Borgo Canonica in Cisternino

Just amazing. Of all the places I’ve been in the world, this was truly a magical experience that I really hope to experience again one day. The rooms are superb and comfortable. Bravo to the owners and the thoughtful restoration of these Trulli Houses.

Staff consistently friendly and warm. We enjoyed laying out at the pool, walking the property to see all the flowers and food they grow. Top notch breakfasts and dinners. Overall, our time there was so peaceful.

The only unfortunate part is that we wanted to stay an extra night but it was booked out. I genuinely teared up leaving because it’s nothing like you’ll experience anywhere else.

This place lets you feel like you're in a fairy tale. The ambience, the peace, the smells. It is not the typical hotel also because you basically enter this ancient mediterranean village and every room is a little Trullo full of all luxury you can desire in your stay, including the stunning pool or the amazing food of their restaurant. I just loved my stay and can't wait to go back!

Beautiful setting, the rooms are authentic and nicely decorated. The staff are helpful , especially Claudia. The restaurant went behind to make us Vegan and vegetarian options , would definitely this awesome hotel

What a wonderful place. So quite and beautiful, rooms are charming and comfortable; the landscape is tranquil, breakfast is tasty and the pool is indeed infinite. We had spend two great nights there. They have done a master peace of renovation to the trulli houses. If you are to chose a place to stay in Alberobello area I would chose staying here and not there as is a short ride.

Loved every second of our one night stay at Borgo Canonica! It’s a peaceful luxurious oasis in Puglia.

Definitely stay in a trullo and relax at the pool. While the water was quite cold (in April) we were glad we went for a swim.

Breakfast was delicious too.
