To start with, Tullio and Sedita were wonderful hosts, so friendly and very much there to help with any questions. The room and balcony we had, and the terrace on the roof, were in need of some TLC to bring it up to a more comfortable standard, but having said that our room was very clean, well serviced and while the bed was a little soft for me, it was comfy. The breakfast was really good but after a few days did get a bit repetitive. The location is as central in the old Lecce town as it could possibly be, literally a couple of minutes stroll to the bars and resteraunts. The downside of that was there was quite a bit of noise from the street as the bars closed in the early hours at the weekend.
Its a 15 minute walk to the trainstation which gives opportunity for lots of day trips.
Over all i enjoyed our stay there, but with some work this would be a truley fabulous place. But the best thing about this property and maybe others is, becauae of its age, and the regulations the owners are restricted to changing this building, so no lift available. However the owner has installed a lifft pulley to get your cases up to the second floor.

Excellent B&B in the center of Lecce. The host, Tullio, takes pride in his city and business. Comfortable, convenient and tasty breakfast. Highly recommend!

Staying at Azzurretta was the highlight of our trip to Puglia and we couldn't have been happier with our choice! We spent 5 days there exploring all the wonders of the area. The hotel has so much charm and history, the rooms are huge, comfortable and are kept incredibly clean. The rooftop terrace is a wonderful space to relax, have a cocktail & enjoy the views or like me, do early morning yoga in total peace. The owner, Tullio is a wonderful guy who is super knowledgeable about all things Puglian and loves to share this knowledge with his guests and make recommendations for places to go and restaurants to eat at. I've actually never stayed anywhere with a nicer or more helpful owner than Tullio. Breakfast on the terrace was our favourite part of the day. Not just because the variety of delicious homemade foods, but the woman who serves them, Sedita, is delightful and greets you each day with the biggest smile ever. She's an absolute gem. We spent 4 days in Monopoli before Lecce and actually wish we'd spend the whole 9 days at Azzurretta and made day trips from there. Anyway, I’m sure we’ll be back one day soon!

Truly engaged service & hosting
Very good quality room restored in historic building. Spacious room, very clean, good bed, good shower (except it was quite tiny). Good location in Lecce old town. Nice rustic roof terrace for lounge area and breakfast. But definitely the best was our host Tullio, his heart warming attitude made us feel so welcome and special. He really makes this accommodation stand out from the rest.

The location was excellent, right in the middle of the old district. The rooms were nice and clean, the host was incredibly nice and the breakfast was remarkable.
The terrace has great views and the building a lot of character.

Overall, a great place to stay, would recommend!

This was a fantastic property, located perfectly inside the centro storico of Lecce. Our host Tullio was incredibly generous, knowledgeable, and helpful. We highly recommend this property

Great location, everything is walking distance. Tullio is an excellent host. The continental breakfast was fresh and tasty. The room was big, the bed was comfortable, however the shower is very small. Because the building is from the 1600’s it would have been nice to have it furnished in that period.

Tullio was a gracious host, and very knowledgeable about the area. In the heart of old town, a very spacious room, comfortable bed, and felt very safe walking at night as a solo female. Breakfast on the rooftop terrace each morning was a special treat!
