 5 am you will be woken up by hunters who shoot down songbirds and migratory birds during this period (they are still sleeping and it is easier), even on Sundays. These hunts are banned in Europe but are still done en masse in Puglia!!! Why then 2 stars: the staff was very friendly and the rooms were very clean.

Nice hotel, located in a quiet and charming area, surrounded by nature and sparkles with trulli. The hotel itself it a recent building although the furniture might look a bit outdated. The staff is very friendly and ready to satisfy your needs, especially kudos to the receptionist! (Young funny guy with a beard) Tips: 1. The weekends, especially Sundays, can be quite busy (they hold marriages and so on on Sundays); 2. The rooms might differ greatly, and you can go from a large room, double bed, balcony with sea view… to a small single room, single bed, no balcony and wall view… (although these rooms could be quite cool in summer) 3. The restaurant also owns a restaurant (that can be used by outsiders) called La Taverna Lo Smeraldo, which is pretty good and characteristic…

This attractive hotel is set high above Cisternino, offering a lovely view either of the town or the sea. This is a large hotel with a bright, welcoming foyer. We had a clean, comfortable room with a small balcony overlooking the town. The car park is just outside the hotel, and there is a nice high swimming pool. The staff are polite and helpful. Breakfast is mainly continental, and was all good, although it doesn’t have a wide selection.

Great place to relax. Staff helpful with exception of barman who could be indifferent at times. Hotel is in secluded grounds so transport a must.
