Where to stay in Lecce

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Tiziano. The breakfast was delicious, and the hot chocolate was amazing better than in many other hotels I’ve stayed at. My room was spacious and cleaned every day, which made my stay even more comfortable. Overall, I’m really satisfied and would gladly return!

This hotel is nice, but out dated. The staff is very friendly and most of the speaks English fairly well. The room was nice, and beds were comfortable. The lifts were old and half of the were out of service. Location wise it's a 15 minutes walk to the old town center.

Overdue maintenance. Air conditioning is out of order, unpleasant atmosphere, staff is good. Everything is hanging loose, window handle, bathroom shower hanging hook. Furthermore, a lot of noise due to the building's extraction. My room 160 was right next to it. Because of this I slept very badly. Not recommended.

Amazing experience, quiet room, big space, clean and comfortable

I recently stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn in Lecce, and I went in with pretty high expectations since it’s a 4 star hotel. Very clean and nice staff. Be aware that they charge you for cleaning your room. Typically cleaning and providing fresh towels is not an extra charge. Also the bottles of water they leave in the room are extra charge as well if you use them - even though bottled water it is the only drinking water available in Italy. Hotel was great otherwise!

The ambiance was okay, but the service was terrible. At breakfast, they asked everyone around them what kind of coffee they wanted, but skipped over me, a Chinese guest. When I asked for my room number, their attitude was extremely arrogant. If your hotel doesn't welcome Chinese guests, please don't list it on a Chinese platform. I do not recommend this to any Chinese citizens.

A group of bicyclists stayed in 2023. What a lovely experience. Clean, modern, within walking distance of Lecce. Dinner was exceptional. What was the key to this stay was the staff. Good sized rooms, good shower, very clean and quiet overnight and plenty of parking. Easy to get to by car. Decent breakfast too. A 15 minute walk from the edge of the old town, so in low season a bit of a walk to dinner.

Everything was beautiful. This was a 16 th century palace converted into a hotel in 1997. Totally amazing. The best breakfast I’ve ever had at a hotel. Plush, lush, extravagant, and phenomenal. In the best location. A phenomenal experience.

Central and luxurious In a historic building in the very heart of town center . Rooms are huge, service is amazing. Everything is almost perfect , but for 5starsL I must say: breakfast needs to be improved (quality is excellent , but lacks of choices ) and in a suite coffee station should be mandatory… there was not even a boiler :-(

Price does not match the hotel conditions. Bathroom is not clean and does not have bare necessities. At the end, it’s not a hotel, it’s a bed and breakfast option. You have to check in before 9pm, or they will charge extra. Parking is nightmare.

Truly a fantastic, intimate, and beautifully designed hotel in the heart of Lecce. Our room had a very comfy bed, luxurious rainfall shower, and we had a nice patio shared with one other room. Martina and Carmen were so kind and made our 3 night stay feel like home, and the breakfast was absolutely lovely! We can’t wait to return.

Pleasantly appointed, modern hotel, within reasonable walking distance of the city centre. Very helpful staff - when my wife needed to see a doctor they arranged for one to come to the hotel. As he didn’t have a word of English, and we have no Italian, the delightful female receptionist acted as a translator, which was an enormous help.

Well located, near Old city and 1km plus from train station, hotel is modern with friendly and helpful staff. Rooms small but adequate with wooden flooring and biggish bathroom. Lacks charm but good for a short stay in Lecce. Excellent pizzeria a short distance from the hotel.

Nice spot on the edge of the city. Easy to approach and walkable distance to the fun parts. The restaurant has the best breakfast I had in my two weeks in Italy.

Good location if you came with the car to the city. Really friendly hotel receptionist! The bus station is at the front step of the Hotel and the bus drives you directly to the center of Lecce. Really recommend it! Use bigger room and not the regular one, they are a little bit small. Breakfast was good!

Hotel is very close to train station. Very convenient for hopping on a train to get to hotel and to next destination. No convenience store in close proximity and hence difficult to buy tooth paste and tooth brush that hotel doesn't provide. Only one kebab shop is in close proximity to the hotel and if you do not like kebab you have to walk quite a distance for food.

As soon as the window was closed, the room smelled of decay, a rather unpleasant smell. The elevator was also very old, and it took several presses to get the elevator going while waiting in the lobby. However, it was very close to the station, and taxis were available right outside the hotel, so transportation was quite convenient.

On a beautiful square overlooking the baroque church of Santa Chiara, the hotel exudes old world charm. Our family room had a queen sized bed and a loft with a large bed for total privacy. A nice balcony was on the square/park.

Excellent location. Right in the center of the old town. The negatives are that it advertises a roof top jacuzzi and bar. There is no bar and you are not allowed use the Jacuzzi. It is only for show. It also says gym, hot tub and pool. You have to pay extra to use them. Other than that, an excellent hotel, decent enough breakfast, with lovely pleasant staff

Stopped for a drink and snack with my family. The location Just 20 meters of the main street is great. Service was perfect, personal and friendly without bring too much. We ordered five smaller courses, all were very fresh and tasted excellent. We asked for a wine recommendation, the lokal wine we got was were tasty. I can tecommend anytime to visit Signuria.
